American Thinker: We’ve won the culture war, but that’s not enough
We’ve won the culture war, but that’s not enough
Anheuser-Busch suffered a sales hit after putting a man posing as a woman on packaging, proving Big Woke can fail. Many companies and sports leagues have gone woke, insulting their audiences and suffering losses. Local officials can stop Democrat election fraud, but many are too uninformed to tackle the issue. The radical Left is a small minority, but ballot fraud can still challenge the true vote. The cultural battle may be lost, but the ballot war remains.

Washington Free Beacon: Mike Pence Allies Launch Super PAC To Back Presidential Bid
Mike Pence Allies Launch Super PAC To Back Presidential Bid
Former Vice President Mike Pence's allies launched a Super PAC committed to America on Tuesday to garner support for his expected run for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination. The political action committee will be led by former U.S. Representative Jeb Hensarling and longstanding Republican strategist Scott Reed, who praised Pence's experience and policy credentials. However, Pence's standing up to former President Donald Trump has not won him broad support among Republicans who remain loyal to the former president, with Trump maintaining a commanding lead in the 2024 Republican primary race.

Fox News: Tennessee Gov. Lee signs bills to shield gunmakers, place armed guards at schools in wake of Covenant shooting
Tennessee Gov. Lee signs bills to shield gunmakers, place armed guards at schools in wake of Covenant shooting
Republican Tennessee Governor Bill Lee signed a bill last week that grants gun sellers, manufacturers, and dealers protection against lawsuits. The legislation, which will go into effect on July 1, prevents anyone from bringing a qualified civil liability action in court against a dealer, manufacturer, or seller of a firearm, ammunition, or a component part of a firearm or ammunition, with some exceptions. This comes after a 28-year-old former student shot and killed three young children and three adults with semi-automatic rifles and a handgun at the Nashville Covenant School on March 27. Authorities have the shooter's unredacted manifesto, but it has not been publicly released yet.

In response to the Covenant School shooting, Governor Lee passed strong school safety legislation into law, allocating $230 million to enhance safety at public and private schools across Tennessee. Lee's office announced that he plans to call lawmakers back into an August special session "to strengthen public safety and preserve constitutional rights" after they adjourned last month without taking up his "temporary mental health order of protection" proposal. The governor also introduced a bill to enhance school safety protocols and strengthen physical security at every public school. Moreover, he proposed an initial budget of $30 million to hire 122 Homeland Security agents to serve students at both public and private schools in every Tennessee county. Governor Lee emphasized that the safety of Tennessee students and teachers is his top priority.

The Epoch Times: Anti-Capitalist ‘Pay What You Can’ Café Goes Bust
Anti-Capitalist ‘Pay What You Can’ Café Goes Bust
Anarchist coffee shop in Toronto shuts down after failing to generate enough revenue despite operating on a "pay what you can" model. The owner blamed the lack of wealth and generational wealth/seed capital from ethically bankrupt sources for the failure. The owner expressed his hatred for the misanthropy of capitalism and encouraged the hiring of people from minority identities. In the past, the coffee shop made posts on Instagram regarding white cis men, Christianity, and the Canadian government. The Anarchist is not the first woke business to shut shop; another similar example is Mina's World cafe in Philadelphia which also shut down after employees revolted against the owners.

Bill O’Reilly: Bud Light Parent Company Should Just ‘Shut Up’ and CEO Should Be Fired
Bill O'Reilly criticizes Anheuser-Busch, the parent company of Bud Light, for blaming its ad agency for the backlash from a partnership with transgender actor Dylan Mulvaney. He advises the company to stop doing anything and just bring back the Clydesdales and their Christmas commercials, stating that Anheuser-Busch is making the situation worse. O'Reilly and Michael Knowles believe that the CEO of Anheuser-Busch should be fired, with Knowles adding that the Dylan Mulvaney endorsement was not a one-time thing. Bud Light has experienced a fall in sales and Anheuser-Busch has suffered major losses as a result.

The Epoch Times: McCarthy Says Biden Might Have a 'Secret Plan' on Debt Ceiling
McCarthy Says Biden Might Have a 'Secret Plan' on Debt Ceiling
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy says Biden might have a "secret plan" to avoid a debt default, and he is all for it. Republicans demand spending cuts in exchange for the lifting of the $31.4tn debt cap. Biden has insisted on a “clean” bill to raise the cap, drawing criticism from Republicans who say he could “bumble his way into a default.” Many in the Biden administration, including Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and White House National Economic Council director Lael Brainard, have said a default would be "catastrophic." Spreads on 1-year credit default swaps, a gauge of default risk, climbed to a record high of 172 basis points on May 10. The probability that the US will enter a recession within the next year has risen to 68.2%, according to the New York Fed.

CNN Explains Why Egg Prices Soared, Gets It All Wrong
Egg prices recently surpassed beef prices for the first time since 1980, with a dozen large eggs averaging $4.82 in January 2023, a 70% increase from the year before. CNN suggests falling egg prices are a result of "a reversal of supply-demand trends," as retail prices continued to surge while Midwest large eggs wholesale suddenly fell to just $0.94 per dozen, a relief for consumers who have been paying $7, $8 and even $10 a dozen. However, Farm Action suggests that egg producers used avian flu and inflation to falsely justify price increases of up to 40% on a staple food, revealing a multimillion dollar collusive scheme to gouge consumers that is finally being exposed.

Forbes: Urgent Military Need For ‘Affordable Mass’ Can’t Wait For A New Generation Of Smart Munitions
Urgent Military Need For ‘Affordable Mass’ Can’t Wait For A New Generation Of Smart Munitions
The US military's overinvestment in "exquisite" weapons has led to a deficiency in mass that could leave them ill-prepared to defeat a near-peer adversary like China. Experts suggest an increase in low-cost precision munitions and modifications to existing weapons, such as the Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System. This system upgrades cheap Hydra rockets to achieve pinpoint accuracy and causes minimal collateral danger. Companies like BAE Systems are pursuing low-cost solutions to make munitions more agile and accurate. They suggest that modifications to existing weapons may be the only way to be ready for war in this decade. The military needs affordable mass to supplement its exquisite weapons, and BAE Systems' Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System bridges the gap between low-cost "dumb" munitions and costly smart munitions.

Human Events: EU study reveals overweight boys have smaller testicles, higher risk of infertility
EU study reveals overweight boys have smaller testicles, higher
risk of infertility
Overweight and obese boys between the ages of nine and 14 have testicles 50% smaller than their average-weight peers, and are at higher risk of lower sperm count and infertility. Additionally, boys who had hyperinsulinemia had testicles that were up to 50% smaller than their peers, according to a study published in the European Journal of Endocrinology. Scientists have warned that this can ultimately lead to heat stress on the scrotum.

The prevalence of obesity in the United States rose from 30.5% to 41.9% between 1999-2000 and 2017-2020, with severe obesity more than doubling, according to the CDC. The drop in male sperm count from 104 million per milliliter in 1973 to 49 million in 2019 suggests that it is now a threat to human survival. Scientists speculate that more careful control of body weight in childhood could be a prevention strategy for maintaining testicular function later in life.

Women testified in the trial that church officials kept them from reporting the abuse to authorities and that the Church of Scientology, of which Masterson is a member and all three women are former members, played a larger role in the second trial.

Daily Wire: Man Previously Charged In Wife’s Disappearance Maintains Innocence, Sues Colorado Authorities
Man Previously Charged In Wife’s Disappearance Maintains Innocence, Sues Colorado Authorities
Barry Morphew, who was previously charged in the disappearance and presumed death of his wife, Suzanne, claims authorities never looked at anyone else for the crime, stating that police had "tunnel vision." Although charges were dismissed without prejudice, meaning authorities may charge him again in the future, a judge noted in April 2021 that DNA evidence excluded him as the source of DNA found at the crime scene. Morphew has filed a $15 million lawsuit against Chaffee County, prosecutors, and employees of the Colorado Bureau of Investigation and the FBI for their role in his arrest.

Foreign unknown male DNA found at the crime scene partially matched DNA found in three unsolved sexual assault investigations in Tempe, Phoenix, and Chicago. CBI agents Cahill and Graham did not believe Morphew should be arrested without further forensic testing, but Chaffee County Sheriff's Commander Alex Walker wrote a 129-page affidavit in support of arresting him. However, the affidavit "failed to inform the judge of said DNA and that Barry Morphew was excluded as the source." Suzanne's body has never been found. Morphew claims he is innocent and that he has "done nothing wrong," but notes that he could be arrested again.

The ad, which was first published in March, encouraged the donation of fertiliser to support female hop cultivators. Molson Coors, the parent company of Miller Lite, encouraged beer drinkers to find humour in the ad, but social media users slammed the campaign, criticising the brand's support of social justice and intersectionality. #(society)
