Report: Former CIA Director Admits Intel Letter was Political
Former CIA Director John Brennan reportedly admitted that the letter from 51 former intelligence officials discrediting the Hunter Biden laptop story was political. Brennan confirmed during a closed-door hearing with the House Judiciary Committee that the letter was organized in part by former CIA Deputy Director Michael Morell and later driven by then-Biden campaign advisor Antony Blinken. The signatories' visits to the White House underscore that the purpose of the letter was to help Joe Biden win the presidency.

Special Counsel John Durham's report on the DOJ's Trump-Russia investigation questions Rep. Adam Schiff's honesty. After a four-year investigation, Durham found that the FBI opened the investigation on uncorroborated intelligence funded by Trump's political opponents while ignoring leads about the Clinton campaign.

National Review: The Supreme Court Should End the CFPB’s Reign of Regulatory Terror
The Supreme Court Should End the CFPB’s Reign of Regulatory Terror
The CFPB has failed to protect consumers from fraud, instead making it more difficult for lower-income Americans to access loans and credit cards. Senate Republicans have called the agency “lawless and unaccountable”, with an “arrogant regulatory ethos” that harms millions of Americans. The CFPB is effectively unaccountable and has stretched and abused its regulatory powers beyond its remit. Its unconstitutional actions have led to unnecessary costs for businesses and households. The Supreme Court should rule the CFPB’s charter and funding unconstitutional, and defund the agency altogether.

The Real Reason Why Tucker Carlson Was Fired Has Been Revealed: Report
Fox News' decision to cancel Tucker Carlson's show was reportedly part of an unwritten promise made to Dominion Voting Systems as part of a settlement agreement in a lawsuit. Dominion sued Fox News for its coverage of claims about Dominion's equipment in the aftermath of the 2020 presidential election. According to a report in Variety, Dominion wanted to inflict long-term damage on Fox News and hoped that by blacking out the network's top-rated show, the network would lose viewers. The report claimed that if Fox refused to get rid of Carlson, the settlement was off and Fox News could take its chances in a jury trial.

Fox News: Democrats may have an opportunity to make Republicans sweat
Democrats may have an opportunity to make Republicans sweat
House Democrats have not made any efforts to expel indicted Rep. George Santos, R-NY, even though they have tools at their disposal to force an expulsion vote in the House. Santos has pleaded not guilty to charges that he lied to Congress, stole cash from his campaign and cheated to collect unemployment benefits he did not deserve. Article I, Section 5 of the Constitution grants lawmakers the right to expel fellow lawmakers, which can be carried out with the introduction of a "privileged resolution" to expel Santos. However, the Democrats have not executed the gambit, leaving Santos to remain in Congress for now.

The 'Queen Of Mommy Bloggers' And The Need For Community
Heather Armstrong, known as "Dooce", once an internet sensation, committed suicide. While her struggles with mental health were well-known, Armstrong was also known for her blunt and confessional writing in which she made cruel observations about her co-workers. Armstrong's snarky, unflinching writing and feminist tendencies garnered both appreciation and criticism. Despite her flaws, she struck a chord with many people who shared her struggles with the loss of community and the trend towards atomization in modern life. Her legacy ultimately reflects the importance of forgiveness and traditional, meaningful communities.

Expert explains what Hungary’s troops were really up to at Ukraine border when Russia struck
Hungary sent troops to Ukraine's border in February 2022 as a contingency plan in case of a humanitarian crisis and massive refugee wave, not to attack Ukraine. The deployment was purely defensive and driven by the need to address potential humanitarian crises, manage the implications of the conflict, and ensure its own security.

The Epoch Times: Senators Rip Former Silicon Valley Bank CEO for Executive Payouts Prior to Bank's Collapse
Senators Rip Former Silicon Valley Bank CEO for Executive Payouts Prior to Bank's Collapse
Senators criticize the former CEO of Silicon Valley Bank (SVB), Greg Becker, for distributing bonuses and selling stock in the bank shortly before its collapse. Senators denounce Becker’s actions, stating that he paid himself a $1.5 million cash bonus even as the company declined. SVB suffered from a bank run and was taken over by regulators in March 2022. Senators raise concerns that regulators issued over 30 supervisory warnings to SVB before its collapse, information that was not made public at the time. Becker sold $3.6 million worth of SVB stock on February 27, shortly before regulators seized the bank. Senator Brown (D-Ohio) is currently working on a bill that aims to empower regulators to reclaim compensation from executives of failed banks.

Senators criticize SVB for its rapid growth and compensation policies that rewarded executives for taking on excessive risks without hedging against the risk of rising interest rates. Senators direct their scrutiny towards Becker due to the collapse of SVB, which sparked a crisis of confidence in banks and compelled regulators to safeguard all of SVB’s uninsured deposits. Since March, three out of the four largest bank failures in the United States have occurred. Becker told senators that no bank could have withstood the social media-fueled bank run on SVB. SVB faced a withdrawal of $42 billion from its depositors, consisting of tech companies and venture capitalists, in a single day. Senators assert that SVB’s actions were driven by excessive greed and emphasized that the company had failed to fill key risk management positions.

Catsimatidis' remarks reflect similar worries shared by other business magnates, including Whole Foods co-founder John Mackey and tech executive Keith Rabois. Gen Z workers prioritize work-life balance and are less willing to tolerate poor working conditions, indicating a generational shift that could present challenges for businesses in the future.

Scrutiny of courthouse fashion has even led to fan pages being started on Instagram for lawyers like Camille Vasquez.
