Breitbart: Homeless Americans Kicked Out of NY Hotel to Make Room for Migrants
Homeless Americans are being kicked out of hotels in New York to make room for border crossers and illegal aliens who are being bussed to hotels in neighboring counties. Executives at Ramada Inn in Westchester County told two homeless couples they would have to find another place to stay as Eric Adams, the New York City Mayor, started busing migrants to Westchester County. The evictions are occurring as New Yorkers may soon see migrants living in tents across the city. Homeless Americans are not the only ones being evicted; reports suggest that homeless veterans had to give up their rooms at the Crossroads Hotel, while some Americans with wedding plans had their hotel rooms canceled.

Breitbart: GOP Senators on Trans Athletes Rule: ‘Women Marginalized Yet Again'
Republican senators have asked Joe Biden's administration to withdraw proposed rules that override state laws banning males from playing on female sports teams. The senators argued that the changes were contrary to the original purpose of Title IX legislation, which was designed to protect women and girls. The proposed regulation is part of the Biden administration’s move to include “gender identity” under the definition of sex discrimination. This interpretation of sex discrimination means that people can choose which sex they identify with, beyond biological reality. The move has been criticised for its potential to place girls and women at risk.

Former Ukrainian intelligence officer Roman Chervinskyi has been denied bail by the Kyiv Court of Appeal on 15 May. Chervinskyi denies any wrongdoing, and his defenders emphasized that all of his actions were coordinated at the appropriate level. The charges against him are seen as being politically motivated by some in Ukraine.
Townhall: We Don't Know How to Fight Wars Anymore
Israel and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) engaged in a five-day battle in Gaza, with over 1,100 rockets fired towards Israel and six PIJ commanders assassinated. While Israel's precision in targeting and reducing collateral damage is commendable, it also raises legal issues as the International Criminal Court and civilians demand perfect execution in warfare. Additionally, the cleanliness of warfare prolongs conflicts and creates a false sense of security for both Israelis and Gazans.

Forbes: This Web3 Ready Beauty Brand Is Co-Created By Its Community And Produced Using AI Tech
New beauty brand KIKI is letting customers vote on which new products go into production, starting with a range of high-tech nail polishes called Pretty Nail Graffiti. As well as being refillable, the polishes come with an NFC chip in the caps that pairs with a smartphone app to award loyalty points when they are used, which can be converted to discounts when the voted-for colours go on sale. KIKI's co-founder and CEO, Jana Bobosikova, explained that community involvement in product development was key to building a future-proof brand. While a blockchain-based subscription is not required, it is expected to become increasingly relevant as the company's Web3 proposition within the ecosystem grows.
KIKI's Pretty Nail Graffiti polishes are quick-drying, smell-free and can be peeled off when it's time to change colours. Three basic shades are available to order, with customers able to vote on the next 10 colours, as well as other new products, such as a one-day hair colour and a micro-fluid moisturiser. KIKI's lead time for production of any of the colours is just one month, made possible through robotics and AI. The next phase will launch later this year, including elements of ownership and revenue sharing based on the on-chain proposition. The company aims to work with wholesale partners going forward.

Townhall: In For A Penny, In For A Pound
A mentally deranged man was restrained by Daniel Penny and two others on an NYC subway train. Penny applied a choke hold, likely executed improperly. He now faces prosecution by the District Attorney for killing the man. Democrats in power blame racism instead of acknowledging their own policies that have created a target-rich environment for criminals. NYC residents need to realize they are the architects of their own destruction as long as they continue to empower their deeply bigoted leaders.

Townhall: 'Nuclear Now' Documentary Highlights the Need for Permitting Reforms Now
Filmmaker Oliver Stone suggests building nuclear reactors in Canada due to lengthy permitting process in America. Senator Joe Manchin has introduced the Building American Energy Security Act to reform the decades-long, bureaucratic permitting process for innovative technologies, which can cost millions and take years to approve. Manchin's bill proposes setting permit review timelines, a 150-day statute of limitations for court challenges, and changes to what the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) can consider of national interest. The Inflation Reduction Act, passed earlier this year, could not implement Manchin's permitting reform.
