Radical Islam Is the Biggest Terrorism Threat in Europe: French Minister
Radical Sunni Islam is the biggest terror threat to Europe, says French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin during a visit to the US to discuss security for the upcoming Paris Olympics. Darmanin urged the US to tighten its security relationship with France, stressing that anti-terrorist collaboration between intelligence services is essential. He stated that the Western withdrawals from Afghanistan and the Sahel region of Africa is giving extremist Muslims more room to operate in the region, which could lead to a resurgence of a significant Islamist terror threat in Europe.

Illegal entries in Italy have nearly tripled this year, with over 26,000 migrants entering in the first three months. Analysts predict that this will cause a surge in radical Sunni Islam terror threats, echoing the migrant crisis that coincided with a spate of deadly terror attacks in France, including the Bataclan attacks in Paris which killed 130 people. French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin has warned of a re-emergence of a significant Islamist terror threat in Europe in the coming months and years.

Democratic lawmaker clashes with CNN host after question about heckling George Santos: 'CNN, y'all trippin'
Jamaal Bowman, a Democrat representing New York, was questioned by CNN's Erin Burnett about his recent yelling at a Republican representative to resign. Bowman believed Burnett's question framed him as a Black man who wasn't allowed to raise his voice. He also defended his behavior and expressed the need for healthy debate and dialogue in a democracy. Burnett disagreed and stated that it was a fair question since yelling at someone being interviewed by reporters wasn't exactly respectful. Bowman and Rep. Thomas Massie had previously engaged in a heated debate about gun violence in March.

F-16 Jets to Ukraine: Russian Minister Warns of ‘Escalation Scenario’
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko has warned Western countries that supplying F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine carries enormous risks, including the potential to raise tensions between the countries and Russia. The Biden administration has become more open to allowing Ukraine to use F-16s, but has avoided granting that request thus far due to concerns that such a move could escalate tensions with Russia. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has welcomed the US decision "to support an international fighter jet coalition" and hopes to discuss the practical implementation of this decision at the summit in Hiroshima.

The Epoch Times: Biden Criticizes Republican Proposal on Debt Ceiling, Says He Won't Accept 'Partisan Terms'
Biden Criticizes Republican Proposal on Debt Ceiling, Says He Won't Accept 'Partisan Terms'
President Biden spoke out against Republicans' "extreme positions" during negotiations on the US debt ceiling, claiming that their proposals were "unacceptable." His comments, made during a press conference at the G-7 summit held in Hiroshima, Japan, came after accusations from House Speaker Kevin McCarthy that the White House was backtracking on talks. The negotiations have stalled, with both sides unable to reach an agreement, and there is a possibility that the United States will be unable to pay its bills as early as June 1. The Republicans are advocating longer-term spending cuts, while the White House opposes the Republican plan, calling the proposals potentially harmful.

Breitbart: White People Told They Are Not Welcome at BLM-Inspired Play
White People Told They Are Not Welcome at BLM-Inspired Play
The Theatre Royal Stratford East in London caused controversy by encouraging white people to stay away from a performance of Tambo & Bones on Black Out night, to offer a safe space for black people to experience and discuss the production free from the 'white gaze'. The play tells the story of two African Americans who begin as minstrels and become part of the Marxist Black Lives Matter movement. Some commentators, including Festus Akinbusoye, Britain's first black police and crime commissioner, criticised the move.

However, director Matthew Xia defended the decision, stating that safe spaces should be created in productions that tackle race-related issues head-on. A spokesperson for the theatre suggested that the decision, based on a concept used successfully in several Broadway productions, should be upheld as a 'space for black audiences to experience the play as a community'.

Regular training can make children adept at these lifesaving actions by middle school. Research has indicated that school-aged children are highly motivated to learn these skills and often pass on what they’ve learned to others. Given that the odds of surviving cardiac arrest outside a hospital setting range from 2 percent to 20 percent globally, learning these skills can be crucial for families.

Breitbart: UK Army Gurkha First Above-Knee Double Amputee to Scale Everest
UK Army Gurkha First Above-Knee Double Amputee to Scale Everest
Gurkha veteran and double above-the-knee amputee, Hari Budha Magar, has become the first of his kind to climb Everest, having reached the top on Friday. Magar had lost his legs when he stepped on an improvised explosive device in Afghanistan in 2010. After being fitted with prosthetic legs, Magar had kayaked around the Isle of Wight and climbed several peaks. However, he was prevented from climbing Everest for years due to a Nepalese law banning double amputees from mountaineering. The law was quashed in 2018, and Magar has now accomplished his goal, having also climbed Mont Blanc and Ben Nevis.
