Democrats have criticized the move as an assault on Ohio's direct democracy. Teams of lawmakers from each party have been assigned to write pro and con arguments about the measure, with voters set to decide its fate in August.

Forbes: SEC Chair’s Policies Facilitating Abuse Of Shareholder Proposals This Proxy Season
CNX Resources' shareholders rejected a resolution asking the company to disclose its lobbying activity and commit to the Paris Climate Accord. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) under Chairman Gary Gensler has encouraged this type of abuse of the corporate governance system through policy changes that have made it easier for environmental and social proposals to make it onto a company's ballot and no enforcement of the SEC's 2020 proxy advisor rule during the 2021 proxy season.

The New American: Don’t Be Fooled: Good Cannot “Coexist” With Evil
The popular "coexist" bumper sticker promotes the idea of unity and diversity through the combination of symbols from different religions and philosophies. However, the true agenda behind the symbol is to normalize the idea that good and evil must exist side-by-side. This is a subtle message that has been pushed by the Left and has infiltrated popular culture, including famous franchises like Star Wars, which talk about bringing balance to the "Light Side" and the "Dark Side." This agenda is a perversion of Christianity and goes against the Christian mandate to repent, seek Christ, and combat evil with the aim of eradicating it.
As Christians, it is our duty to purge the darkness within ourselves through faith and repentance and fight against the darkness that is evil in our society, not coexist with it. The Left's ultimate goal is not equality but superiority. Their strategy has always been to give their ideas an opening into the culture by demanding equal representation. Then, when they have it, they suppress everything Christian and traditionalist viciously. The normalization of evil is a subtle and diabolical way of turning evil into a "good" that is treated like an integral component of humanity and the cosmos. As Christians, we should follow Jesus Christ, who is the light of the world, and strive to reflect his light to those around us.
