Fox News: Alabama legislators advance anti-ESG investment bill

He said he put pro-life states in a "powerful negotiating position" after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade last year. Trump continued to criticize Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis over his signing of a six-week abortion ban and referred to him as "Ron DeSanctimonious." In response, DeSantis said the ban has widespread support. Trump leads in a poll of likely New Hampshire Republican primary voters with 39% of support.

The Federalist Papers: Bud Light Now Losing Libs Too as Parent Company Is Stripped of 'LGBTQ+' Rating
Anheuser-Busch removed from LGBT rating for allegedly not taking a strong enough pro-LGBT stance, and is also facing a nationwide boycott for partnering with transgender social media influencer Dylan Mulvaney. The company made a series of condescending half-measures to win back conservative drinkers, but nothing so far has helped end the boycott of the beer. The LGBT group that evaluates companies' policies for LGBTQ+ employees has announced they have suspended Anheuser-Busch's Corporate Equality Index score, however the index is seen as more of an extortion racket. The company has 90 days to respond or it will risk having its score reduced from 100.

Democrats and civil rights groups have criticised the bill, while transgender activists argue that access to such care is necessary to protect vulnerable young people. In all, 15 states have passed or introduced such measures this year.

Liberty Nation: Cozier Sino-Russian Alliance a Threat to Europe and Indo-Pacific
China and Russia are forming a strong military and economic alliance that poses a threat to the west, including Europe and the Indo-Pacific region. Beijing is trying to play a significant role in European national relationships and is attempting to drive a wedge between NATO allies. The alliance offers Russia and China mutually beneficial diplomatic, economic and military capabilities to challenge the West and Indo-Pacific region. The EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum in Stockholm concluded that the Sino-Russian alliance is a security problem for nations worldwide. Chinese media has disclosed that the PLAN has been engaging in manoeuvres in the Sea of Japan, sending a message to Japan following comments about Taiwan. The increasing military activities surrounding Taiwan, joint flights for their bombers and joint naval exercises reinforce the threat to global security. The foreign ministries of Europe and the Indo-Pacific have concluded that the Sino-Russian alliance imperils their countries, and it is no longer a case of separating the Indo-Pacific region from Europe.

The Epoch Times: US Inching Towards Recession as Leading Index Declines Again in April
The American economy is heading towards a mild recession by mid-2023 due to significant turning points in the business cycle. The Federal Reserve’s interest rate hikes are a major factor causing recession concerns, as it pushes up the cost of consumer and business loans, leading investors to worry. The probability of the United States slipping into a recession within the next year stands at 68.2 percent, which is the highest since 1982. There is a growing consensus that America will fall into a recession this year due to a further tightening in credit conditions triggered by acute bank stress.

He faces Republican challenger Daniel Cameron, who is supported by the Trump administration and touts his endorsement of coal production. The election could provide insight into voter sentiment heading into the 2024 U.S. elections, with some areas lagging behind in employment opportunities, especially in coal-producing counties suffering from the loss of mining jobs.

The New American: To Save Your Soul and Nation, Stop Listening to Pop Music Now
In a society where physical health is emphasized, little attention is paid to the impact of music on the mind. Music is a powerful tool, indicative of a society's state. The establishment weaponizes music and promotes relativism, attacking the objective standards of goodness, truth, and beauty. As a result, most pop music is spiritual garbage, with negative lyrics that feed into the subconscious. To connect to the divine, contemplate beautiful art and music and reject artistic junk food that poisons the soul. Cut off globalist psychological conditioning and switch off the radio.

Fox News: Wisconsin conservatives vote to set aside $125 million to combat PFAS pollution
Wisconsin Republicans voted to set aside $125 million to combat pollution from PFAS chemicals, though they delayed a decision on how exactly to spend the money. The influx of money to deal with PFAS pollution comes after Republicans for years have declined to spend as much on water pollution as Democratic Gov. Tony Evers has called for. PFAS, or per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, are man-made chemicals that don’t easily break down in nature and have been linked to health problems, including low birth weight, cancer, and liver disease. Democrats faulted Republicans for not specifying what the $125 million should be spent on, saying they feared it would sit unused or at least delay action.
