Newsbusters: FLASHBACK: David Letterman and the Liberal Politics of Late Night
FLASHBACK: David Letterman and the Liberal Politics of Late Night
Late night shows have become a platform for liberal politicians, with a shocking 77-to-4 ratio of liberal to conservative guests so far this year. While critics argue that shows like Late Night were never meant to be forums of democracy, politicians saw an opportunity to reach millions of Americans. The trend began with liberal hosts like Letterman, who used their clout to promote their views and beliefs. Despite claiming to be nonpartisan, Letterman frequently used his platform to promote liberal politicians and ridicule Republicans over issues like gun control.

Elon Musk has demanded that the Associated Press back up their assertion that false claims of stolen elections thrive unchecked on Twitter or retract the article. The article cited an interview with Musk on CNBC, in which he promised that inaccurate tweets regarding election fraud would be corrected. Musk believes there was some election fraud in the 2020 election but clarified that he does not believe it was a stolen election. The Associated Press cited an analysis by Zignal Labs that identified the ten most widely shared tweets promoting a rigged election narrative, which had no notes attached. Trump reiterated his views that the 2020 election was stolen during a town hall on CNN.

Punk Leftist Tries to Ambush Lauren Boebert, Watch How Ex-Cop Clay Higgins Saves the Day
Self-proclaimed far-left activist Jake Burdett was forcibly removed by Louisiana Representative Clay Higgins from a Republican news conference in Washington after attempting to troll multiple Republican speakers. Burdett claimed he was "currently being detained by DC Police for asking tough questions to far-right extremist Congressmen", but Higgins called him a "103M" -- a police code for "disturbance by a mental person". Burdett was visiting Capitol Hill with the Maryland Progressive Healthcare Coalition to support the reintroduction of the Medicare for All Act. Burdett's “tough questions” were directed at Republicans, separately asking them about an ad released during the 2020 election cycle, whether a divorce filing was related to a food poisoning incident at a local restaurant, and a conference hosted by far-right fringe figure Nick Fuentes. The incident was recorded by Burdett and has been circulated on social media, with some supporters believing that the incident was an improper use of force against a protester.

Investing in value funds and balancing a portfolio between growth and value investment options is the recommended strategy.

61% of Americans Say AI Threatens Humanity as Enthusiasts Push Ahead
A recent Reuters/Ipsos poll found that 61% of Americans fear AI is a threat to humanity's future. Over two-thirds of those polled worry about the technology's negative effects, especially as government and big tech have weaponized it for censorship and surveillance purposes. Despite some tech enthusiasts' belief that AI will raise the quality of life, the fear is that it will likely take humans' jobs and facilitate totalitarianism. The question remains, what is the solution to prevent a dystopian future?
