Forbes: Democrats Urge Biden To Evade GOP’s Debt Ceiling Demands Using Civil War-Era Amendment
Democrats Urge Biden To Evade GOP’s Debt Ceiling Demands Using Civil War-Era Amendment
Democratic senators led by Bernie Sanders have urged President Joe Biden to use the 14th Amendment's obscure clause to bypass Republican demands for raising the US debt ceiling. They want Biden to continue issuing debt without congressional approval through the Civil War-era amendment, which prevents questioning of the public debt of the United States. The group accuses Republicans of making a bipartisan budget agreement "seemingly impossible" with their demands for raising the federal borrowing limit.

Daily Wire: Former FBI Official Tells House Republicans Bureau Denied Agents J6 Riot Footage To Protect Assets, Informants Present At U.S. Capitol
Former FBI Official Tells House Republicans Bureau Denied Agents J6 Riot Footage To Protect Assets, Informants Present At U.S. Capitol
Former FBI official George Hill claimed that the bureau denied Boston agents access to 11,000 hours of Capitol riot video footage out of fear it would reveal the identities of possible undercover officers and confidential informants. Hill also alleged that FBI officials were pressuring Boston agents to open investigations on 140 individuals who attended the January 6 rally in DC and forced them to open investigations on 138 individuals based on their association with two Trump supporters who organized a bus trip transporting the group to the rally. The FBI has not commented on these allegations.

House Republicans investigating the alleged weaponization of the federal government summoned three FBI whistleblowers, who testified about the bureau's "abuses of power". The testimonies included details about how the bureau allegedly targeted American conservatives, directed agents to inflate so-called domestic violent extremism statistics to fit a political narrative for the Biden administration, and prioritized January 6 investigations over child sex crimes. Less than 24 hours before the former federal law enforcement staff testified, the FBI revoked Friend and Allen’s top-security clearances for speaking out against “politicized rot” at the bureau.

Foreign Policy: What Israel Can Teach the U.S. About Confronting a Constitutional Crisis
What Israel Can Teach the U.S. About Confronting a Constitutional Crisis
Millions of Israelis have been protesting against their government's attempt to revolutionize the judiciary. The reforms will remove the independent judiciary, threaten Israel's democratic system, and remove the only check and balance against unlimited government power. The movement has sustained massive nonviolent protests and civil disobedience across the country, and Israeli lessons can be applied to the United States should they face a constitutional crisis. The essential elements have been the non-violent character of the protests, active participation from the military and civil servants, strikes, and respected political leaders participating in protests.

Spectator USA: The inevitable collapse of the Sussexes’ ‘car chase’ tale
The inevitable collapse of the Sussexes’ ‘car chase’ tale
Meghan and Harry's claim of a "near fatal" paparazzi car chase is being questioned by some due to the lack of evidence and plausibility. The NYPD has denied there were any collisions, summonses, injuries or arrests, and the photo agency involved has also claimed there were no near-collisions or crashes. Some New Yorkers have also pointed out that a two-hour high-speed car chase in busy Manhattan is unlikely. The couple's tendency to exaggerate and gaslight the public is making it hard for many to trust their claims, and comparisons to Diana's treatment by the press have been criticized as unfair.
