American Thinker: Why Are There so Many Militant Democrats?
Why are there so many militant "ground troop" Democrats who fight for liberal causes like BLM and transgender rights? They may not be happy with themselves and their own accomplishments, leading to insecurity and envy. In contrast, conservatives believe in personal responsibility, limited government, free markets, individual liberty, and a strong national defense, and tend to have family, faith, and a sense of self-worth. To shift priorities in schools and encourage critical thinking, conservatives should emphasize skilled trades and the trade-off between risk and reward, accept failure as a stepping stone to success, and get involved in schools.
The Epoch Times: Democrats Win Pennsylvania Special Election, Maintain Narrow Majority in State House
Heather Boyd, a former congressional and state legislative aide, won a special election for a seat in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, defeating Republican Katie Ford. Boyd's win gives Democrats a narrow one-seat majority in the state House, which is crucial in controlling the agenda on state policies for issues such as elections, abortion access, and education funding . President Joe Biden endorsed Boyd one day prior to the special election, citing the importance of the outcome for fundamental freedoms that Pennsylvanians hold dear, including abortion rights, gun safety laws, and election legislation .
Newsbusters: Column: The PBS 'NewsHour' Is a Democrat Spin Hour
PBS's reputation for impartiality is undeserved, as shown by a recent study by the Media Research Center. NewsHour tilted heavily towards the Democrats in the first four months of 2021, branding Republicans as extremists and attacking them without offering balance. While PBS may claim to provide "light, not heat" in its journalism, its coverage was 85% negative towards congressional Republicans. PBS's supposed reputation for trustworthiness is called into question.
Washington Free Beacon: Hunter Biden Lobbied State Department in 2016 on Behalf of Corrupt Romanian National, Records Show
Hunter Biden met with a State Department official on behalf of a Romanian businessman who paid him more than $1 million to help with his corruption case, which raises questions about unregistered foreign lobbying. Emails and documents on Hunter Biden's laptop reveal he met with the US ambassador to Romania on the topic of a corruption case against Gabriel Popoviciu in March 2016. While on Popoviciu's payroll, Biden worked with lawyers from the law firm Boies Schiller Flexner to lobby the US embassy in Bucharest to intervene in Popoviciu's case. Popoviciu was ultimately convicted of bribery in 2017 and sentenced to seven years in prison. No one is buying that the Biden Administration can credibly investigate Biden family corruption, said Darrell Issa, a member of the House Judiciary Committee.
Hunter Biden and lawyers from Boies Schiller contacted the State Department on behalf of Burisma Holdings in 2014 without registering as lobbyists. A consulting firm that Biden worked with, Blue Star Strategies, registered its work for the Ukrainian company under the Foreign Agents Registration Act following a Justice Department investigation into its foreign lobbying. Biden also crafted a plan to lobby the State Department on behalf of the Chinese private equity firm BHR Partners. Biden's business partners sought a State Department meeting to land public approval of an initiative they hoped would help them get contracts in China. Biden offered to provide "whatever you need" in terms of contact with the State Department.
American Thinker: For Decades, Democrats Have Been Ignoring Evidence And Facts
Democrats eliminate swimming requirement for police because not enough black candidates can pass test. Gun crimes committed by legal owners are low, while illegal gun owners commit 80% of gun crimes. Democrats rarely address correlation between anti-depressants and violence. The Democrat party fails to secure the border despite encouraging illegal entry. Illegal aliens cost Americans $250 billion per year while the price tag of a border wall was under $25 billion. Biden sends troops to help illegal immigrants enter the country.
American Thinker: 2024 is Evolving into a Trump vs. Not-Trump Election
In American history, no one has dominated and overshadowed both major political parties as much as Donald Trump. His overwhelming success as president gives him a cult-like status among 30% of Republican primary voters, and virtually every Republican candidate seeks his endorsement. The Democrat Party's all-consuming obsession to defeat Trump has caused them to enter into a de facto alliance with American Marxists, and their entire electoral strategy for 2024 revolves around Trump, despite Biden's alleged inability to campaign.
Despite Sen. Joe Biden's daily revelations of malfeasance and incompetence, the Democrat Party establishment remains confident that Biden will defeat Trump in 2024. They have long been planning on Trump being the Republican nominee and are betting on fear of Trump motivating voters to come out in droves for Biden. However, doubt is creeping in as more examples of Biden's duplicity and incompetence become exposed, and ongoing polls show that 70% of Americans do not want Biden to run for president. Without Biden in the race, 2024 is shaping up to be a Trump vs. Not-Trump election, with the fate of the country in Trump's hands if he wins the nomination.

Forbes: UBS Braces To Lose Billions After Rushed Credit Suisse Rescue
UBS has warned investors that its rescue deal to buy ailing rival Credit Suisse, brokered by the Swiss government, could lose it billions due to increased regulatory and legal costs. The bank, which rushed through the deal in under four days due to “emergency circumstances”, admitted that it was unable to conduct adequate due diligence before purchase, leaving it at risk from the costly acquisition, which reportedly trebled in value. As a result, UBS has now set aside $4bn to cover the new risks. Furthermore, UBS’s staff are now working to “merge the businesses and close the deal in the coming weeks or months”.

Field & Stream: Michigan DNR Adds Rabbits, Squirrels, and More to Nuisance-Animal Kill List
Michigan homeowners can now kill certain nuisance animals without a permit, including rabbits, squirrels, beavers, muskrats, opossums, and weasels. The circumstances under which homeowners can kill have also changed, with homeowners now able to kill critters that are “doing damage or physically present where it could imminently do damage”. Michiganders no longer need a permit to kill a nuisance animal, as long as "the individual abides by all legal hunting and trapping methods for those species."

Forbes: Google’s Intrinsic Promise Of Democratizing Robots May Fall Short
Alphabet's Intrinsic introduces Flowstate, a product aimed at making robotic programming accessible to all, but the challenge remains cultural. Most companies insist on automation experts to lead deployment, which limits potential for flexibility and productivity. Empowering frontline workers with the tools necessary for automation is needed to address the ongoing productivity slump in Europe and North America. Companies need to trust their operators and adopt the available tools to develop a culture of continuous improvement and automation.

Washington Free Beacon: COVID-19 Most Likely Emerged From Wuhan Lab, Rubio Report Says
A report from Florida senator Marco Rubio suggests that COVID-19 most likely emerged from a Chinese lab, and was covered up by the Chinese Communist Party. The report details systemic negligence from scientists and pressure from officials that left the Wuhan Institute of Virology susceptible to a lab leak, and suggests that senior Chinese Communist Party officials were aware of a "serious biocontainment failure or accident" at the Wuhan Institute more than a month before disclosing it to the public. The Wuhan Institute is an integral part of China's biotechnology strategy, which aims to modernize the economy, putting tremendous top-down pressure on labs such as the Wuhan Institute. Beijing has long taken an interest in coronaviruses, both because they are prevalent in the nation and because its military is concerned adversaries could develop bioweapons that spread them. Although the report does not cite a specific incident for COVID-19 to escape from the Wuhan Institute, the lab's numerous safety issues were well known, and awareness of a laboratory incident seemed to have shaped the CCP leadership's response to SARS-CoV-2. Beijing began an international deception campaign to deflect responsibility and forbade scientists from sharing any research related to COVID-19.
Euromaidan Press: The Council of Europe makes the first step to compensate Ukrainian war losses using Russian assets
The Council of Europe has created a Register of Damage for Ukraine, marking the first step towards an international compensation mechanism for victims of Russian aggression against Ukraine. The Register can potentially lead to the confiscation of nearly $300 billion of Russian assets held in Western countries, with 43 countries and the European Union having joined or indicated their intention to join the agreement on the Register of Damage. The agreement follows the UN General Assembly resolution on reparations adopted on 14 November 2022. The Register is implemented for an initial period of three years and serves as a record of evidence and claims. It paves the way toward a future international comprehensive compensation mechanism for the victims of Russian aggression. The mechanism itself is yet to be agreed. The $ 300 billion question: Why the West does not confiscate Russian frozen assets despite Ukraine war. Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has welcomed the establishment of the Register, emphasizing its importance as an initial step towards Russia's accountability for its war against Ukraine.
