These attachments, originally designed to aid disabled veterans, don't enhance the lethality of firearms, but have become popular among gun enthusiasts. Gun Owners of America and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton have teamed up to challenge the rule in federal court, but Congress also has the power to nullify it. The rule casts a wide net and could subject existing owners to felony charges carrying a maximum sentence of ten years in prison.

Assemblyman Jacobson called for investigation on YIT Foundation and CEO Sharon Toney-Finch after they were alleged to have lied regarding homeless veterans being displaced from hotels for migrants. Sharon Toney-Finch claimed that a group of veterans were being displaced from hotels to make room for migrants being bused to the area from New York City, however, the New York Post report later alleged this to be a hoax. Investigations are now underway by the state’s attorney general and the Orange County District Attorney’s Office to clarify the matter.

His journey was part of a prize set up by a French hotelier for the first person to make such a journey. Lindbergh made the journey with his plane The Spirit of St. Louis, during which he experienced physical and mental exhaustion. He was greeted as a national hero when he arrived in Paris, and nicknamed "Lucky Lindy" and the "Lone Eagle".

Believers in biblical principles risk losing their jobs and being ostracized by family and friends for articulating their beliefs. This hostility towards biblical Christianity is not new, as believers have faced intimidation and persecution for 2,000 years. The Bible proclaims individual liberty and fidelity to God above all, which is a threat to those in power, making biblical beliefs vociferously opposed by the civic power structure.
The Bible promotes fundamental liberties like freedom of conscience, maintaining separate church and civic institutions, freedom of assembly, and freedom of the press. Armed only with a Bible, Martin Luther championed radical ideas about personal liberty, which threatened the European theocracy. Those who demand fealty to man instead of God see biblical principles and believers as an impediment, and attacks on these beliefs continue today. The best defense is to unapologetically promote individual liberty through biblical principles.
