The debt ceiling debate rages on, with the goal being to get the GOP to fold as soon as possible. The debt wouldn't be an issue if we could pile it up faster, and few countries have a debt ceiling at all. The debt limit is just a tool for the Right to slow spending, but the real question is when will the debt ceiling debate truly end? The answer is we must get creative about putting our finances in order.
We are riding the tiger when it comes to debt, and the Republicans are holding world finance hostage. The debt is excessive and drags down GDP growth, and we're not building dams or highways with these deficits. The debt is holding up spending already voted on, and it's time we get serious and ingenious about putting our finances in order. The debt ceiling debate will end when we either prioritize and quit letting politicians avoid their duty, or continue partying in the bunker as inevitable default closes a circle around us.
The Epoch Times: Court Rules That California Race Law Is ‘Unconstitutional on Its Face’
A California district court blocked a state law mandating racial quotas on corporate boards that violated the U.S. Constitution. The law required a minimum number of individuals from “designated racial, ethnic, and LGBTQ backgrounds” to have a seat on corporate boards, but the court ruling stated that the law “is unconstitutional on its face and Plaintiff is entitled to summary judgment in its favor as a matter of law.” The plaintiff in the case was the Alliance for Fair Board Recruitment. The ruling will likely set a precedent for both government race laws and corporations that set racial quotas.

- The similarities between the Democrat party and the National Socialist German Workers' Party (Nazi) are startling. Both parties are obsessed with gun confiscation, are collectivists, and prioritize centralized control for the "common good." They see force as means to their political power, are proponents of single-party systems, and are fascistic. The Democrats' push for totalitarian state structure and a single party makes them too similar to the Nazis, and they must be opposed with cultural guerrilla warfare every step of the way.

Fox News: Texas House advances bill to ban sexual acts in front of minors after removing mention of drag
The Texas House advanced Senate Bill 12 which restricts sexually oriented performances on public property or in the presence of children under 18. Originally aimed at drag shows, it now prohibits simulated or actual sexual acts from being done in front of minors, with a $10k fine for owners who violate the rule. The bill is designed to go into effect in September.
Additionally, Texas is also one step closer to restricting medical treatment for trans kids with the legislature having passed Senate Bill 1646 yesterday. The bill bans gender-affirming procedures, such as hormone therapy, for trans youth. If passed by Governor Greg Abbott, doctors who provide such care could face disciplinary action.

Fox News: Ukrainian President Zelenskyy arrives in Japan for 2023 G-7 Summit: 'Peace will become closer today'
Ukrainian President Zelenskyy arrived in Japan for talks with G-7 leaders on security and cooperation. The G-7 reaffirmed their commitment to support Ukraine against Russia's aggression and will provide F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine and train pilots. Zelenskyy will participate in two sessions focusing on the war in Ukraine and peace/stability. The program will include F-16 training among other fighter planes, set to take place in Europe over the coming months. Zelenskyy's trip to Japan marks his longest trip since Russia's invasion in Ukraine in 2022.
Euromaidan Press: White House reveals conditions of supplying F-16s to Ukraine
The USA has agreed to supply Ukraine with F-16 fighter jets, but White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan clarified that they cannot be used to strike targets within Russia. This comes after President Joe Biden expressed concern that the F-16s could escalate the conflict between Ukraine and Russia. Ukraine’s top generals argue that they need long-range striking capabilities equal to Russia's and the ability to attack Russian airfields to win the war. Ukrainian strikes inside Russia have so far been conducted using domestically-made drones.
