Flag And Cross: 'Disturbing' Biden Video Resurfaces: What's He Doing Holding Hands with These 2 Children?
'Disturbing' Biden Video Resurfaces: What's He Doing Holding Hands with These 2 Children?
President Biden has been criticized for walking into the Oval Office with two children holding his hands. The video, which recently resurfaced on social media, was from Take Your Child to Work Day in April and originally posted by a Polish White House correspondent. Many people found the footage disturbing due to Biden's past history of inappropriate behavior with women and children. However, it's unclear who was with the children in the Oval Office or who requested permission for the boy to go in. Biden released a non-apology apology in 2019 following allegations of violating personal space and promised to be more respectful in the future, but his behavior still raises concerns.

Republican Rep. Says Major Bank Gave Private Financial Data To FBI For Anyone In D.C. Around Jan 6
Bank of America provided the FBI with private financial information of anyone who was in Washington, D.C. from Jan 5-7, 2021, regardless of whether they participated in the Jan 6 events, says North Carolina Republican Dan Bishop. The move was apparently in response to widespread surveillance by the federal government of Americans, including those not accused of any wrongdoing on Jan 6. The Bank of America denied any wrongdoing. Republicans are calling for more protections for the liberty of Americans, decrying the violation of financial privacy as dangerous and unacceptable.

In Nebraska, Democratic Senator Machaela Cavanaugh screamed and slapped the podium in an unhinged rant in favor of transpeople, invoking God to support her argument.

Russia's Wagner Chief Claims Victory in Bakhmut, Ukraine Denies Defeat
The head of Russia’s Wagner mercenary group claims to have fully captured the Ukrainian city of Bakhmut, but officials have denied this and say fighting continues. Yevgeny Prigozhin announced that his forces had taken every building in the city and would remain there until Thursday before handing control over to the Russian defence ministry. The UK’s Ministry of Defence (MoD) believes that Russia’s redeployment of several battalions to reinforce its efforts in Bakhmut, following an embarrassing retreat this month, highlights the city’s most critical strategic importance.

Rep. Gallagher: Biden Admin Holding Back Sanctions on China Is 'Troubling'
House China Select Committee Chairman Mike Gallagher (R-WI) criticized the Biden administration for holding back on sanctions against China after the spy balloon incident, calling it "troubling" and "scandalous." Gallagher claimed that the administration's strategy of being nice to China in hopes of moderating their behavior had failed once again. He also criticized the administration for downplaying the incident and hiding its existence until citizens saw it in the sky. Officials told Reuters that holding back on export licensing rules for Huawei and Uyghur-related sanctions had damaged morale at China House.

Spectator USA: Martin Amis's death is the end of a great British comic tradition
Martin Amis's death is the end of a great British comic tradition
Martin Amis, known for his distinctive and distinguished literary legacy, has died at 73 due to esophageal cancer. Although he had a great love for cinema, his novels were not adapted into successful films except for The Zone of Interest. He will be remembered as a rare talent as a non-fiction writer, producing incisive and peerlessly witty critiques. Amis was one of the last members of a rapidly vanishing literary tradition that seems unlikely to be recaptured. He spent his final days in Florida, reflecting on both English and American culture.

The Epoch Times: Embracing Everything: The Music of Gustav Mahler
Embracing Everything: The Music of Gustav Mahler
Gustav Mahler, despite composing only during summer holidays due to his day job as a conductor, managed to shake up the symphonic form by taking immensity and intensity to new levels, utilizing 170 players, solo singers, and three huge choirs in some of his works. His music often incorporates unusual instruments and special effects, and his symphonies are known for being longer than most, running up to 90 minutes, with even the Guinness Book of World Records recognizing No. 3 as the longest in the standard repertoire. While some criticize his music as too long, loud, and excessive, Mahler persevered through poor reception from critics and resurrected his symphonies through concerts to become one of the most celebrated composers today.

Fox News: Are you a mosquito magnet? It might be for one unpleasant reason
Are you a mosquito magnet? It might be for one unpleasant reason
New research has revealed that some people smell more attractive to mosquitoes than others. The pesky insects are drawn to body odor and can detect it from 350 feet away. The study conducted by John Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, involved releasing 200 mosquitoes each night into an outdoor testing arena in Zambia, heated to 35ºC, mimicking human skin. The aroma of six volunteers sleepingin single-person tests for six consecutive nights, enabled scientists to record the mosquitoes' preferences and collect air samples from the tents, to compare airborne components of body odor. The study found that carboxylic acids produced by skin microbes, rather than CO2, was the more attractive bait. In addition, researchers found a certain cocktail of chemicals present in the volunteers, with ratios specific to individuals, was more attractive to mosquitoes than others ares, and it could lead to the development of more effective repellents and traps.

The Epoch Times: Should You Stretch Before or After Exercise, or Both?
Should You Stretch Before or After Exercise, or Both?
Scientific evidence does not support the theory that stretching before exercise prevents injury. Most injuries occur during eccentric contraction within a normal range of motion, making increasing range of motion before exercise unlikely to prevent injury. Stretching may actually increase pain tolerance, potentially encouraging injury. Studies show that warming up muscles before exercise helps prevent injuries, and aerobic exercises such as squats, jumping jacks, cycling, and walking are simple ways to increase circulation and blood flow to muscles. After exercise, active recovery or active cool-down techniques such as light weightlifting, mild yoga, cycling, walking, rowing, or swimming are better than stretching to prevent pain and injury.

The Federalist Papers: Video: Al Sharpton Takes Disgusting Swipe at DeSantis During Jordan Neely's Funeral
Video: Al Sharpton Takes Disgusting Swipe at DeSantis During Jordan Neely's Funeral
The left is trying to turn a career criminal who died after being placed in a chokehold into a social justice martyr, just like they did with George Floyd. Rev. Al Sharpton gave a eulogy at the funeral and took the occasion to snipe at Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, despite the fact that his comments about DeSantis’ education policies are simply untrue. The left seems to have a thing for making heroes and victims out of violent criminals. It is time to end this valorization of criminals and return America to the rule of law and order.

Despite witness accounts of Neely’s erratic and aggressive behavior toward other passengers, the Manhattan DA still chose to file criminal charges against Daniel Penny, the Marine veteran who placed him in a chokehold. Meanwhile, criminals are still running amok in the streets because progressive DAs refuse to do their jobs. The left is exploiting sad cases like this to score political points instead of addressing the actual issues that are leading to them. It's time to end this and return America to the rule of law and order.

The Epoch Times: Interview With Pro-Life Activist Whose Mother Was Visited by FBI
Interview With Pro-Life Activist Whose Mother Was Visited by FBI
FBI agents visited the mother of a young pro-life activist, Tracy Ketch, in Virginia in April 2022, to inquire about information that was sent to them, according to doorbell footage that went viral. Ketch is a member of the left-leaning Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising (PAAU) and suspects they wanted to intimidate her because of her activism and her association with Lauren Handy, who protests against the Federal Access to Clinic Entrances Act. Handy and eight others are currently facing charges from the Department of Justice for allegedly violating the act related to the Surgi-Clinic protest and trying to persuade women to not follow through with their planned abortions. The Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act makes it a criminal offense to use force, physical obstruction, or intimidation to block access to "reproductive health care services."
