Fox News: Obama, Clapper were briefed on reports of Clinton campaign's Russia collusion narrative, Durham report shows
Former President Obama and intelligence officials were briefed on reports that Hillary Clinton planned to link Donald Trump to Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, according to the final report from the Trump-Russia Special Counsel John Durham's investigation. Durham found no information to suggest that Trump colluded with Russia, and the FBI and the Department of Justice failed to obey the law. The intelligence on Clinton's alleged plan was shared with Obama, James Clapper, among others. The report contradicts claims from Democrats in Congress and media critics who had claimed for years that Trump colluded with Russia.
Breitbart: Gaetz: 'We Have to Get the FBI out of Washington, D.C.'
Matt Gaetz called for defanging and defunding the FBI and relocating it out of D.C., citing the Durham report. He added that the FBI has been weaponized and is violating the law and the Constitution.
American Thinker: Democrat in-fighting reveals that Dianne Feinstein’s true health problems
Nancy Pelosi is trying to keep Dianne Feinstein in the Senate, despite her poor health and mental condition, in order to help Adam Schiff's Senate run. Feinstein's health is deteriorating due to brain damage and brain inflammation. Pelosi is actively involved in Feinstein's decision to continue in the Senate, hoping it will give Schiff a leg up, instead of trying to help her old friend retire gracefully.
The New American: RFK, Jr.: Authentic Americanism That Loves Liberty, Loathes Lockdowns, Upbraids Abe - The New American
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. speaks about the difference between free-market capitalism and crony capitalism, arguing that the latter has led to the downfall of many authentic American communities. He also criticizes the Republican party's tendency to rely on talking points and promises seldom kept. Kennedy praises the Constitution and its foundational right of free speech, calling for due process of law and the release of political prisoners. He strongly opposed the lockdowns, which he claims decimated the American middle class and resulted in the highest excess death rate in the world. (, , )
Newsbusters: CBS/NBC Present Conflicting Narratives on Senator Feinstein’s Health
CBS and NBC presented conflicting narratives about California Senator Dianne Feinstein's health condition, with CBS questioning her health and whether she should resign, while NBC downplayed her condition and highlighted Democratic support for her. CBS highlighted Feinstein's recent complications from Ramsay Hunt Syndrome and encephalitis and questioned her ability to serve, while NBC noted that her illness was worse than previously known but highlighted that her Senate colleagues from both parties had defended her decision to serve out her term. CBS also raised suspicions about the support she was getting from prominent Democrats and questioned if a younger Feinstein would want herself in office.
The Epoch Times: Don’t Call It a Budget
California Governor Gavin Newsom's projected spending and income figures for 2023-2024 cannot be called a "budget," as it lacks the definition, funding, and action required of a budget. Budgeting methods used in local government include incremental, activity-based, value proposition, and zero-based budgeting, with the incremental method being the most commonly used in California. This approach, combined with activity-based and value-proposition methods, allows politicians to push for new programs without considering their future sustainability and costs, enabling them to exploit public funds for political expediency. This is a form of power grab that is contributing to the decline of California's state of affairs.
PJ Media: Techno-Hell: U.S. Government Rolls Out AI to Target 'Russian Disinformation'
Secretary of State Blinken admits using AI to combat "Russian disinformation," unveiling the State Department's AI-enabled online Ukraine Content Aggregator. While promoting independent media and digital literacy, Blinken also acknowledges that AI can amplify discrimination and enable abuses, and that the data on which it's trained can contain biases. This comes after the recently released Durham report found that Russiagate was a hoax and that the FBI had insufficient justification to launch its investigation, yet the U.S. government is rewarded with more social control powers via AI.

The Blaze: Fat TikTok influencer complains of 'discrimination' after she struggles to fit through airplane aisle
Plus-size influencer Big Curvy Olivia posted a viral TikTok video of her struggling to move down an airplane aisle due to her size. Red State: Lawyer: Woman Has 'Receipts' in Viral Citi Bike Incident, Media Will Be Held Accountable

Forbes: G7 Summit: F-16 Training For Ukraine And New Russia Sanctions Highlight First Day Of Talks
G7 leaders agree on further sanctions on Russia to limit its energy and industrial revenue used to fund the war campaign in Ukraine. However, the leaders note that their policies are not designed to thwart China's economic progress. Discussions around nuclear weapon programs in Russia, China, North Korea, and Iran also took place, calling upon commitment to the reduction and accumulation of such weapons. Meanwhile, anticipated conversations about fossil fuel reduction have yet to happen.
Foreign Policy: Holding Russia Accountable for War Crimes Is Harder Than It Looks
Ukraine is trying to bring war criminals to account while the war still rages against Russian soldiers in its territory. European Union countries, Ukraine's six Eastern European neighbours, and the International Criminal Court (ICC) are all gathering evidence of Russian war crimes in Ukraine such as mass executions of civilians and evidence of torture, with plans to prosecute them for war crimes. There are three possible options Western officials are considering as a route to holding Russia to account: the ICC, a new special tribunal, or a 'hybrid court' through which Ukraine's judiciary would work with international judges to try Russian officials and soldiers in Ukraine's own courts.

The Epoch Times: Regional Poll Highlights Moldova’s Shaky Position between EU and Russia
Moldova's Gagauzia region has elected a pro-Russia leader, Evghenia Gutul, who has expressed support for closer ties with Moscow. However, the central government, led by President Maia Sandu, opposes cooperation with Russia, condemned Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and halted the import of Russian natural gas. Gagauzia, peopled largely by ethnic Turks, have traditionally tilted towards Moscow. The election has highlighted the geopolitical position of tiny Moldova, which sits between Ukraine and NATO member Romania. It follows protests led by Moldova's pro-Russian Socialist Party, who accuse Sandu's government of driving Moldova into conflict with Russia.
Breitbart: Report: Journalists Hit with $25K Charges When Joe Biden Canceled Trip
President Joe Biden canceled the final part of his trip to Japan and Australia, leaving White House media groups with a bill. The trip was ended earlier than planned to return to the United States to continue negotiations about the debt ceiling, which left media groups with unrecoverable expenses, including the $760,000 cost of a charter flight. Journalists will lose deposits of $7,700 each, and incur unrecoverable reservations for costs such as hotels and ground transportation. The canceled trip unsettled leaders of Papua New Guinea who declared a public holiday to mark his visit to counter China's growing influence.
Breitbart: Report: Canada Gave $200,000 to Group Accused of Chinese Police Ties

The revelation comes amid raised tensions between Canada's far-left government and Beijing's Communist Party, which has established illegal police stations, similar in nature to those uncovered in Montreal, across the globe.

PJ Media: Disney Cancels $1 Billion Project in Florida, but Not for the Reason the Media Wants You to Believe
Disney canceled plans to move its Imagineering division from California to Florida, citing changing business conditions and leadership. The move had caused uproar among Imagineers who would have been forced to uproot their lives. The decision has been mischaracterized by some left-wing politicians and media outlets, who blame the feud between Disney and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, despite the fact that the cancellation was due to cost overruns and leadership changes within Disney. The company still plans to invest $17 billion in Florida over the next decade and create 13,000 new jobs.
Red State: Biden Drives the Country Closer to the Cliff After Debt Ceiling Talks Abruptly Shut Down
Debt ceiling talks stall due to President Biden's hubris, according to House Speaker Kevin McCarthy. Negotiations hit an impasse on Friday as McCarthy blames the White House for resisting spending cuts. McCarthy is asking for a return to 2022 spending levels with a one percent annual growth cap to avoid slashing major programs and putting the country on a path to outgrow the current deficit. If Republicans' offer is refused, they own the results.
The Epoch Times: What Voters Fear Most if Debt Ceiling Talks Fail and Default Comes Knocking
As the U.S. approaches the X-date, voters and markets fear the implications of defaulting on debt obligations. Credit default swaps reflect a 1.16% probability of default, making some jittery. Polling shows seven in ten voters think default would adversely affect the economy, including substantial drops in the stock market and increased borrowing costs. The majority is aware of the X-date, though just 39% think it could personally impact them. Although the two sides continue to bargain, there is currently no breakthrough in site and economists fear a failure to pay bond interest could result in significant economic stress sufficient to “take down the system”.
As evidenced by the Citigroup CEO and JPMorgan Chase CEO, finance leaders are becoming anxious about the looming deadline while Wall Street analysts fear recession risks as the probability of recession within the next year has skyrocketed to 68.2%. A recent poll shows the majority of Americans believe the country is headed for a recession. Furthermore, stagflation concerns are on the agenda as long-run inflation expectations reach 3.2%. Despite the ominous warnings, the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta’s real-time GDP estimate shows the positive sign of continuing moderate growth.
Daily Wire: Should This Author Change Careers And Become A Diversity, Equity, And Inclusion Counselor? It’s A Remarkably Lucrative ‘Job.’
Amidst economic uncertainty, some Americans have turned to becoming diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) managers for a reliable source of income. DEI has become a trendy executive-level position across various organizations, particularly in higher education institutions, offering six-figure salaries. However, a 2018 study showed that despite the enormous salary, CDOs didn’t actually increase diversity since they had no real power over diversity hiring practices. Another option for quick cash is the concept of “Race to Dinner,” where wealthy white women pay $2,500 to have a conversation about accepting their subconscious racism over dinner.
National Review: ‘Just Not Productive’: Republicans Walk Out of Debt-Ceiling Negotiations
Debt-ceiling talks were paused by Republican negotiators after blaming the White House for unreasonable demands. Talks have been ongoing since House Republicans narrowly passed a bill to raise the nation's $31.4 trillion debt ceiling by $1.5 trillion last month. President Biden and Senate Majority Leader Schumer are demanding a clean debt-ceiling increase without spending cuts, and negotiations will likely prove difficult.
Flag And Cross: France Welcomes Crypto Companies Seeking Refuge From US Regulators
France offers a regulatory framework to crypto companies, attracting those fleeing the US's regulatory uncertainty. Currently, France has around 74 registered crypto companies and may soon add up to 100 firms seeking to anticipate the EU's Markets in Crypto Assets rules.
The Economist: Could the 14th Amendment fix America’s debt-ceiling debacle?
As America hurtles towards its June 1st "X-date," President Biden and congressional Republicans continue to search for a deal to raise the debt ceiling. One possible solution is to declare the debt-ceiling unconstitutional, as Section 4 of the 14th Amendment says the "validity" of America's "public debt…shall not be questioned". This would be a constitutional workaround and was considered twice by former President Obama, but never put into practice. While some experts believe this would be the best way for Biden to preserve the separation of powers, others disagree, calling the idea "dangerous nonsense."
To avoid a potential economic disaster of defaulting on debts, some scholars are suggesting that the president could do "the least violence to the constitutional prerogatives of Congress," and issue enough extra debt to pay the bills, rather than trying a constitutional workaround. There are still risks to this approach, and legal challenges may arise, but it may be worth trying if it becomes clear that a deal with Congress is impossible.

Daily Wire: Bud Light Got Torched For Its Dylan Mulvaney Partnership, But Another Iconic Beer Brand’s Woke Ad Slipped Under The Radar
Bud Light's sales dropped 23.6% in the week ending May 6th, marking a fifth straight week of plummeting demand, following its partnership with transgender influencer and activist Dylan Mulvaney. Meanwhile, competing beer brand Miller Lite saw a 16.9% increase in sales and Coors Banquet saw a similar windfall. Molson Coors, Coors Banquet's parent company, released an advertisement for Coors Banquet last week featuring "Yellowstone" star Cole Hauser, which stressed Coors' rough-and-tumble reputation and showcased the company's social justice sympathies. Molson Coors' advertisement featuring female comedian Ilana Glazer from Women's History Month back in March resurfaced this week, which could potentially cause backlash, as it previously flew under the radar of conservatives.

The Epoch Times: Communing With Honeybees Is Creating a Buzz Over This Colorado Ranch
Capella Ranch in Lafayette offers bee therapy sessions in two wooden huts containing bee hives. These huts, the size of a walk-in closet, use screen mesh to keep the bees out while guests inhale the aerosol emitted by the hives. The aim of the therapy is to promote positive energy, and stress reduction. Proprietors Carolyn and Charlie Peterson stop short of making specific claims, but have reported an unusual calming and meditative effect, suggesting visitors experience a relaxation, humming and vibration that soothes to the parasympathetic system of the body. The honey produced on the farm is also available to be sold.
The Epoch Times: Am I Too Old to Build Muscle?
Sarcopenia, the progressive loss of muscle mass and strength as we age, affects up to 30% of adults over 60 and increases risk for chronic diseases, hospitalization, and loss of independence. Resistance training, such as lifting weights or doing bodyweight exercises, is the most effective way to build and strengthen muscle at any age. Even frail people over 75 can make significant gains in muscle mass and strength in as little as eight weeks of progressive resistance training at least twice a week. Combining resistance training with weight loss can prevent muscle and bone loss. It’s never too late to start training to fight sarcopenia.

Flag And Cross: Carnivorous Dinosaur Big As School Bus Unearthed
A new species of carnivorous dinosaur, named Protathlitis cinctorrensis, has been discovered in Spain. It was part of the spinosaur family, which suggests that these dinosaurs originally migrated from Europe and then went on to colonize Africa and Asia. Protathliris was identified from a jaw bone, tooth and five vertebrae recovered from a prehistoric animal graveyard in Valencia. The new dinosaur’s size was significant, measured at up to 35 feet long and 12 feet tall with a weight of five tons, and was identified as a close relative to the legendary Spinosaurus. The findings, published in the journal Scientific Reports, suggest a highly diverse community of dinosaurs in the Iberian Peninsula during the Early Cretaceous period.

Daily Wire: Social Media Influencers Sue Montana Over Statewide TikTok Ban
Several TikTok influencers filed a lawsuit against Montana over a recent ban on the video-sharing app, claiming it violates the First Amendment. Montana lawmakers passed a statute banning app stores from making TikTok available in the state, citing concerns that members of the Chinese Communist Party could access users' data. The lawsuit argues the state is violating free speech and lacks the authority to advance national security interests. The plaintiffs are influencers who earn money from their accounts and say the ban deprives them of property rights. Montana's Republican governor, Greg Gianforte, said the law aims to protect private data from being harvested by a hostile foreign power.
Forbes: Instagram Is Preparing A Twitter-Like App To Be Launched This Summer, Report Says
Instagram is preparing to launch a text-based app similar to Twitter in June, which will initially be tested by celebrities and influencers. Users can connect their Instagram accounts and follow all the same people they follow on Instagram with one click. The app will allow users to post up to 500 characters of text, as well as images and pictures. It may eventually be compatible with Mastodon and other Twitter alternatives.
Newsbusters: RETALIATION: TikTok Users Sue Montana over Ban of Chinese Gov’t-Tied App
TikTok users in Montana are suing the state after Governor Greg Gianforte signed a new law banning the app due to its ties to the Chinese Communist Party and its alleged risks to national security. The legislation, which is set to take effect on 1 January 2022, will fine TikTok for operating in Montana, as well as app store providers that offer TikTok in Montana, including Google and Apple. Five Montana residents have filed a lawsuit to stop the law, claiming a violation of First Amendment rights. The ban is the first of its kind in the US and follows criticism of the app over privacy and security concerns.
The TikTok users’ lawsuit claims that Montana’s ban on the app violates the First Amendment, but there are concerns over allegations that the Chinese Communist Party has access to user data. ByteDance, TikTok’s parent company, has been accused of being under Chinese state influence, and a former executive of the company has claimed that the party has direct access to US data. Both TikTok and ByteDance have also been criticised for biased censorship. A former member of the Defense Intelligence Community, Scott Kieff, stated that TikTok is “very much authentically part of a foreign state that has shown itself and declared itself to use networks like this both to gather [data] and to influence” and criticised the app as a national security threat.

Fox News: Biden administration bucks eco groups again, advances massive gas pipeline
The Biden administration approved a natural gas pipeline project linking West Virginia and Virginia, despite opposition from environmental groups. The Bureau of Land Management issued a 30-year right-of-way permit and a temporary use permit for the Mountain Valley Pipeline, allowing construction to proceed in a 3.5-mile stretch of the Jefferson National Forest along the West Virginia-Virginia border. While the pipeline is 94% complete, it still needs authorization from the US Army Corps of Engineers to cross 60 feet of a West Virginia trail and the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection must issue a revised permit as the previous one was struck down by a federal court. Environmental groups are also poised to challenge the Bureau of Land Management and Forest Service permits, further delaying construction.

Fox News: Florida wildlife authorities reveal native songbirds are being trapped and stolen: 'Possible jail time'
Florida wildlife authorities confiscated illegal bird traps from an island in the lower Florida Keys after a suspect was identified and his home raided by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the US Fish and Wildlife Service. Daniel Richard Acevedo, aged 77 and a Rockland Key local, was found to be visiting the bird trap frequently. Trapped birds are sold at establishments, including pet shops. The state has only three categories of bird-trapping permits: for scientific collection, nonnative nuisance control, and education and exhibition purposes. The case has raised awareness of bird trapping in the state.
