Daily Wire: Send Migrants To The ‘Cities, Villages, Towns’ Across America So ‘It’s Not A Burden’ On NYC, Mayor Says
Send Migrants To The ‘Cities, Villages, Towns’ Across America So ‘It’s Not A Burden’ On NYC, Mayor Says
NYC Mayor Eric Adams proposes that the federal government should disperse migrants crossing the border to other areas across America instead of burdening one city, stating that the $30 million sent to NYC is insufficient to deal with the "national problem." He believes that all 108,000 cities, villages, towns in the US should take a small portion of incoming migrants, coordinated at the border, to ease the burden on just one city. This comes after Adams began busing migrants to surrounding counties in recent weeks in an attempt to alleviate the severity of the issue in NYC; however, both Rockland and Orange Counties sued to stop the move.

New York Magazine Admits Mass Immigration Is 'Bad for Housing Prices'
Mass immigration to the US is hurting housing prices for Americans, according to New York Magazine. Although immigration drives higher demand for homes, it also drives up prices. Rather than decrease immigration levels, New York Magazine suggests making mass immigration “work” by increasing legal immigration and adding more housing development through the dismantling of local zoning laws and constructing multi-family complexes in single-family neighborhoods. The New York Times and Wall Street Journal have similarly admitted this issue in recent months.

The Left's Fear of DeSantis on Full Display: Goofy MSNBC Labels Florida Governor 'Pro-White Supremacy'
MSNBC hosts on "The 11th Hour" discussed Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and his potential 2024 presidential run, focusing on his opposition to "transgenderism." The hosts labeled DeSantis as pro-white supremacy, with CNBC’s Steve Liesman claiming that every legislature talks about the issue and it's been elevated, while The New York Times blamed the religious right. Actor and comedian Aasif Mandvi called conservative opposition to transgenderism a "straw man," while Columbia Professor Basil Smikle claimed that DeSantis is selling racial hierarchy. Meanwhile, Stephanie Rule claimed DeSantis is doubling down on MAGA by using the phrase "make America great again."

American Thinker: Americans are becoming aware of problems with the Deep State
Americans are becoming aware of problems with the Deep State
A poll shows a majority of Americans are realizing the Russian collusion claim was a hoax and that the FBI colluded with the Bidens. Americans also doubt Biden's mental fitness and believe he participated in Hunter's illegal influence peddling. The mainstream media is downplaying the Durham report, but Americans are becoming usefully cynical and may become less willing to accept leftist ideas about America and politics.

The Federalist Papers: Court Hands Transgender Student Crushing Defeat After Suing Over Dress Code Policy for Graduation
Court Hands Transgender Student Crushing Defeat After Suing Over Dress Code Policy for Graduation
Mississippi district court judge denies transgender male student's request to wear a white dress to his graduation. The student, identified as L.B., had been permitted to wear dresses throughout his time in high school, but the school insisted that he follow a dress code for his graduation. The judge cited the dress code's policy with regards to gender-specific attire and stated that cases involving dress codes for transgender individuals are limited, which does not warrant "extraordinary relief in changing the status quo in a short time period."

The Epoch Times: Biden Suggests He Can Raise Debt Ceiling Without GOP Support Using 14th Amendment
Biden Suggests He Can Raise Debt Ceiling Without GOP Support Using 14th Amendment
President Biden considers invoking the 14th Amendment to raise the debt ceiling, allowing him to act unilaterally without Congress. Treasury Secretary Yellen previously dismissed this option as a potential trigger for a constitutional crisis, and Biden acknowledges it is uncertain if it can be executed in time to prevent a default. Without an increase in the debt ceiling, the US risks its first-ever default, and negotiations between the two parties appear to be stalling. The President's move is his strongest yet, but he remains optimistic that it won't be necessary as all leaders involved have pledged to avoid a default.

The Economist: America’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve runneth low
America’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve runneth low
America's Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR), which holds the world's largest stockpile of crude oil, is at its lowest level in 40 years, with just half of its 714 million barrel capacity occupied. The Biden administration has announced a 3 million barrel purchase for August delivery, but uncertainty over future demand and constrained supply has Republicans worried. Republican congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers introduced a bill to bar non-emergency SPR withdrawals unless an administration submits plans to open more federal lands for oil and gas drilling, claiming that the Biden administration's withdrawals may have caused structural damage to the SPR's pipelines and caverns.

Watch: Stunning 34-Second Putt at PGA Championship Deemed Too Long, Leads to Penalty
Professional golfer Lee Hodges had a viral moment during the ongoing PGA Championship, when an otherwise innocuous par-saving putt took more than half a minute to land in the cup. However, Hodges had to change his score from four to five since according to USGA rule book section 'ball overhanging hole', the “reasonable time” to reach the hole and 10 more seconds to see whether the ball falls into the hole, is not defined and the additional 10 seconds after the ball stops moving could result in a penalty. Golfers Jordan Spieth and Phil Mickelson had similar scores than Hodges.

Gataway Couple: Understanding the Different Hurricane Levels
Understanding the Different Hurricane Levels
Understanding hurricane levels is crucial to staying safe during hurricane season. Hurricanes are tropical cyclones that form over warm waters. They are classified into five categories based on sustained wind speeds. Only wind speeds are considered in the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale, not factors like storm surges or flooding. The season generally runs from June 1 to November 30 and the Atlantic Basin sees an average of 12 hurricanes yearly. Florida has received the most direct hits of any state and the deadliest storm since 1935 was Hurricane Ian. It is important to take evacuations and warnings seriously and be aware of hurricane levels and potential dangers.

Fox News: The urgent PayPal email scam you can't afford to ignore
The urgent PayPal email scam you can't afford to ignore
Cybercriminals are using phishing scams to trick people into handing over sensitive information. They send "urgent" emails pretending to be from legitimate companies like PayPal or MetaMask and provide a link to a fake login page. The scammers hope that unsuspecting victims will enter their login credentials, giving the cybercriminals access to their personal information. To avoid falling for a phishing scam, don't click on links or download attachments from suspicious emails, scrutinize the sender's email address, and contact the company directly using their official contact information. Additionally, have good antivirus software on all your devices and consider using identity theft protection.

Russo-Ukrainian War. Day 452: Russia’s Wagner claims Bakhmut

Russian forces have concentrated most of their available reserves to the Bakhmut area and Ukrainian counterattacks near Bakhmut have likely eliminated the threat of a Russian encirclement of Ukrainian forces in Bakhmut. Russian forces have integrated unarmed, surveillance uncrewed aerial vehicles into operations to obtain more timely
