Liberty Nation: Populist Anger Against Illegal Immigration Popping Up Everywhere
Populist Anger Against Illegal Immigration Popping Up Everywhere
Unchecked illegal immigration represents "economic warfare" against working-class Americans, says Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH). As the southern border buckles under a wave of humanity fueled by Title 42 expirations, citizens are realizing the threat posed to communities and basic American living standards. Working-class outrage is coming from the Democrat voter base, with minority residents of Democrat-dominated cities like Chicago and New York reciting "hateful, xenophobic" words. The cheap labor lobby is why the US has this problem, driving down American wages and driving up the costs of housing when interest rates are already high.

PJ Media: The Morning Briefing: The Dumb Joe Club—Biden Is Chatting Up Scarborough Late at Night
The Morning Briefing: The Dumb Joe Club—Biden Is Chatting Up Scarborough Late at Night
MSNBC host Joe Scarborough claims to have late-night phone calls with President Biden to compare notes and offer feedback. Scarborough has never revealed the contents of these discussions on his show, which would be of significant public interest. Scarborough, a former conservative congressman, is now a typical leftist MSM hack, and his credibility is highly suspect. Meanwhile, Democrats in the mainstream media continue to deny their bias and rub the public's noses in it.

CNN's Christiane Amanpour Joins the Chorus in Whining About Trump Town Hall, Blasting the Boss
CNN employees, including CEO Chris Licht, faced backlash for allowing former President Donald Trump to appear in a town hall on the network. Journalists at CNN expressed their outrage at the decision, with some calling for viewers to boycott the network. Christiane Amanpour, a longtime CNN correspondent, criticized Licht and called for censorship of the former president, claiming that the media had already told the Trump story. Her speech to Columbia School of Journalism graduates implied that reporters should be truthful, but not neutral. She was met with applause from the graduating class for her views. The speech sparked controversy over censorship and journalism ethics.

Whistleblowers Allege FBI Dirty Tricks on Capitol Hill
FBI whistleblowers testified before the House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, outlining allegations of mismanagement and improper practices within the Bureau. A report by the subcommittee described allegations of pressuring agents to open more cases and pursue manufactured domestic violent extremism cases, as well as targeting Capitol Hill protesters without evidence of wrongdoing and obtaining bank records of possible Jan. 6 protesters without subpoenas. Democrats attempted to undermine the legitimacy of the whistleblowers during the hearing. The report highlights the urgent need for transparency and accountability at the FBI.

Foreign Policy: What Does Turkey’s Election Mean for the World?
What Does Turkey’s Election Mean for the World?
Turkish President Erdogan won a plurality of votes, but not a majority, which means it will go to a run-off election. Although his opponent, Kemal Kilicdaroglu, promised a more democratic, pro-NATO foreign policy, Erdogan's transactional nature and self-interest mean that the U.S. will likely have to continue working with him. Despite the growing tensions between the Russian government and Roman Lenkov's private military contractors, there has been no sign of a major push from Ukrainian forces. Experts believe the Ukrainians are attempting to surprise the Russians with the timing of their counteroffensive, with Western funding and support remaining strong. However, recent leaks reveal that Ukrainian President Zelensky has proposed extreme measures such as blowing up an oil pipeline and seizing Russian towns. Despite these proposals, the Ukrainian forces should focus on defending themselves from attacking Russian forces and military supply lines.

The Amish and electric bikes: How some groups make the transportation method fit into their faith
Some Amish communities are adopting electric bicycles for transportation, and use of limited electricity is acceptable within Amish communities. While some Amish groups do not allow any bicycles at all, other communities have embraced e-bikes as a faster and environmentally-friendly means of travel. This shift might surprise non-Amish Americans who believe all Amish communities are against electricity and technology for religious reasons, but that is not true for all members.

FBI Office Running The Hunter Probe Failed The Russia-Hoax Test
The FBI lost Russian Igor Danchenko during their investigation into Hunter Biden, according to John Durham’s special counsel report. Danchenko was opened as a confidential human source, but his FBI handler failed to document Danchenko's suspicious history. Durham revealed that Danchenko, who was Christopher Steele’s primary sub-source, had been the subject of a counterespionage investigation, and that he had approached researchers at Brookings with an offer to sell classified information. Despite this, the FBI chose to open Danchenko as a CHS, paying him hundreds of thousands of dollars for the fraud he helped perpetrate on the country.

Oregon Democratic Party fined after wrongly reporting $500K donation from FTX executive
The Democratic Party of Oregon has been fined $15,000 and put under financial disclosure monitoring for wrongly reporting the source of a $500,000 donation from disgraced cryptocurrency exchange, FTX. Oregon officials initially proposed a $35,000 fine, but lowered it after a settlement agreement. If the party doesn't comply with the settlement, it could face a $50,000 fine. The investigation didn't find clear evidence that the party knew about the true donor, but determined the party could have complied better. Former FTX executive Nishad Singh made the donation in question, which was reported as being from Prime Trust. Singh pleaded guilty to charges including fraud and making unlawful political contributions.

The Federalist: BLM Rules Will Fundamentally Transform Public Land Management
BLM Rules Will Fundamentally Transform Public Land Management
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is proposing a new framework for “conservation leases” that prioritize preservation over grazing and development on federal lands. The rules outline protections for undefined terms, which could restrict access to public lands to ranchers and limit the future exercise of valid existing rights benefiting grazing and development. The proposal also allows third-party NGOs to lease out parcels of federal property to cut off other uses for decades. This policy appears to come straight from BLM Director Tracy Stone-Manning’s graduate thesis and may jeopardize the nation’s health by taking out regenerative ranching.
