American Thinker: GOP needs to get in the game on election process
Republicans need to focus on the electoral "process" to stop losing close elections as the Democrats have mastered mass mail-in voting, drop boxes, and ballot-harvesting. The Democrats have a big advantage in soft money donations from the billionaire class, which boosted the voter turnout in their favor in Wisconsin.
American Thinker: We call them ‘mala mujer’ in Spanish
Hillary Clinton's alleged plan to distract from her illegal destruction of evidence, her emails, was revealed in the Durham Report. Her team claimed ignorance, but Durham found their protestations ridiculous. Clinton's pet attack dogs, Fusion GPS, seeded the fake story. Many call for her prosecution. However, despite her bitter response to losing the election, she will never sit in the Oval Office.
Front Page Magazine: National Archives: Every Admin in 40 Years Mismanaged Classified Documents
Overclassification is a major security issue that leads to leaks like those by Snowden and Discord. Good thing officials are finally admitting that every administration since Reagan has mishandled classified documents, with 80 calls since 2010 from libraries that have found such information in Congress members' papers. The recent raids on former President Trump's properties over this issue were absurd.
The Epoch Times: Biden Arrives in Japan to Meet with G-7 Leaders Amid Looming Debt Crisis at Home
President Biden arrived in Japan for the G-7 summit where leaders will discuss various issues including the conflict in Ukraine and China's threats against Taiwan, as well as economic security. The summit comes at a challenging time for Biden as he faces a potential crisis if Congress fails to raise the debt ceiling to avert a default by the so-called "x-date" as early as June. Biden's travel schedule has been shortened so he can return to Washington earlier than planned to continue debt ceiling negotiations. The G-7 leaders will visit Peace Memorial Park and meet with survivors of the atomic bomb that leveled the city in 1945 and discuss outreach to the Global South to counter China's growing influence in these regions.

The Economist: Volodymyr Zelensky’s European trip secures a lot more military backing
Volodymyr Zelensky's European trip secures significant military backing for Ukraine, including a support package worth €2.7bn ($2.9bn), air-defence systems, battle tanks, and surveillance drones. Germany's largest arms manufacturer, Rheinmetall, will also form a joint venture with Ukraine's Ukroboronprom to service and repair tanks, and ultimately manufacture them. The UK will be sending hundreds of air-defence missiles and armed drones with a range of more than 200km, including the Storm Shadow air-launched cruise missile. All this conveys to Vladimir Putin that after this Ukrainian offensive, there may be even better-equipped ones to come.
Kramatorsk, located just 30km from the fierce fighting in Bakhmut, has adapted to wartime and become Ukraine's romantic capital. Despite the turmoil, the city has embarked on an ambitious urban redevelopment programme, has become home to a burgeoning start-up scene, and hosts numerous cultural events such as concerts, exhibitions, and theatre performances. The city symbolises the relentless spirit of the Ukrainians adapting to life on the front line.

The Epoch Times: VA Seeking $16.6 Billion More in Funding Amid Processing Backlog for Toxin Exposure Claims
Secretary of the VA, Denis McDonough, presented the department’s budget and funding requests to the Senate Veterans’ Affairs Committee on May 17. Focus was placed on the 22% cut in spending for veterans’ services that would result from the GOP’s recent debt-limit bill, and on the department’s request for more funding to maintain and increase staff to aid compensation claims for veterans who were exposed to toxins whilst on duty. During the hearing, Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) took the opportunity to question McDonough about his involvement in the FBI’s investigation into alleged collusion by the 2016 Trump presidential campaign with Russian operatives. The secretary responded that he would investigate and get back to her.
American Thinker: Is a major primetime schedule shakeup imminent at FOX News?
Fox News has not yet confirmed rumors about a potential shakeup in its primetime lineup, despite being reported by conservative media personality Matt Drudge. Based on an unsourced report, Drudge had published a headline claiming that Hannity will be taking a prime-time slot, as yet unspecified. This news has been circulating since Wednesday, but Fox News denies any such decision has been taken. The current lineup is Tucker Carlson Tonight at 8, followed by The Five at 9, Hannity at 10, and The Ingraham Angle at 11. The Drudge Report has a history of speculating about anonymous sources from Fox regarding the channel’s prime-time changes.
