Breitbart: Exclusive Poll: 59% Oppose Raising Debt Cap with and Without Restrictions
A recent poll shows that 59.2% of American voters oppose raising the debt ceiling without any restrictions on government spending. The poll conducted by Convention of States Action in conjunction with the Trafalgar Group shows that even among Democrats, 71.9% of respondents were in favor of raising the debt ceiling without requiring spending cuts. The House Republicans have passed legislation in the form of the Limit, Save, Grow Act of 2023, which would allow an increase in the debt ceiling while tackling America's national deficit by saving an estimate $4.8 trillion over the next ten years.

Former President Trump received a cease and desist letter from Victor Willis, lead singer of the Village People, over a performance of "Macho Man" at Mar-a-Lago. The letter cites a performance featuring performers dressed to resemble the Village People that has caused confusion with fans and the public, violating the Lanham Act. The letter demands that Trump stop using the Village People "image" in association with songs and his campaign, but he is still allowed to play "Macho Man," "YMCA," and other Village People songs at campaign events.

The Book of Deuteronomy includes a law that instructs the Israelites not to hate the Egyptians who had enslaved them, despite their history. America's Founders often quoted Deuteronomy, and adopting this law would benefit today's America, especially black Americans who are often taught to hate whites. Hatred of whites is prevalent and acceptable in America, and it is perpetuated by the media, universities, Hollywood, and even the President. The lies and animus towards whites are destroying the American nation, and the most obvious antidote is truth, but applying the biblical admonition not to hate Egyptians to Americans, especially black Americans, not to hate whites could also change everything.

Canadian home sales increased by 11.3 percent in April compared to March, while the supply of new listings remained low. The Canadian Real Estate Association reported seasonally-adjusted sales of 38,164 for April, compared to 34,277 in March. However, the number of homes sold in April 2018 was down 19.5 percent from the previous year, though this decline was smaller than those seen recently. While Toronto and British Columbia's lower mainland saw a rebound, the association said they continued to have a disproportionate effect on house prices. Experts suggest the low supply of homes was putting upward pressure on prices.

Media outlet Vice filed for bankruptcy and is being sold to a consortium of lenders, including Soros Fund Management and Fortress Investment. The sale will likely conclude within three months and includes a $20 million cash commitment. Vice has faced challenges in recent years, including allegations of sexual harassment and a "dirty, toxic culture." The sale will "strengthen the Company and position VICE for long-term growth," according to Vice Co-CEOs Bruce Dixon and Hozefa Lokhandwala. The consortium will provide $225 million in the form of a credit bid for most of Vice Media's assets.

The one-off comic book erases Malloy as a woman and re-creates the character as a man who now identifies as female. Archie Comics has indulged in many woke stories in the past, including introducing a gay character in 2010 and holding a same-sex wedding ceremony the following year. In 2014, Archie was portrayed as being shot and killed while trying to protect a gay friend.

The Epoch Times: Fort St John, BC, Tells All 21,000 Residents to Prepare to Evacuate as Fire Nears
The City of Fort St. John has issued an evacuation alert for its 21,000 residents due to a growing out-of-control wildfire that has previously triggered evacuation alerts and orders. Indigenous Services Canada says the Blueberry River First Nations were evacuated due to the fire, which has scorched their traditional territories. The blaze is suspected to be human-caused and has expanded across a large swathe of the regional district. An evacuation order has been expanded, while an alert has been issued for all residents of the District of Taylor. The wildfire service lists the Stoddart Creek blaze as one of five wildfires of note in the province, all near the Alberta boundary, with three burning out of control. Around 17,400 Albertans have been forced from their homes because of wildfires, with close to 90 active fires in that province, and close to 60 active wildfires in BC.

Bobi enjoys a diet of human food and lives in a "calm, peaceful environment" which has contributed to his longevity. He now spends his days in the yard due to difficulty walking and sleeps a lot. His age has been verified by the Veterinary Medical Service of the Municipality of Leiria and a pet database authorized by the Portuguese government.
