Meanwhile, horse trainer Bob Baffert's horse Havnameltdown also had to be euthanized on the track after suffering an injury during the Preakness Stakes undercard in Baltimore, Maryland. Baffert has previously been implicated in drugging scandals and has seen at least 75 horses in his care die. National Treasure, another Baffert-trained horse, won the Preakness Stakes on Saturday.
