The American Spectator: Life After Tucker Carlson: Is Fox News Finished?
Life After Tucker Carlson: Is Fox News Finished?
Fox News possibly got rid of Tucker Carlson as part of its Dominion settlement, according to a producer who spoke with James O'Keefe of the O'Keefe Media Group. Fox denies this and the details are still being negotiated, but the network's numbers are suffering and some are questioning if it's the end of Fox.

Elizabeth Ailes, wife of the deceased former Fox leader, called out the network for its viewership nosedive and general mess, saying it's "karma." With the exception of Greg Gutfeld, would anyone else be missed if it's truly the end of Fox?

Breitbart: Report: China-Based Donations, Contracts to UPenn Increased amid Biden's WH Run
Report: China-Based Donations, Contracts to UPenn Increased amid Biden's WH Run
The University of Pennsylvania, home to the Penn Biden Center, has received over $100 million in contracts, gifts and donations from China-based sources, that have ties to the Chinese Communist Party, Hunter Biden’s business deals or an elitist Chinese club. Some of these sources are members of the China Entrepreneur Club (CEC), a group of billionaires and government officials loyal to the CCP. The CEC allegedly secured an off-the-books meeting with then-Vice President Joe Biden in 2011 with the help of Hunter Biden's business associates, which is believed to have taken place through the Penn Biden Center. This raises further questions about President Biden’s ties to China and the depth of his financial connections to foreign nationals.

Some of the corporate and individual China-based contributors, including the China Merchants Bank, Cathay Fortune and Gerry Wang who is on the University of Pennsylvania’s Asia Campaign Leadership Committee, have ties to entities involved in past business deals with Hunter Biden. Ge Li who launched WuXi AppTec, a pharmaceutical company with hundreds of CCP-aligned employees that has operations across Asia, Europe and North America, also donated. Despite the large donations, a University of Pennsylvania spokesman said that none of the funds “were directed to the Penn Biden Center," though the Center was the first location where President Joe Biden’s attorneys unearthed classified materials from his time as vice president.

Dem Sen. Brown: 'I Don't Reject' Biden Bypassing Congress on Debt Limit -- McCarthy Has to 'Pay Our Bills'
Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) criticized House Speaker Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) for not ruling out a default and urged him to raise the debt ceiling. Brown also mentioned that he doesn't reject using the 14th Amendment to bypass Congress on raising the debt limit. Host Chris Hayes asked Brown whether he will sign the letter urging Biden to prepare to invoke the 14th Amendment, to which Brown responded by stating that he doesn't want to divert from keeping pressure on McCarthy.

Townhall: Is Joe Too Old to be President?
Is Joe Too Old to be President?
Some people think Joe Biden is too old to be President of the United States, but age is relative and not necessarily a factor. Biden's real problem is his lack of intelligence, weak character, and unpopular policies. Democrats are floating the lie that age is the issue with hopes of getting a younger candidate willing to destroy America like Biden. However, unseating an incumbent President is difficult, and age is a red herring; Democrats wouldn't care how old Biden is if his policies were effective. Ultimately, the question is whether Biden can win or if someone else can.

Townhall: The 'Loneliness Epidemic' That Is Hurting Americans and America
The 'Loneliness Epidemic' That Is Hurting Americans and America
The Surgeon General's recent "Advisory" on loneliness and isolation addresses the important issue of social interaction. Humans are social animals and our Constitution is framed as a "social compact". Failure to engage socially at an individual and collective level can contribute to stagnation, both micro and macro. Social interactions are also important for mental and physical health, and social media can be a primary cause of social isolation in today's society. The advisory offers recommendations to start on the long road to recovery, such as scaling back on social media, serving others through civic volunteerism, and actually listening to and paying attention to other people. However, the issue of divisiveness based on real or perceived factors such as race, gender, or political preferences was not discussed, and actively resisting social tribalism is imperative to solving the problem of loneliness and isolation.

The American Spectator: Dylan Mulvaney Offers Companies Exit Plan From Woke Stronghold
Dylan Mulvaney Offers Companies Exit Plan From Woke Stronghold
Anheuser-Busch's Bud Light partnership with transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney has hurt company sales, stock prices, and its reputation. CEO's should learn from this fiasco and reject extremist gender politics which has caused harm to the company. The company wanted an inclusive campaign, however, the result was a caricature rather than inclusivity. The strategy resulted in a massive loss of revenue and market capitalization. It's important for companies to focus on their products rather than politics.

Townhall: Dissent From Leftist Narratives Is Moving Toward Critical Mass
Dissent From Leftist Narratives Is Moving Toward Critical Mass
Self-proclaimed liberals and progressives are leaving their cultural enclaves due to the abandonment of core principles in the name of political expediency or cowardice. They acknowledge the importance of civil liberties, opposition to discrimination, and advocacy for marginalized populations, but have seen these principles cast aside. Their departure has been most visible in the media, with individuals like Glenn Greenwald and Bari Weiss resigning from publications due to censorship and toxic work culture. Many have found new homes on Substack, including Matt Taibbi and Michael Shellenberger, who exposed Twitter's collaboration with government operatives to censor and smear individuals. Defectors have a common cause with those they once considered ideological opponents on the Right, reshaping political alliances and cultural conversations.

The Economist: Britain would rather forget about Liz Truss. She won’t let it
Britain would rather forget about Liz Truss. She won’t let it
Former British Prime Minister Liz Truss is on a global tour to call on Western leaders to stand up to China. At the Copenhagen Democracy Summit, Ms Truss called for Western countries to form an “economic NATO”, and warned in Taiwan that the West was already in a “cold war” with China. Ms Truss may be gone, but her ideas still live on and are popular among a certain wing of the Conservative Party despite being a problem for the country at large. She may be a dangerous Rorschach test, leaving Chinese and British viewers with vastly different impressions.

Britain is represented by its former leaders, for good or ill, with each providing a blueprint on how to handle post-prime ministerial life. Some, such as Theresa May, have played an admirable role on the backbenches, while others, such as Tony Blair, have been criticised for their high-paid work with unsavoury regimes. Ms Truss has the opportunity to advocate for a smaller state, supply-side reforms and a more hawkish foreign policy, but is emblematic of deeper problems such as a lack of policy from the Conservative Party.

Prince Harry, Meghan Markle moving from protected SUV to taxi amid chase makes 'zero sense': security expert
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left their chauffeured and protected SUV to take a yellow cab in the heart of New York City after paparazzi photographers chased them. Security expert Mark Selden and former Secret Service agent Dan Emmett have said that it put the couple in an unsafe position and that they would need more police support if they plan to stay in the US. Video footage or other evidence that the alleged chase took two hours are yet to be found and the NYPD said the photographers made transportation challenging but that no arrests were made.

Spectator USA: Why China’s buying of American farmland must stop
Why China’s buying of American farmland must stop
China owns only 0.9% of foreign-owned US agricultural land, but they are rapidly increasing their holdings of foreign farmland by 1,000%. The Department of Agriculture failed to keep track of foreign entities buying US agricultural land for three years, creating a complete lack of accountability and oversight. China has been rapidly buying up federal fishing permits and processing facilities on the East Coast, causing a threat to our ability to feed ourselves and being a national security threat.

Breitbart: Biden Sides with China's Solar Industry, Vetoes Plan to Restore U.S. Tariffs
Biden Sides with China's Solar Industry, Vetoes Plan to Restore U.S. Tariffs
President Biden vetoed a plan to restore US tariffs on China-made solar panels, despite suspicions that the solar panels are actually made in China and routed through southeast Asian nations to avoid the tariffs. Biden's tariff moratorium in June 2022 on solar panel imports from Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia came after lobbying from the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), which reportedly represents Chinese solar companies accused of using forced slave labor in Xinjiang. From 2001 to 2018, US free trade with China eliminated 3.7 million American jobs from the economy, with 2.8 million lost in manufacturing, raising concerns over the impact of skyrocketing US trade deficits.

The American Spectator: Here’s What the Fed’s Postmortem on the Collapse of Silicon Valley Bank Missed
Here’s What the Fed’s Postmortem on the Collapse of Silicon Valley Bank Missed
The Federal Reserve and FDIC issued self-assessments of their regulatory oversight leading up to the closings of Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank, blaming management for most of the blame, but credible independent groups including the Bank Policy Institute, the American Enterprise Institute, and the U.S. General Accountability Office, place most of the blame on the Fed and FDIC themselves, pointing to deficiencies in federal regulatory oversight and warranting congressional consideration for a fresh assessment of the entire federal financial regulatory system, including a reevaluation of the mission, legal mandates, and administrative powers of the Federal Reserve and all other federal financial regulators.

The Epoch Times: AI Is for Artificial Intelligence, Not Artistic Imitation
AI Is for Artificial Intelligence, Not Artistic Imitation
Art must be authentic to human experience and grounded in knowledge, created for its own sake rather than for a specific outcome. AI-generated art, lacking in human experience and instead pre-programmed and purpose-driven, does not meet the criteria for true art and is therefore inauthentic. AI-generated art also poses ethical questions regarding who benefits from its creation and use, and artists must reject it to uphold the importance of authentic human expression.

Charles Barkley calls those reasoning for Ja Morant 'jackasses' after latest firearm incident
Charles Barkley is calling out sports personalities who defend Ja Morant, the Memphis Grizzlies star being investigated by the NBA for an incident involving a firearm. Barkley says that with great earnings come great responsibility and that Morant needs to behave responsibly. He hopes Morant realizes that he's lucky to be making so much money playing basketball instead of working nine to five. #
