The Epoch Times: House GOP Requests Testimony From Durham as Report on FBI Probe Into Trump Campaign Released
House GOP Requests Testimony From Durham as Report on FBI Probe Into Trump Campaign Released
House Judiciary Republicans have requested that Special Counsel John Durham testify before Congress on May 25. This comes following the release of Durham's report into the FBI's probe into the Trump campaign. The report found that the FBI had mishandled the investigation with insufficient evidence of collusion at the start of the Crossfire Hurricane probe. Republicans have criticized federal agencies for being “weaponized” against Trump and wanting political results instead of enforcing the rule of law. Meanwhile, the FBI has acknowledged its mistakes and implemented dozens of corrective actions in response to the Durham report.

Breitbart: Ratcliffe: 'Trump Russia' Probe Was 'Aways Dems Politicizing Intelligence'
Ratcliffe: 'Trump Russia' Probe Was 'Aways Dems Politicizing Intelligence'
John Ratcliffe, former Director of National Intelligence, has stated that John Durham's Report confirms that the FBI's investigation into the Trump campaign for Russian collusion "was always Dems politicizing intelligence." Ratcliffe had asked to see all U.S. intelligence of "Trump Russia collusion," but found none and later reported the same to Special Counsel John Durham. Durham's report concluded that the Department and the FBI failed to uphold their important mission and that senior FBI personnel displayed a serious lack of analytical rigor towards the information they received. The report evidences that neither U.S. law enforcement nor the Intelligence Community appears to have possessed any actual evidence of collusion at the commencement of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.

Fox News: GREG GUTFELD: The woke mob is reshaping the narrative to make Jordan Neely a martyr
GREG GUTFELD: The woke mob is reshaping the narrative to make Jordan Neely a martyr
Daniel Penny, a Marine veteran, is facing charges for the fatal choking of Jordan Neely, a mentally ill and violent homeless man who threatened subway passengers. Neely had a history of attacking subway riders before his death, but the media is casting him as a martyr and reshaping the narrative to focus on race and police brutality. Meanwhile, the city's homeless service industry is a lucrative business, and social programs designed to help the homeless don't always work, leading to more homeless criminals roaming transit and disrupting the safety of passengers. The defendant, Penny, needs support against those who perpetuate racial division and attack the police.

President Biden's recent statement that racism has long torn people apart and that white supremacy is the most dangerous terrorist threat to the homeland only serves to divide people and make them easier to conquer. Rent-seeking crooks make money off maintaining racial strife, and the true threat is an extremist ideology that transcends race. By telling Black graduates that they're entering a world of invisible White devils, Biden is promoting a false narrative and ignoring the fact that the biggest problem facing the country is not racism, but political polarization and intolerance of differing opinions.

Fox News: St. Louis prosecutor seeks to free man serving life sentence for 1990 murder: 'Wrongful conviction'
St. Louis prosecutor seeks to free man serving life sentence for 1990 murder: 'Wrongful conviction'
St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner seeks to void Christopher Dunn's 33-year murder conviction, citing "clear and convincing evidence" of his potential innocence, as per current law that allows court hearings on new evidence of wrongful convictions. Dunn was convicted for the 1990 death of Ricco Rogers, with witnesses later recanting their testimony due to coercion by state officials. Gardner previously succeeded in overturning two convictions under the same law. Gardner's office has not made a statement on whether it faced opposition from Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey's office.

Amid allegations of neglecting her duties and mishandling cases, Kim Gardner, St. Louis Circuit Attorney, announced her resignation effective June 1. After being backed by George Soros, who is a Democrat mega-donor, on both runs for the position, Gardner faced criticism over slow prosecutions and releasing criminals while leaving the victims uninformed. Gardner's resignation occurs as her office seeks to vacate Christopher Dunn's 33-year murder conviction after evidence has emerged of state officials coercing witnesses. The process allows for court hearings on new evidence of wrongful convictions, with two previous exonerations; Lamar Johnson and Kevin Strickland.

Townhall: A Biblical Law That Would Change American Life
A Biblical Law That Would Change American Life
The Bible's Book of Deuteronomy instructs the Israelites not to hate Egyptians right after their liberation from slavery. America's Founders quoted this book the most, and this law prohibiting hatred is still relevant today - especially with the hatred of whites being the most prevalent, and even acceptable, in America. This lie of whites being racist towards blacks is tearing the nation apart and is doing irreparable harm to black Americans. The truth needs to be spread to combat this hatred or apply the biblical admonition to black Americans not to hate whites to make a change.

Euromaidan Press: Opposition MPs see trial against intel officer charged with “unauthorized operation” as revenge by President’s Office
Opposition MPs see trial against intel officer charged with “unauthorized operation” as revenge by President’s Office
Former Ukrainian intelligence officer Roman Chervinskyi has been denied bail by the Kyiv Court of Appeal on 15 May. He is currently on trial for an allegedly unauthorized military operation that investigators believe led to a Russian missile attack on Kanatove airfield in Kirovohrad Oblast on 23 July 2022. The trial is viewed by a group of opposition MPs as political revenge by the President’s Office. Chervinskyi denies any wrongdoing, and his defenders emphasized that all of his actions were coordinated at the appropriate level. The charges against him are seen as being politically motivated by some in Ukraine.

Breitbart Business Digest: The Market Is More Dovish Than the Fed's Top Dove
Fed officials are trying to steer the market away from expectations of rate cuts later in the year, with some warning that future rate hikes are still possible. Atlanta Fed President Bostic believes no cuts will be made until well into 2024, and Minneapolis Fed President Kashkari states the Fed has "more work to do" to bring inflation down. Newly appointed Chicago Fed President Austan Goolsbee appears to be the most dovish FOMC member, but even he doesn't seem set for rate cuts. Currently, the market is more dovish than any member of the Federal Open Market Committee.

The president's plans include $350 million dedicated to mental health services, expanded background checks, and investigation of "ghost guns" that are built without serial numbers. The Safer America Plan is part of a $37 billion initiative to hire and train 100,000 new officers in community policing.

WATCH: ESPN Asks Red Sox Player About His Deceased Mother During In-Game Interview
During Sunday Night Baseball, ESPN's Karl Ravech asked Red Sox infielder Triston Casas about his deceased mother, causing an emotional moment for Casas. Casas lost his mother when he was nine years old. Casas replied that he has many mother figures in his life and that he knows his mother is watching him every day. Mic'd up players doing interviews during games is already crazy enough without bringing up players' painful memories.

Breitbart: Washington U. Doctor Raises Alarm About Fentanyl-Laced Marijuana
Washington U. Doctor Raises Alarm About Fentanyl-Laced Marijuana
Illicit forms of fentanyl are being added to marijuana by drug traffickers to increase addictive qualities. The DEA reported that fentanyl mainly comes from Mexico and China. Toxicology results from patients from Dr. Michael Wenzinger at Washington University have shown fentanyl in their system when they thought they were smoking marijuana. Fentanyl-laced marijuana has also caused many overdoses, even leading to death. Wenzinger believes marijuana in general can pose serious mental health concerns for young adults and teens such as the development of schizophrenia. Parents need to talk with their kids because what they are used to from their childhood is different from the potency of what is being dealt with now. THC, the chemical in marijuana which makes someone high, has increased in potency by 200%.
