Fox News: Whistleblowers slam FBI’s ‘nefarious’ weaponization, say other agents are ‘too afraid’ of getting ‘crushed’
Whistleblowers slam FBI’s ‘nefarious’ weaponization, say other agents are ‘too afraid’ of getting ‘crushed’
Former FBI special agents Garret O'Boyle and Steve Friend testified that the FBI is being "weaponised" for political gain and exposed the Bureau's "nefarious" politicisation while appearing on Fox News' "Fox & Friends Weekend." O'Boyle has said that "a lot" of agents share these concerns, but many are afraid of being punished by the government. The whistleblowers testified before Congress last week to express their concern, and told Fox News that they were the victims of retaliation for speaking out. The co-host of the show asked O'Boyle what the "tipping point" was, to which the agent responded that it was more of a "summation of things that it was repetitive inside the FBI where it was like, this seems wrong, this seems wrong, that seems wrong."

Breitbart: Minnesota Governor Signs Same Gun Controls Failing in California
Minnesota Governor Signs Same Gun Controls Failing in California
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz signs gun control laws, including red flag laws and universal background checks, which are already failing to prevent mass shootings in California. Despite California having similar gun controls in place, the state led the nation in active shooter incidents in 2021. Red flag laws in Illinois and Colorado have also failed to stop gun violence in those states. Critics argue that such laws fail to address the root causes of gun violence.

Red State: The Media Turns Cartoonish, With Its Accusations of DeSantis Exceeding Prior Hysterics About Republicans
The Media Turns Cartoonish, With Its Accusations of DeSantis Exceeding Prior Hysterics About Republicans
The press struggles to cover Ron DeSantis as they resort to hyperbole to describe him. Many news outlets have recently published exaggerated descriptions of the Florida governor, such as Time Magazine's glowering portrayal of him and Politico's use of Roger Stone as a source to slam his wife. The Huffington Post published a profile meant to demean him, but instead made him sound better, which revealed the media's overreliance on describing any emerging Republican or GOP contender for higher office as being “the worst we have ever faced.” This hyperbole is becoming repetitive and desperate, indicating the challenge the press faces in describing DeSantis.

The media has reached the limit of their promised venality, having compared George Bush to Hitler and Republican candidates John McCain and Mitt Romney to Nazis. During the Trump era, the press compared him to Hitler numerous times, resulting in the phrase “literally worse than Hitler” becoming commonplace. Now, with DeSantis, the press struggles to find new ways to criticize him without repeating past hyperbole. A recent profile from The Huffington Post describes DeSantis as a beast of a governor and speculates that the next level of criticism may be to describe a Republican candidate as “literally Thanos”. This hyperbole shows the press's struggle to cover DeSantis and the challenge they face in being taken seriously in the future.

Joe Biden Appears Guilty of What Democrats Are Accusing Justice Thomas of Doing Three Times This Year
President Biden reportedly took three free trips to the homes of wealthy businesspeople but did not disclose them in his annual financial disclosure form, according to a report from the New York Post. Two of the three trips were free of charge, while the third was suspected to be, but the Post was unable to confirm this. In his annual disclosure form, Biden reported accepting “no gifts of any kind.” The report has raised criticism of the president’s inconsistency in not disclosing the visits, particularly since this wasn’t the first time he’s stayed at the homes of these individuals.
