Newsbusters: CBS' 'FBI: Most Wanted' Calls Busing Migrants to NYC a 'Publicity Stunt'
CBS' FBI: Most Wanted attacks the governor of Texas for daring to bus illegal immigrants to sanctuary cities like New York, in an episode that exposes the horrors of sex trafficking. The show blames the governor for sending a disproportionate number of illegal immigrants to New York, rather than the U.S. president, who refuses to protect our nation's sovereignty. The episode focuses on young, vulnerable illegal immigrants who fall prey to exploitation and are raped and killed, but it never once mentions the federal policies that facilitate such a nightmare. The show also perpetuates the stereotype of the white man as the primary villain.
The Epoch Times: Migrants First, Everyone Last
New York City Mayor Eric Adams' migrant-first policy has caused a major disruption, with some having to leave their pre-booked hotel rooms to accommodate migrants. This policy has resulted in displaced homeless veterans and families, as well as a strained relationship between local leaders and Democrats' immigration policies. Local leaders argue that caring for migrants will force cutbacks in services to local residents, and the New York Civil Liberties Union accuses resistant counties of "xenophobic harassment and discrimination" – a cheap shot at their resistance. The battle to house migrants in luxury accommodations, while displacing existing residents, is causing resentment and displacement, and Democrats need to find a better solution to the issue.

Fox News: Nikki Haley says governor of New York should pardon Daniel Penny after fatal NYC subway chokehold
Republican presidential contender Nikki Haley demands NY Gov. Kathy Hochul pardons Daniel Penny, a Marine veteran charged in the death of a man in a chokehold. Haley believes that Hochul needs to pardon Penny right away and not let criminals rule the streets of New York with no accountability for anyone who tries to stop them. Haley is joined by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and musician Kid Rock, who is one of the top donors to Penny’s legal defense fund. There is a growing support network for Penny, and the GiveSendGo fundraiser has passed $2.5 million in donations while the trial is still ongoing.
24-year-old Daniel Penny, a white man and former Marine veteran, placed a Black New York City subway passenger in a chokehold, which killed him. There is a viral video of the encounter that resulted in a manslaughter charge being filed almost two weeks afterward. Outrage and protests have occurred since the death of Jordan Neely, 30, with Mayor Eric Adams stating that “Jordan Neely did not deserve to die.” District Attorney Alvin Bragg has also spoken out against Penny. In contrast, Republican presidential contender Nikki Haley and others believe Penny was acting in self-defense due to Neely's behavior on the train.
Fox News: Durham report leads survivors of communism to draw 'chilling' parallels between US, countries they fled
Investigators found that the FBI investigated Trump's campaign for alleged Russia collusion despite a lack of hard evidence to support their suspicions. Survivors of communism have expressed concern for this behavior from the FBI, fearing government overreach. The report also sheds light on the differing treatments of the Trump and Clinton campaigns by the FBI during the election season.
Fox News: California Rep in heavily Asian-American district fights against Chinese Communist influence in education
Rep. Michelle Steel, R-Calif., represents an affluent district in California that is home to a significant proportion of Asian-Americans, including many Vietnamese-Americans who fled communism. Steel has been actively advocating for universities receiving foreign funds to register as foreign agents, particularly due to concerns about the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) using these funds to amass influence at US institutions. Steel argues that her constituents understand the threat posed by CCP propaganda and are supportive of her efforts to combat it. (,)
Steel's primary concern is the CCP's influence through Confucius Institutes, which have been used as propaganda and espionage tools for the party. While many of these institutes have been shut down due to concerns raised by the State Department, some have reappeared in different forms. Steel argues that US taxpayers should not be funding CCP propaganda and that the US needs to be vigilant about CCP efforts to steal US research and intellectual property. Steel, along with other GOP representatives, also wants to increase reporting requirements for foreign funding at US universities and improve the enforcement of existing laws. (,)

Red State: Durham Report: FBI Agents in Russia Probe Say Leaders Hid Intel About Possible Clinton Role
The Durham Report reveals that the FBI's Crossfire Hurricane investigation into Russian collusion was triggered and sustained by politically related leads, one of which alleged that Hillary Clinton had approved a campaign plan to smear President Donald Trump and tie him to Russia. The report showed that even though CIA Director John Brennan briefed top officials, including Vice President Joe Biden and FBI Director James Comey, on this intelligence, FBI employees were not informed and did not pursue this information, causing them to run up against dead ends.
The Epoch Times: Top Met Officer Denies Political Pressure to Clampdown on Coronation Protesters
Six members of the anti-monarchy campaign group Republic, including its CEO Graham Smith, were arrested during the coronation of the new King Charles III in London and held for 16 hours, before being released without charge. A group of volunteers handing out rape alarms were also held under suspicion of going equipped to "lock-on." Critics accused the police of heavy-handedness, but the Met's Temporary Assistant Commissioner, Matt Twist, told MPs he had felt "under no pressure politically," but under great pressure to deliver a safe event.
The six Republic members, who were the first people to be arrested under the new Public Order Act, which had been brought in three days before the coronation. The arrest of peaceful demonstrators led to questions about the police's intelligence, and the so-called "fine line" between legal demonstration and illegality. The Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police, Sir Mark Rowley, defended his staff's actions in a letter to Mayor of London Sadiq Khan.
Breitbart: Disney Asks Judge to Dismiss DeSantis-Appointed Board’s Lawsuit in Latest Tit-for-Tat
Disney has asked a state judge in Florida to dismiss a lawsuit filed by a governing board appointed by Governor Ron DeSantis that seeks to void agreements Disney made with previous board members made up of Disney supporters. Disney claims the company has been the victim of the “weaponizing” powers of government aimed at punishing it for opposing a law dubbed “Don’t Say Gay” by critics. Disney’s motion to dismiss filed in state court in Orlando is the latest twist in legal battles being played out in federal and state courts among the entertainment giant, DeSantis and the DeSantis-appointed Central Florida Tourism Oversight District.
Last month, Disney filed a First Amendment lawsuit against DeSantis and the DeSantis-appointed board, asking a federal judge to void the governor’s takeover of the theme park district, as well as the oversight board’s actions, on the grounds that they were violations of company’s free speech rights. Disney and DeSantis have been engaged in a tug-of-war for more than a year that has engulfed the GOP governor in criticism as he prepares to launch an expected presidential bid in the coming weeks. The feud started last year after Disney, publicly opposed a state law that bans classroom lessons on sexual orientation and gender identity in early grades, a policy critics call “Don’t Say Gay.”
Newsbusters: The Worst Political Scandal in American History?
Special Counsel John Durham's report reveals that Operation Crossfire Hurricane, the FBI’s investigation into supposed connections between the Trump campaign and the Russian government, was based on sheer conjecture. Hillary Clinton's campaign trafficked this conjecture to initiate the witch hunt into a bevy of allegations that ultimately came to nothing. Top officials at the White House and the FBI were aware of Hillary Clinton’s plan to disseminate false information, and the FBI used that information as the predicate to open a full-scale investigation knowing full well that the Clinton campaign could well be behind the allegations in the first place. This implicates former President Barack Obama, President Joe Biden, James Clapper, John Brennan, and other high officials in weaponization of the government to stop Donald Trump.
The Epoch Times: Parliament Won’t Survive Catastrophic Incident Unless Repaired, MPs Warn
The Palace of Westminster is in critical need of repair works, which have been stalled for years and pose a serious risk to the safety of staff and visitors due to exposure to asbestos, fire hazards, and dropping masonry. The restoration and renewal of the building would be a hard sell to the public due to its estimated cost between £7 billion to £13 billion if the Palace was empty, and works would take between 19 and 28 years. If the building remains in use, the cost would spiral to £22 billion and works could take up to 76 years.
The Blaze: Peter Strzok complains Durham probe 'never should have taken place' after report uncovers damning accusation

Newsbusters: ‘The Planet is Boiling’: ABC’s ‘Station 19’ Says New Voters will Save the World
ABC’s Station 19 pushes leftist propaganda yet again in an episode that praises the newest generation of liberal voters. The episode also worships late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg (aka “The Notorious RBG”) while claiming that the previous generations have wrecked everything, including the planet. The show doesn't give any focus to the newest generation of conservative voters who will vote on facts with common sense rather than fleeting, subjective emotions.

Breitbart: Taxes Meant to Clobber Super Wealthy Will Now Hit One-in-Five
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's Conservative Party has enforced tax hikes that will impact millions of working Britons, with one in five taxpaying adults being affected by tax rates created for the super-wealthy. After freezing the salary for income tax at £12,570 and the higher rate at £50,270 for six years, individuals previously in lower tax bands will be dragged into higher tax brackets. By 2027, 14% of taxpayers will pay the 40% rate, equivalent to 7.8 million people or 20% of taxpayers. Sunak's policies represent the largest tax increase since the 1970s, with 2.1 million more people expected to pay the higher tax rate, which could increase taxes by £26 billion annually.
Many Britons are feeling the impact of this cost of living crisis, with almost three-quarters of a million individuals unable to make recent housing payments. Despite Sunak claiming to be a 'Thatcherite' and in favour of small-government conservatism, his policies will see many more people pay high tax rates created for the super-wealthy. Sunak argues the increases will help clear debts accumulated during the pandemic, but critics argue the crises in both living costs and the NHS will make this an increasing topic before the general election scheduled for next year. Many are demanding a clear plan to bring income tax rates down and unfreeze the thresholds to ease the pressure on families' finances.

The Epoch Times: South Korea Bets Arsenal Ships Will Give North Korea and China Second Thoughts
South Korea plans to invest in the old military concept of an arsenal ship, taking a large, low-cost civilian commercial ship and adding vertical launchers and missiles capable of destroying enemy shore targets. The decision was spurred by the threat of North Korean nuclear weapons and Chinese conventional air and missile fires, as the South now boasts enormous mobile firepower that will deter a surprise attack. Although the US has abandoned the concept, the South Korean arsenal ships will give Beijing additional doubts about their strategy, particularly if they coordinate with small strike craft.

PJ Media: Weed Is Literally Blowing Young Men's Minds
A recent study by the Mental Health Services in the Capital Region of Denmark and the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) has found that young men who frequently use cannabis have a significantly higher incidence of serious, life-altering psychosis. The study found that young males with what is referred to as “cannabis use disorder” (CUD) showed a higher susceptibility to the effects of cannabis on schizophrenia than females. Young men who frequently use cannabis were estimated to have a 30% higher risk of schizophrenia. This is a growing concern for advocates of legalizing cannabis, as promoting the drug as “harmless” does not reflect medical evidence.
A study reveals that young males who frequently use cannabis face a higher risk of serious, life-altering psychosis. The study has found a direct correlation between cannabis use disorder and schizophrenia. Experts warn that this at-risk demographic can be particularly susceptible, with young men aged between 21-30 having an almost one-third chance of developing the deadly disease. Moreover, this study adds to existing evidence which suggests that the proportion of new schizophrenia cases and diagnosed cannabis use disorder has consistently increased over the past five decades.
