A Palestinian man from Huwara has turned himself in to Israeli authorities after allegedly spitting on an IDF officer on a bus in Bat Yam. National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir emphasized a "zero tolerance" policy for attacks on soldiers, while the IDF Chief of Staff condemned the incident.
The officer, Cpt. Tamar Galliduani, expressed her discomfort over the attack and highlighted the lack of intervention from other passengers. The police have warned that they will locate the suspect if he does not cooperate.
