Breitbart: Anna Paulina Luna Introduces Resolution to Expel Adam Schiff from Congress
Anna Paulina Luna Introduces Resolution to Expel Adam Schiff from Congress
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) introduced a resolution to expel Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff (CA) from Congress for his promotion of the Trump-Russia collusion narrative, which Durham's report proved to be a lie. Schiff has been a longtime proponent of the Trump-Russia hoax. Luna called on the House Ethics Committee to investigate Schiff over his actions, saying that "knowingly using your position on House Intel to push a lie that ripped apart our country...makes you unfit for office."

Fox News: LAURA INGRAHAM: More minority voters are beginning to see how much they lose sticking with Democrats
LAURA INGRAHAM: More minority voters are beginning to see how much they lose sticking with Democrats
Fox News host Laura Ingraham criticizes liberal politicians in cities for neglecting hard-working minority communities and prioritizing criminals. She points to District Attorney Alvin Bragg's treatment of career criminals as victims and the charging of a bodega clerk who fought back against a robber. Ingraham also highlights discontent among minority voters over the housing of illegal immigrants in school gyms and suggests that Democrats prioritize immigration policies for votes and cheap labor. Ingraham argues that an energized American electorate is needed to close the border and address destructive policies.

Flag And Cross: 'Hold My Beer': Matt Gaetz Absolutely Triggers Panel Members After Mocking Miller Lite
'Hold My Beer': Matt Gaetz Absolutely Triggers Panel Members After Mocking Miller Lite
Republican congressman Matt Gaetz criticized Miller Lite for their woke advertisement apologizing for objectifying women in past ads. Gaetz believes that good-looking women in bikinis sell beer, and that Miller Lite is alienating their customer base by demonizing what drew them to the brand in the first place. The controversy arose after competitor Bud Light faced backlash over a leftist advertising campaign that featured a transgender influencer. Many people agreed with Gaetz's sentiments and criticized Miller Lite for selling out to the left.

Hollywood Writers Strike Enters 3rd Week With No End in Sight
Writers across Los Angeles called for better wages and representation as a strike, which began on May 2, entered its third week. Pickets have become a daily sight at various studios owned by Amazon, CBS, Disney, Netflix, Paramount, Sony, Universal and Warner Bros. The writers’ union is demanding a range of changes that could cost studios $429m a year in increased wages, more residual pay for streaming services, work guarantees, and protection from the emerging technology of artificial intelligence. The latest studios offer includes a 46% increase in residuals for streaming programmes over seven years. Talks over regulating AI use have come to a halt.

Anheuser-Busch beer brand, Budweiser, recently faced criticism on social media after sharing Instagram posts featuring beer cans with the Harley-Davidson logo, with many commenters still angry about the company's use of Dylan Mulvaney, a transgender figure, to promote Bud Light. While the posts drew many negative comments, recent Bud Light Instagram posts have had comments disabled, possibly due to the groundswell of consumer backlash since the Mulvaney controversy erupted.

The Epoch Times: IN-DEPTH: The Voice Is Not About Kindness, It Is About Communism: Albanian Expats Warn
IN-DEPTH: The Voice Is Not About Kindness, It Is About Communism: Albanian Expats Warn
Two Albanian expatriates warn that a proposal to change the Australian Constitution to further entrench indigenous interests resembles communism, recalling the class system implemented in Albania under socialism. Dr. Zekri Palushi described The Voice as a Marxist movement with specific goals that will cause Aboriginal people to become the greatest losers. The Voice campaign effectively mixed rhetoric from past Marxists in the theory of victimhood, tapping into fashionable ideologies including Black Lives Matter and campaigns against colonialism and Indigenous oppression.

The Palushis, who grew up during Albania’s communist era before migrating to Australia in 1995, attended a symposium on The Voice in Brisbane. The communist regime implemented brutal persecution of dissidents, which saw the state build an estimated 39 jails and 70 forced labour concentration camps. Most bodies were never recovered or were simply disposed of hastily. The move towards entrenching indigenous interests has parallels with communism and threatens to divide the country if The Voice is successful.

The American Spectator: Speaker McCarthy, Balance the Budget to Save America
Speaker McCarthy, Balance the Budget to Save America
House Republicans have an opportunity to create a better American future by lowering spending, reducing inflation, and balancing the federal budget, and they can achieve this by adhering to key principles such as paying attention to public opinion, staying on message, and focusing on economic growth, major reforms of spending programs, and savings in discretionary spending. The budget must be presented in actual dollars, and every element of bureaucratic government behavior should be measured against private sector evolution into faster, more efficient, more accountable systems to achieve budget savings. Cutting fraud and corruption, enlisting successful leaders, reforming higher education and K-12 education, and taming discretionary spending, including the national security system, are other ways to save taxpayers billions over the next decade.

The Epoch Times: 2nd Escaped Inmate Captured After Breaking out of Philadelphia Prison
2nd Escaped Inmate Captured After Breaking out of Philadelphia Prison
Federal marshals have captured the second fugitive who escaped from a Philadelphia prison earlier this month. Ameen Hurst was taken into custody around 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday and was held on four counts of murder. Authorities had been working with Hurst's family to have him surrender, but when the deadlines for that to happen had come and gone, officials staked out several locations where Hurst was believed to be hiding. They arrested him as he was getting into a car with two other family members. A relative was also detained for questioning. The other escapee, Nasir Grant, was caught last week by a fugitive task force who saw him leave a residence dressed as a woman. Authorities have charged three people with aiding the men in their escape.

The Economist: The world could soon breach its 1.5°C target for global warming
The world could soon breach its 1.5°C target for global warming
- The World Meteorological Organisation has warned of a 66% chance of the world exceeding its 1.5°C target for global warming, due to human-driven warming being amplified by El Niño. Although temporary, the ENSO could be boosted by the fallout of volcanic eruption last year, dragging the odds of breaching 1.5°C from its pre-industrial measures up by a few percentage points for next few years. Even a target of limiting warming to “well below 2°C” will require a massive call for the world to suck more than 3.5bn to 5.4bn tonnes of carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere each year, to try and stop the levels from multi-year breach.

- Scientists have discovered that humans shed genomic DNA everywhere they go, leading to the ability of easily identifying individuals. This has implications for evolving forensic science and could provide new insight into extraneous genetic traits and their prevalence. The market for dinosaur fossils is also booming, leading to a resurgence in palaeontologists’ work. Lastly, the potential for mealworms and other insects that can feed on brewery waste products, could potentially be used as feed for livestock and reduce the impact of the latter on the environment.

The American Spectator: Will California Outsmart AI?
Will California Outsmart AI?
The California Legislature wants to be the first state to regulate how businesses use AI, with a new measure targeting automated decision tools (ADTs). The Assembly Bill 331 would require an impact assessment before deploying ADTs, particularly algorithms that are used by employers to vet job applicants and landlords to vet tenants. While some kind of auditing process is becoming standard, some processes are more cumbersome than others. Critics argue that this approach will only impose the usual regulatory nightmare on larger businesses and could become political, as politicians and bureaucrats have political and social agendas. The bill also imposes a private right of action, which means that pretty much anyone could sue businesses for alleged violations.

The Epoch Times: Man Who Killed 8 in NYC Terrorist Attack Gets 10 Life Sentences Plus 260 Years
Man Who Killed 8 in NYC Terrorist Attack Gets 10 Life Sentences Plus 260 Years
Sayfullo Saipov, an Islamic extremist, has been sentenced to 10 life sentences and an additional 260 years in prison for a terrorist attack in Manhattan on Halloween in 2017. He killed eight people with a truck and received a sentence designed to underscore the severity of his crimes. Saipov, who claimed he carried out the attack on behalf of ISIS, was unrepentant and defiant during his trial, and his rambling and callous rant only strengthened the prosecution's case.

Kaitlan Collins, Media Darling With ‘Conservative’ Past, Is Ascendant
CNN has named Kaitlan Collins as the new anchor of its 9 p.m. primetime spot, succeeding the fired Don Lemon. Collins, who joined CNN in 2017, has previously worked at the conservative Daily Caller and will present a news-focused show that investigates uncovered angles. Despite her past, the media has largely welcomed the appointment, presenting it as an opportunity for CNN to demonstrate its lack of bias, although some on the left have criticized Collins’ alleged softball questions to former President Trump.
