The Epoch Times: Florida Answers Texas Call for Law Enforcement Support at the Southern Border
Florida Answers Texas Call for Law Enforcement Support at the Southern Border
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is deploying over 1,000 state personnel, drones, planes, law enforcement personnel, boats, and more to Texas to help defend the southern border amid the illegal immigration crisis. This comes in response to Texas Governor Greg Abbott calling for help from fellow governors after President Joe Biden ended Title 42 last week. DeSantis states that Florida is ready to help Texas and stands in solidarity with them.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott is calling for urgent help from other US governors in combating illegal immigration following President Biden's decision to end Title 42. He has requested that fellow governors provide help via the Emergency Management Assistance Compact process and to send available law enforcement personnel and resources to the Texas-Mexico border. Abbott highlighted the financial strain placed on Texas and requested assistance in funding border security operations. He expressed gratitude to Idaho and Florida for their recent contributions toward securing the southern border and highlighted various measures he has taken to address the border crisis in the absence of federal action.

Fox News: North Carolina Republicans uphold abortion bill despite Democratic governor's veto
North Carolina Republicans uphold abortion bill despite Democratic governor's veto
Lawmakers in North Carolina have overridden the veto of Democratic Governor Roy Cooper to pass a bill banning most abortions after 12 weeks. The bill was passed by the Republican-dominated legislature using a supermajority in both the Senate and House. Cooper criticised the move, saying, "North Carolinians now understand that Republicans are unified in their assault on women's reproductive freedom and we are energized to fight back on this and other critical issues facing our state." The new law will come into effect on 1 July, limiting abortions in the state to 12 weeks, a significant reduction from the current 20-week limit.

After the bill was passed by the House, supporters of a woman's right to choose chanted "Shame! Shame! Shame!" The new law will contain exemptions for complicated cases, including those where the mother's life is in danger. Cooper has made multiple appeals to Republicans in the state's assembly to vote against the bill. During a rally to protest the proposed new law, he said, "If just one Republican in either the House or the Senate keeps a campaign promise to protect women’s reproductive health, we can stop this ban."

Musk clarified that Soros "wants to erode the very fabric of civilization" and hates humanity. However, Soros was actually a Holocaust perpetrator and not a survivor, willingly selling out fellow Jews and confiscating their property with his Nazi benefactor in Hungary. Soros is a ruthless international currency trader who has almost single-handedly crashed numerous national economies, including the 1997 Asian financial crisis.

California pledges $60M to reintroduce salmon, threatened fish species to Yuba River
California officials announced a $60 million project to build a fishway that would allow salmon and other fish species around a century-old dam to access breeding grounds in the Yuba River. The state and the Yuba River Water Agency will fund the project. The dam blocks off three fish species from migrating up the river to spawn, a situation the National Marine Fisheries Service ruled as posing a threat to their survival. The fishway will open up 12 miles of river for the fish.
