The Federalist Papers: Democratic Congresswoman Under Fire After Making Racist Suggestion About Illegal Aliens
Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz criticized Gov. Ron DeSantis’ new policy preventing companies from hiring illegal immigrants, claiming that without them, Florida’s economy would tank, and saying that vegetables would rot in the fields. However, her comment caused a backlash on Twitter, with many pointing out that this is just par for the course for Democrats who often justify illegal immigration on the grounds that they perform most of the country’s manual labor. The left claims to care about immigrants, but in reality, they are just interested in exploiting them for their own benefit at the expense of the American people.
Fox News: Honduran national in US illegally and released by Biden admin charged with raping teenage girl
Honduran national Geovani Grevi Rivera-Zavala, who entered the US illegally, has been charged with the rape of a teenager in an Alabama restaurant. The victim was eating with relatives when she saw Rivera-Zavala staring at her. Later, in the bathroom, Rivera-Zavala, who she did not know, allegedly entered the stall and raped her. The girl is said to have tried to fight him off and tell him "no" multiple times. Immigration authorities have placed a detainer on Rivera-Zavala. He faces a Class A felony rape charge.
Rivera-Zavala, 29, used a different name when he crossed into the US, was fingerprinted, and then released. He faces ten to 99 years to life in prison. Alabama officials have refused to negotiate with the feds to deport him. The U.S. Border Patrol reported 1.7 million migrant encounters in fiscal year 2021, swelling to 2.3 million in fiscal year 2022. Border authorities encountered more than 718,000 migrants attempting to cross the US-Mexico border in the first hundred days of fiscal year 2023. The White House did not comment on the case.

The Federalist Papers: Elon Musk Takes Long Pause, Gives Activist Reporter Perfect Answer to Question
Elon Musk's recent CNBC interview highlights how extreme and leftist the corporate media is, as the interviewer tried to paint Musk as short-sighted for expressing his opinions on Twitter. Despite attempts to label him as polarizing, Musk remains one of the wealthiest people and showed his unapologetic nature when discussing his right to free speech. He put his money where his mouth is by buying Twitter to preserve the ability for people to speak unfettered without fear of punishment, even if it costs him billions of dollars.
Breitbart: Dems Attempt to Discredit Weaponization Committee FBI Witnesses: ‘These Are Not Whistleblowers’
Democrats question the whistleblower status of three current and former FBI employees testifying during a congressional hearing aimed at examining allegations within the FBI. Democrats claimed that the witnesses were not whistleblowers and called the hearing "a partisan political stunt." The witnesses testified that they had witnessed anti-conservative bias at the bureau and were retaliated against because of it. Republicans tore into the Democrats for doubting the witnesses' whistleblower status. Democrats attempted to dismiss the witnesses as January 6 sympathizers and attempted to link them to conspiracy theories.
The New American: Pro-lifers to Celebrate First Anniversary of Dobbs Decision - The New American
Pro-life advocates are celebrating "five victories in the past five weeks" as the first anniversary of the Supreme Court's Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization decision approaches, including abortion restrictions passed in North and South Carolina, Nebraska, Florida, and Montana. Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, says the momentum for life continues. Pro-abortion advocates, including Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) and Massachusetts Democratic Senator Ed Markey, are pushing to pack the Supreme Court in response to these new laws. PPFA also released a statement saying courts must be used to protect rights and reform is integral to building public trust.
National Review: The Corner: Who Exactly Is ‘Obsessed’ with Bathrooms?
New York Times opinion writer Lydia Polgreen argues that Governor Ron DeSantis's bathroom-related legislation is "cruel and absurd," representing a "pitiless onslaught against trans bodies." Polgreen suggests that bathrooms are where "we feel most vulnerable," citing the historical use of bathrooms as tools of "repression and humiliation" to enforce societal hierarchies. However, Emily Bazelon's 2015 Times piece highlights the vulnerability that women feel in sex-segregated restrooms and the need for women to have better equipped and more expansive facilities than men to accommodate their biological needs. Some women decline to participate in exercises to validate the unrealized desire of trans women because of something more instinctual at work.
Breitbart: FBI Whistleblower Report: Bank of America Gave Americans' Banking Info to FBI Around January 6
Bank of America provided the FBI a list of anyone who used their services in the D.C. area between January 5 and 7, 2021, which included customers who did not participate in the January 6 protests, reveals a House Judiciary Committee report on FBI whistleblowers. Bank of America, however, has yet to clarify if it voluntarily provided the data or complied with the bulk subpoena. The latest FBI audit shows that the agency had insufficient justification for two FISA searches relating to the "January 6th Capitol Violence."
Daily Wire: Dem Tries Linking FBI Whistleblower To Wrong Twitter Account. Gaetz Hilariously Trolls Her.
A Democrat congresswoman wrongly linked an FBI whistleblower to a tweet during a hearing on the weaponization of the federal government, prompting a Twitter troll from Matt Gaetz. Rep. Linda Sanchez asked Marcus Allen about a tweet, only to be told it wasn't his account, yet persisted with the line of questioning. Sanchez then offered another tweet without success. GOP Rep. Gaetz found a different Linda Sanchez tweet endorsing Donald Trump, a share likely to be provoked by Sanchez's questioning of the wrong account.
Breitbart: Republicans 'Pressing Pause' on Debt Limit Talks with Biden White House
Republicans led by Rep. Garret Graves will "press pause" on debt ceiling negotiations with the Biden White House citing bad-faith negotiation from the administration. Graves accused the White House of not having reasonable conversations. Talks have been put on hold while the U.S. President is out of the country, leaving Vice President Harris in charge of negotiations.
The Federalist: Tucker Carlson More Popular Than Fox News: Poll
Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson is more popular than the network that fired him and Twitter CEO Elon Musk, according to a new poll by Change Research. Carlson scored a 59% net favorability rating among 404 likely Republican primary voters, while Musk trailed behind with 53% and Fox News earned a negative 4%. The poll interviewed 1,208 registered voters between April 28 and May 2, and had a 3% margin of error. Carlson's overall favorability rating was double that of Fox News among the total group of respondents, which included Republicans, Democrats and independents.
The Epoch Times: House Freedom Caucus to McCarthy: 'Use Every Leverage' in Debt Limit Negotiation
House Freedom Caucus urges Republicans to use every leverage to get debt limit bill signed; caucus also advocates abandoning negotiations over lifting the debt ceiling. Democratic senators, including Sen. Bernie Sanders, urge President Biden to invoke the 14th Amendment to avoid default if negotiations break down or if Republicans insist on enacting the full provisions of the Limit, Save, Grow Act. The bill would reduce federal spending and raise the debt ceiling through March 2024. Country set to reach $31.4 trillion debt limit on or after June 1 without raising the ceiling, an event experts believe would be disastrous for the US economy.
Forbes: GOP Sen. Tim Scott Announces Presidential Run—Trump’s Latest Challenger

He is set to announce his candidacy formally on May 22.
Flag And Cross: Punk Leftist Tries to Ambush Lauren Boebert, Watch How Ex-Cop Clay Higgins Saves the Day
Self-professed far-left activist Jake Burdett attempted to interrupt a Republican news conference on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. in regards to the World Health Organization. After being given the chance to remain, Louisiana Rep. Clay Higgins removed Burdett from the event after he continued to provoke the Republicans. Burdett claimed he was detained for questioning the Congressmen, but according to The Hill, he wanted to troll the Congressmen. Burdett asked Paul Gosar about appearing at a conference hosted by Nick Fuentes, and asked Lauren Boebert about the reason behind her recent divorce. The Blaze: Crowd squirms as John Fetterman asks questions that barely make sense
Dave Rubin criticizes politicians like Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and jokes that they are not the "best and the brightest." He then highlights a recent speech from U.S. Senator John Fetterman, who had just been released from the hospital after dealing with depression. Fetterman's speech is rambling and confused, leading Rubin to question whether he is fit for his position as senator.
National Review: Democrats Cook the FBI’s Books on Domestic Terrorism
Congressional Democrats are pushing the narrative that domestic terrorism fueled by white supremacy is the most significant threat to American national security, even before the Capitol riot of January 6, 2021. This political narrative is why they created the so-called "Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act," proposing that FBI inflate the number of domestic terrorism investigations, to establish that the country is under a white-supremacist siege. Democrats, with the help of FBI, are trying to place blame on Republicans, pro-life activists, parents who object to woke-progressive indoctrination in schools, and other conservatives. The FBI has classified every single January 6 case as a domestic terrorism case, regardless of the nature of the crime, to support the Democrat's "white supremacy" narrative.

The Epoch Times: Russia Has ‘Intent and Ability’ to Target Undersea Infrastructure Warns Defence Secretary
Russia possesses the intent and capability to target undersea energy and communication cables, according to UK Defence Secretary Ben Wallace. Speaking after the signing of a statement of intent to increase co-operation with Norway on undersea capabilities, Wallace said that Moscow used submarines, spy ships and other pieces of equipment to potentially sabotage or attack critical national infrastructure belonging to its adversaries. The agreement will see both countries work to detect submarines, counter mine threats and enhance security in the North Atlantic, with the Royal Navy’s multi-role ocean surveillance vessel RFA Proteus being deployed to help protect critical infrastructure from July.
Multiple unexplained underwater explosions in September 2022 ruptured the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 pipelines, which link Russia and Germany between Sweden and Denmark across the Baltic Sea. The Nord Stream blasts prompted NATO to increase patrols of the North and Baltic Seas, establish a Critical Undersea Infrastructure Protection Cell and warn of heightened sabotage threats. Neither Wallace nor his Norwegian counterpart would comment on whether Russia was responsible for the explosions, but Wallace stated that the incident led to even closer partnership between the UK and Norway to counter undersea threats.

Fox News: Iran defies US over executions, putting three democracy protesters to death
The Islamic Republic of Iran has been carrying out mass extrajudicial killings of protesters seeking democracy, with at least 90 executions reported in the past 18 days. The US and international community have condemned the regime’s actions, with the Biden administration specifically calling on Iran to stop the killings and respect human rights. The regime has charged the protesters with the crime of waging war against God and subsequently executed them. This is the “bloodiest month” in five years for Iran and is considered to be creating societal fear to maintain power.
Despite the ongoing violent crackdown on protesters in Iran, the Biden administration continues to pursue a nuclear deal with the regime. The EU and Germany, previously in a twin city partnership with Isfahan, have been criticized for not doing more to publicly condemn the regime’s actions. The situation has sparked waves of opposition to the regime, with calls for Iran to respect human rights and abolish the Islamic Republic. Demonstrations have erupted across the country and internationally, with protesters chanting “Death to the dictator”.
Foreign Policy: South Africa’s Nonsensical Nonalignment
The diplomatic relationship between the US and South Africa may be affected by the Lady R ship, which is alleged to have transported weapons from South Africa to Russia and then back to South Africa. President Ramaphosa has formed an independent inquiry to investigate the issue, which could result in US economic sanctions and damage to the South African economy. South Africa’s stance of nonalignment and failure to articulate its Russia-Ukraine policy has resulted in confusion and a lack of clarity, which is damaging the country’s image and credibility.
