Newsbusters: Amanpour Rips Her Own Network's Trump Town Hall In Commencement Speech
Amanpour Rips Her Own Network's Trump Town Hall In Commencement Speech
Internal CNN dissent over town hall with Trump boils over as Amanpour pushes for neutrality in pursuit of truth. She says blacklisting the ex-president could be a way forward. However, Amanpour is a firm believer in taking sides and encourages journalists not to be neutral. She recognizes “the tabloid and populist press” are rather faulting Americans' lack of trust in the media, but does not make the connection between partisanship and media credibility.

FBI retaliated against whistleblowers who exposed bureau's 'politicized rot' by revoking security clearance, suspending employees: House report
The FBI has been accused of "retaliatory conduct" against whistleblowers who spoke out about the bureau's "politicized rot" by the House Judiciary Committee and Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government. Employees had their security clearances suspended and revoked for speaking out about the agency's "abuse and misconduct", according to the report. Whistleblowers accused the bureau of opening unjust investigations into individuals who attended the political rally in Washington on January 6, 2021. The whistleblowers also claimed that the FBI pressured its staff to "reclassify cases as domestic violent extremism (DVE), and even manufactured DVE cases where they may not otherwise exist."

The New American: Stop Waiting for Trump, or Anyone Else, to Save You
Stop Waiting for Trump, or Anyone Else, to Save You
Americans have an unhealthy fixation with "savior" figures, waiting on big-name political figures like Donald Trump or Ron DeSantis to save the country. This deep-rooted inertia is allowing civilizational decline to continue, with even right-wing America falling prey to idolatry. But America's men must take responsibility for their own lives and their communities and stop waiting for others to do the hard work of citizenship. By focusing on fixing their own towns and building themselves, Americans can make a difference locally and eventually see national change.

The American Mind: About Suffering They Are Always Wrong
About Suffering They Are Always Wrong

Jordan Neely, a homeless black man who frequented the New York City subway system, died after being put in a “sleeper hold” by a young white man and former Marine, Daniel Penny, who has been arrested for manslaughter. The incident has turned into a national debate, with some activists painting Neely as a victim of white racism, while others blaming lax approaches towards crime, policing, and punishment. However, the author argues that Neely’s story is only a local crime and does not accurately represent any larger truth about America. Being force-fed the world's suffering in graphic detail creates more tragedy and suffering, and we should liberate ourselves from the demands of distant suffering.

Breitbart: Nolte: Disney Caves and Prepares to Stream ESPN
Nolte: Disney Caves and Prepares to Stream ESPN
Disney's ESPN network will soon be available for cord-cutters as a standalone streaming service. While ESPN+ offers some content, only ESPN provides lucrative content like the NBA and NFL, and due to cable TV package fees, even those who don't watch ESPN wrap up a $110 yearly fee. Tens of millions of Americans pay thousands for channels they don't watch and that support hate-fuelled networks like CNN and MTV. Cable TV is dying, with the stream services helping; 2.3 million Americans cut the cord in the last quarter alone, costing entertainment outlets like Disney a fortune.
