Breitbart: Report: North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum Weighing 'Likely' White House Bid
North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum is reportedly considering a dark-horse bid for the White House in 2024. He has begun hiring political consultants who have advised previous Republican presidential campaigns. Burgum's venture capitalist and tech executive background, which includes serving as CEO of Great Plains Software and head of Microsoft Business Solutions, has provided him with substantial personal wealth and financial network to rely on for a possible presidential campaign. If he joins the race, he would be among the wealthiest Republican contenders with former President Trump and former biotech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy.
Daily Wire: ‘New Level Of Denial’: Jonathan Turley Rips Into WaPo’s Last Defense Of ‘Russian Collusion’
Washington Post's Philip Bump wrote a column titled "There’s now even less reason to blame Clinton for the Russia probe", where he argues that there could have been Russian collusion with Trump's campaign after all, while quoting Hillary Clinton on how the allegations against her campaign is possible "Russian disinformation". George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley accused Bump of spinning the Inspector General John Durham’s final report on the FBI's investigation into former President Donald Trump's alleged ties to Russia and called WaPo's post-Durham defense of the Trump/Russia collusion narrative a "new level of denial". According to Turley, in his column Bump even makes one last pitch that there might have been Russian collusion after all.

Higgins defended his actions, stating that the man he escorted away was mentally ill. The man appeared to be with a progressive group and was wearing a Bernie Sanders T-shirt. Higgins, who previously served as a police officer, is facing criticism for his actions, with some questioning what would happen if a Democrat had done the same thing.
Breitbart: Weaponization Committee: FBI ‘Disparaging Whistleblowers’ After Revoking Their Security Clearances
Weaponization of Federal Government Subcommittee refutes FBI claims regarding revocation of security clearances for three individuals who accused the bureau of misconduct, including alleged politicization against conservatives. Subcommittee report alleges that the FBI violated whistleblower protection laws and targeted whistleblowers. National Review: Ron DeSantis Isn’t Going to ‘Legally Kidnap’ Your Children
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has signed a bill into law that restricts minors' access to surgical and hormonal treatment for gender dysphoria. Critics have described the law as making "trans lives illegal", "horrifying", and empowering the state to "kidnap kids in Florida", but these claims are not accurate. The law only prohibits physicians from providing certain treatments to minors and expands the definition of "harm" to include surgical and hormonal remedies for body dysmorphia, potentially granting temporary emergency custody to the state in cases of mistreatment or abuse.
The law may apply to ongoing custody disputes between parents when one parent wants a minor to receive transactional therapies and the other does not, and it also alters statutes pertaining to petitioners seeking custody of a child to prevent them from being taken out of Florida, where harm may be suffered. The law is not unique, and similarly intrusive measures have been passed in Democrat-led states, which have not been met with widespread media objection. The national debate over trans rights appears to be more influenced by political ideology than concern about the welfare of children.

The Epoch Times: Special Forces Structure, Budget Need Revamping to Counter China, Russia, Experts Testify
US Special Operations Forces (SOF) are increasingly transitioning from counterterrorism operations to facing so-called 'great power competition' with Russia and China, leading to changes and deficiencies in force structure and resources. According to the Center for Naval Analyses Research Program Director for Countering Threats and Challenges, Jonathan Schroden, the new focus is on monitoring and disrupting terrorists that can harm the US homeland, as well as countering Chinese and Russian state aggression. Witnesses commented on the inadequacy of the SOF budget, and the need to streamline procedures to allow for greater flexibility. The biggest concentrated hurdle is a lack of synchronicity across the various special operations branches and the continued definition disagreements of what is considered “irregular warfare”.
