The Epoch Times: All Voters of New York County Falsely Identified as Democrats in Voter IDs
All Voters of New York County Falsely Identified as Democrats in Voter IDs
A printing company, Phoenix Graphics, mistakenly identified all voters in Nassau County, New York, as Democrats on their voter ID cards, causing confusion ahead of the upcoming primaries. Voters of other political affiliations received ID cards identifying them as Democrats, triggering accusations of “sabotaging elections.” The printing company claimed the mistake was an “isolated event” due to human error and apologized for the inconvenience. This is not the first time Phoenix Graphics has made such an error, having caused a similar issue with absentee ballots in Brooklyn in 2020.

The mistake could impact the primaries significantly, as the state of New York has a closed primary system, meaning voters registered with a party are not allowed to vote for any other party. Therefore, voters identified as Democrats would be barred from voting in a Republican primary. Trust in elections has taken a hit due to the error, causing concerns about the election process. Phoenix Graphics is said to be correcting the mistake and will send out new voter ID cards at no extra cost, and the printing firm will pay around $300,000 required to resend the correct registration cards to the county’s voters.

Breitbart: Cassidy: Trump Can Not Win a General Election
Cassidy: Trump Can Not Win a General Election
Senator Bill Cassidy (R-LA) believes that former President Donald Trump cannot win a general presidential election. He also thinks that Governor DeSantis' comment that there are only three credible candidates, Biden, Trump, and himself, is a way to dismiss other candidates like Tim Scott. Cassidy points out that Trump's endorsement hurt Republican candidates in swing states in the last election cycle, which means he will have a hard time winning in the swing states and securing a general election win.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy accused President Biden of pivoting on debt ceiling negotiations and giving in to progressives in the party while fears of a default continue to loom. McCarthy criticized Biden's trip to the G-7 Summit and accused him of wanting default more than a deal. Some Democrats are urging Biden to utilize the 14th Amendment to bypass congressional negotiations.

Chuck Todd Says You Shouldn't Worry About Biden's IRS If You Pay Taxes
Chuck Todd of Meet the Press claimed that taxpayers fear extra IRS agents if they cheat on their taxes. Republican Congressman Byron Donalds corrected Todd, stating that House Republicans want to prevent IRS agents from going after middle-class families and small business owners. Todd claimed taxpayers should have nothing to fear, to which Donalds replied that the data is not there to support Todd's assumption. Todd's ignorance of the IRS's history of power abuse is not something to be tolerated.

The Epoch Times: Biden Says Zelenskyy Gave 'Flat Assurance' He Won't Use F-16s in Russia
Biden Says Zelenskyy Gave 'Flat Assurance' He Won't Use F-16s in Russia
President Biden announced that Ukraine will receive F-16 fighter jets from Western allies, as well as a $375 million aid package. National security adviser Jake Sullivan said the move was due to changes in the war's "exigencies." US allies in Europe praised the decision, while Germany's Chancellor Scholz said "Russia cannot count on winning if it bets on a long war." Russia warned of "enormous risks," and vowed to shoot down any US jets in Ukrainian airspace. Biden previously ruled out providing Ukraine with F-16s. The move comes as Republicans in Congress become skeptical of the US being involved in Ukraine.

Another Joe Biden Lie: Claims He Formed 'Quad' Alliance with India, Japan, Australia (Trump Did in 2017)
President Biden falsely claimed credit for establishing the Quad alliance, a diplomatic association of the United States, Australia, India, and Japan. Fox News: Jake Sullivan pressed on Syria drone strike after US walks back claim it killed major al Qaeda leader
Jake Sullivan pressed on Syria drone strike after US walks back claim it killed major al Qaeda leader
White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan refused to comment on an alleged botched US missile strike in Syria that killed a civilian father of 10 tending sheep until a Pentagon investigation is complete. After CNN's Jake Tapper pressed Sullivan on the matter, he insisted that President Biden is committed to accountability and oversight regarding potential civilian casualties from counterterrorism strikes. The Biden administration launched a policy on counterterrorism air strikes in October that requires a "near certainty" to attack a suspected terrorist, but this policy only applies to countries not deemed conventional war zones, which Syria is considered to be.

Anonymous military officials have said that the Pentagon is no longer certain that a senior AQ official was killed in the May strike in Syria that killed a civilian father of 10 tending sheep, according to The Washington Post. The officials claimed that the government believed the missile attack missed its target but struck an al-Qaida supporter, adding that the Pentagon is investigating the incident. The Biden administration has announced a policy on counterterrorism air strikes that demands "near certainty" before launching an attack on a suspected terrorist, although this policy is only in effect in countries not considered conventional war zones.

National Review: Biden Says He Has Authority to Invoke 14th Amendment as Debt-Ceiling Negotiations Stumble
Biden Says He Has Authority to Invoke 14th Amendment as Debt-Ceiling Negotiations Stumble
Biden is considering invoking the 14th Amendment to raise the debt ceiling, a move that has previously been ruled out. He claims he has the authority, but many constitutional scholars argue that it is unconstitutional. Negotiations over the debt ceiling have faltered, and some Republicans accuse Biden of caving to pressure from the left wing of his party. Senator Bill Cassidy argues that Biden should focus on cutting a deal rather than considering unconstitutional proposals. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy claims that negotiations have gone in the wrong direction and argues that Biden is proposing dangerous spending measures.

Van Hollen: MAGA GOP 'Threatening to Blow Up the Economy if We Don't Do Things Exactly Their Way'
Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) accuses Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) of negotiating with the Biden administration like "MAGA Republicans" and threatening to cause an economic catastrophe by not doing things their way on the debt ceiling. Van Hollen warns that defaulting on the debt ceiling would result in an economic depression, whereas going through a recession is predicted with the 14th Amendment. McCarthy has a weak control over his caucus, and Trump is egging them on to not give in. President Biden is not threatening to blow up the economy if things don’t go his way.

Fox News: Ted Cruz accuses Biden of 'scaremongering' on debt ceiling as Biden complains of 'MAGA Republicans'
Ted Cruz accuses Biden of 'scaremongering' on debt ceiling as Biden complains of 'MAGA Republicans'
Sen. Ted Cruz accuses President Biden of scaremongering about the debt ceiling and being unwilling to negotiate with Republicans, instead opting to "tank the economy." Biden suggested he could use the 14th Amendment to unilaterally increase the debt ceiling, but Cruz and others dispute its legality. Republicans have pushed Biden to the negotiating table after months of resistance from the White House. Biden says he's "done his part" and accuses "MAGA Republicans" of seeking to cause a default to hurt his re-election chances.

Daily Wire: Yellen Says ‘Low’ Odds Of U.S. Paying All Bills Past Mid-June Without Debt Ceiling Deal
Yellen Says ‘Low’ Odds Of U.S. Paying All Bills Past Mid-June Without Debt Ceiling Deal
The US will likely be unable to pay all its bills without a debt ceiling deal by mid-June, according to Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen. Talks between the White House and Congress appear to have hit a snag, and Yellen believes the odds of reaching June 15th while being able to pay all bills is low. The earliest a default could happen is in June, leading to severe hardship for American families and damage to trust in its ability to defend national security interests.
