The Blaze: Elementary school gym turned into migrant shelter despite community outrage — ‘No timeframe’ regarding when building will be returned to children, says NYC council member
A school gym in New York has become a temporary shelter for over 75 migrants and their families. Local outrage erupted after parents were only informed two days prior to their arrival. Questions were raised about the facility's use, safety concerns and the lack of notification. Republican Council member Ari Kagan accused the Democratic Mayor Eric Adams' administration of intentionally keeping residents in the dark while Democratic Council member Justin Brannan stated that it was still unclear how long the migrants will need to stay. School agents requested federal assistance while City Hall press secretary Fabien Levy stated that more emergency shelters were being opened as they were out of space.
The New American: Has the Border Crisis Peaked? - The New American
Despite fears that the end of Title 42 would cause a surge in illegal migration at the US-Mexico border, data suggests that this did not occur. The truth about the border crisis and its future remains uncertain.

PJ Media: Reversal of Misfortune: Eric Adams Wants 'Revisit' Sanctuary City Status for NYC
NYC Mayor Eric Adams asks judge to "revisit" city's sanctuary law due to the challenges of unchecked illegal immigration. Adams has resorted to busing illegals out of Gotham and suspending the city's right-to-shelter rules for illegals. Hotels are turning away paying guests and canceling reservations to accommodate those who arrived under the Biden immigration plan. The city has already cared for more than 61,000 migrants in the last year and is now at its limit. Gotham has hung out its "no vacancy" sign.

Daily Wire: FBI Whistleblowers To Testify How Bureau Allegedly Abused Power In J6 Capitol Riot Investigations
House Republicans summoned three FBI whistleblowers to testify about alleged abuses of power by the bureau, including targeting conservatives, inflating domestic violent extremism statistics to fit a political narrative for the Biden administration, and prioritizing January 6 investigations over child sex crimes. Former agent Steve Friend accused the FBI of creating false and misleading crime statistics and said the bureau elected to use an “atypical” method in opening up a separate case for every subject, instead of grouping them into a one-time case, thereby making it look like there is a rise in domestic terrorism. FBI officials have denied politically motivated decision making.
Former FBI special agents Garret O’Boyle and Steve Friend, and former FBI State Operations Specialist Marcus Allen, are expected to testify in a subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government. The Daily Mail reports that the whistleblower’s testimonies will also reveal an alleged direction by FBI officials to prioritize investigating child exploitation cases by suspects with ties to foreign governments, rather than those involving Americans. Republicans have also summoned President of Empower Oversight Tristan Leavitt to testify, while the FBI has denied the allegations.
The Epoch Times: Poilievre Says Gov't Attempting to Remake Canada From 'Blank Slate'
The leader of Canada's Conservative Party, Pierre Poilievre, accused the Liberal government of removing historical symbols in a bid to reshape the country along governmental ideology. In a video, Poilievre pointed to the new passport design, which now features generic drawings, replacing historic figures and events depictions. He also referenced recently adopted Bill C-21, which seeks to put online platforms under regulatory control and earlier comments by Justin Trudeau praising China's "basic dictatorship" and calling Fidel Castro "legendary." Immigration Minister Sean Fraser said the new design came about through consultations. Poilievre linked the removal of symbols to the toppling of statues and Canada's democratic inheritance.
The Epoch Times: Durham Report: Senior FBI Officials 'Displayed Serious Lack of Analytical Rigor' in Trump-Russia Probe
The long-awaited Durham report, obtained by The Epoch Times, concludes that FBI officials showed a "serious lack of analytical rigor" in their handling of information in relation to the Russia investigation and were unable to corroborate any substantive allegations in the Steele Dossier. The report details errors and omissions made by the FBI and DOJ, including the failure to inform the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court of inconsistencies in the dossier and the bureau's repeated disregard of significant exculpatory evidence. The report concludes that the FBI violated federal criminal statutes, including the prohibition against making false statements to federal officials, though it stops short of recommending criminal charges against anyone.
The Federalist: Durham Report Finds New York Times Peddled Fake News
A report by Special Counsel John Durham finds that The New York Times published fake news in 2017 about Trump's campaign contacts with Russian officials, which was later proven to be untrue. Durham's report also reveals that neither US law enforcement nor the Intelligence Community possessed any actual evidence of collusion at the commencement of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation. The report serves to highlight the origins of the Russia hoax established by Attorney General William Barr.
The Epoch Times: Informant Linked to Biden Bribery Allegations Now ‘Missing,’ Rep. Comer Says
GOP House Oversight and Accountability Committee Chairman James Comer has stated that an informant, linked to allegations that President Joe Biden was involved in a quid-pro-quo bribery scheme, has gone missing. Comer made the statement while referencing an FBI informant’s report, called an FD-1023, that the FBI allegedly has in its possession, according to a whistleblower who shared the report’s existence with Sen. Chuck Grassley’s (R-Iowa) office. The FBI’s lack of cooperation was just part of a larger pattern of behaviour by the bureau suggesting there had been a “cover-up for many years” of the Biden family’s “influence-peddling.”
In a recent interview, Comer accused the FBI of obstructing the committee’s ongoing investigation into the Biden family and possible corruption. Previously, Comer subpoenaed the FBI to provide all FD-1023 documents containing the word “Biden”. Christopher Dunham, acting assistant director of the FBI’s Office of Congressional Affairs, sent Comer a letter explaining the bureau’s “particularly strong interests in protecting the integrity and confidentiality of such law enforcement sensitive information.” The congressman added that the whistleblower who came forward to Congress about the informant’s report is “very credible” and knows who the informant is. If the FBI fails to provide the subpoenaed document, the committee will pursue legal recourse.
Red State: Durham Report Wasn't Even Released Officially Before Media Tried to Spin It Away
The Durham Report found no evidence to justify going after Trump's campaign on Russia collusion. Clinton's plan to smear Trump was briefed to Obama, Biden, Lynch, and Comey. FBI made "no effort" to investigate "the Clinton campaign's acceptance of an illegal 'campaign contribution that was made by the FBI's own long-term CHS.'" FBI leadership pressured to get the FISA on Carter Page, which led to lying and false statements. Despite media spin, the report criticizes the FBI for not corroborating allegations in the Steele dossier and ignoring exculpatory information. No further charges expected.
The Federalist: Durham Report Reveals FBI Vendetta Against Carter Page
The FBI targeted former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page after he refused to work for the agency as a federal informant. Page's past experience in the energy industry included contact with Russian nationals between 2009 and 2013. The agency's probe, known as "Crossfire Hurricane," ultimately exonerated the president and found no evidence of collusion with Kremlin officials to capture the White House. Former FBI attorney Kevin Clinesmith pled guilty in August 2020 to falsifying a warrant to spy on Page and was given one year of probation and 400 hours of community service.
The Epoch Times: House Passes Official Languages Bill to Enshrine Francophone Immigration in Law
Bill C-13 passes the House of Commons, modernizing Official Languages Act to protect French language in federal workplaces and introducing francophone immigration program for first time in history. Montreal MP Anthony Housefather was the only one to vote against bill over concerns for English-speaking minority in Quebec.
Daily Wire: Trump Responds To Findings In Special Counsel John Durham’s Report On Origins Of Russia Probe
Former President Trump claims Americans were "scammed" after special counsel John Durham's report found that the FBI had no evidence to support the launch of the Trump-Russia investigation. Durham's report highlighted differences in how the FBI approached the Trump probe compared to other politically sensitive investigations.
The Federalist: Obama Admin Had No Evidence Of Trump-Russia Collusion
The FBI had no evidence of collusion between Trump and Russia before launching an investigation into his campaign, according to a report from Special Counsel John Durham. The investigation called Crossfire Hurricane was launched after FBI received a report from Australian intelligence that George Papadopoulos, an unpaid foreign policy advisor for Trump had made concerning comments about the Russians having dirt on Clinton. The investigation was based on "raw, unanalyzed, and uncorroborated intelligence" and was found to be lacking in evidence; furthermore, officials failed to inform Trump or his team when launching inquiries, but inform Clinton and other officials as necessary. The report also called into question the Steele Dossier which was used to acquire a FISA warrant to spy on Trump's campaign and its affiliates.
The Epoch Times: All Race All the Time
Democrats’ support of identity politics and discrimination based on race has made them the party of neo-segregation, according to the philosophy of Ibram X. Kendi. Affirmative action was initially meant to desensitize people to race, but it had the opposite effect of making us hypersensitive to race. President Joe Biden recently spoke at Howard University and claimed that white supremacy is “the most dangerous terrorist threat” to the country, but critics have pointed out that the demand for white racism in America far exceeds the supply. Democrats require the black vote to stay in office, and race hucksters like Ibram X. Kendi know this. Joe Biden has fanned the flames of racial animosity.
Fox News: Trump says there 'must be a heavy price to pay' for Comey, Democrats after release of Durham report
Former President Trump speaks out about John Durham's report, which found that the Department of Justice and FBI did not uphold their mission of "strict fidelity to the law" when launching the Trump-Russia probe. Trump says that Democrats must be held accountable for years of accusations, calling the investigation a "treasonous charade" that the American public has suffered from. The Durham report criticized past FBI leadership, specifically former Director James Comey and former Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, as having a "serious lack of analytical rigor" and showing reliance on information provided by Trump's political opponents.
Forbes: Trump Avoids Definitive Stance On Abortion—But Suggests DeSantis’ 6-Week Ban Is ‘Too Harsh’
Trump declined to voice his support for Florida's restrictive new abortion law but said he was considering all alternatives. He claimed nobody but him could have reversed Roe v. Wade and reiterated his support for exceptions to abortion bans. The majority of Americans are dissatisfied with the country's abortion laws, according to a February Gallup poll. #
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed a six-week abortion ban in April, though it will only go into effect if the Supreme Court rejects a challenge to the state's current 15-week law. The Republican Party, including Trump, has struggled to reach a consensus on abortion restrictions. Sen. Tim Scott backed a 20-week abortion ban, presidential contender Asa Hutchinson supports a federal ban but signed a near-total ban in his state. #
The Epoch Times: 20-Week Abortion Ban 'Not Realistic' at Federal Level, Nikki Haley Says
Nikki Haley, a possible Republican presidential nominee for 2024, thinks the media is exaggerating the Republican Party's stance on a federal abortion ban. She believes the topic is being used to divide people further. Haley is in favor of a 20-week ban in her home state of South Carolina, but she thinks each state should decide which stance to take. She also said that Republicans don't have the votes for a national standard, and instead suggested that President Biden and Vice President Harris should clarify where they draw the line on legal abortion. Former President Trump, the leading candidate for the Republican nomination, has not taken a definitive stance on banning abortion on a national level.
Washington Free Beacon: 'Sobering': Durham Report Finds FBI Had Insufficient Basis to Open Trump-Russia Probe
Durham's report found that the FBI did not have enough evidence to warrant a full investigation into ties between the Trump campaign and Russia in 2016. Durham noted that the FBI's treatment of the Trump campaign was in contrast to its handling of information about Hillary Clinton's campaign. The report casts doubt on the FBI's justification for opening its counterintelligence investigation, called Crossfire Hurricane, into the Trump campaign.

The Federalist Papers: Two Month Old Miller Lite Commercial That Just Resurfaced Has Many Calling For a New Boycott
Miller Lite’s Women’s History Month initiative to turn sexist beer ads into compost for hops cultivation by female brewers has recently resurfaced on Twitter, drawing attention from conservatives who mistake it for a recent attempt to compete with Bud Light’s association with transgender influencer, Dylan Mulvaney. The video, featuring comedian Ilana Glazer, encourages viewers to donate offensive beer ads to Miller Lite so they can be converted into “good s***” and given to female brewers to make their beer. However, Miller Lite’s focus on social issues may not resonate with their core consumer base of working-class male beer drinkers.

Breitbart: Former Pakistani PM Imran Khan Calls for Nationwide ‘Freedom’ Protests
Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan called for nationwide protests on Saturday night after he was released from jail on Friday. This occurred after a week of violent demonstrations following his arrest and many observers believe the army is trying to keep him from power or assassinate him. Many also believe Khan’s allegations that the army is working against him and staged his arrest to punish him for his insults. However, the Pakistani military denies any involvement in his arrest and has issued a public warning to Khan and his party that no further attempts to violate the security of military installations will be allowed. The National Assembly passed a resolution condemning the Pakistani Supreme Court for ordering Khan’s release. His wife, Bushra Bibi, was granted bail on Monday and released until May 23.

The Epoch Times: Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 Vaccine Becomes Unavailable in US
Johnson & Johnson's COVID-19 vaccine is no longer available in the US as it expired on May 7. After regulators limited the vaccine in 2022, uptake slowed due to concerns about its link to blood clotting, myocarditis, and pericarditis. Dr. Michael Saag acknowledged that the removal of the vaccine was "not monumental" as vaccines like Pfizer and Moderna dominate the market. Despite the expiration, the FDA's emergency use authorization for Janssen's vaccine is still viable, and the CDC recommends those who received the vaccine should get another COVID-19 vaccine dose.
The US government paid approximately $1 billion for 100 million doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, 31.5 million of which have been distributed across the country. The remaining doses will be wasted. The CDC advises healthcare workers to dispose of any remaining doses that comply with regulations. Johnson & Johnson's COVID-19 vaccine reported $747 million in sales during Q1 2022, all of which were made outside the US. While the bivalent shots have replaced the older messenger RNA vaccines, Dr. Harvey Risch believes the current vaccines are not generally useful products for serving public health functions.

PJ Media: Miller Lite Sees Bud Light Go Woke and Go Broke, Says ‘Hold My Beer’
Miller Lite released a new advertisement catering to woke culture, which features a feminist criticising beer companies for putting women in bikinis instead of paying homage to the "founding mothers of beer." The ad campaign is called “The Good $#!T” and asks people to send in old magazines with beer ads depicting bikini-clad women to be shredded and used as fertilizer. Despite Bud Lite's misfortune with similarly styled ads, Miller Lite appears to have taken the opposite lesson.
Daily Wire: Seinfeld’s 25th Anniversary And Comedy In The Woke Age
Could Seinfeld, the classic "show about nothing," be made today? Mel Brooks has claimed that his hit film Blazing Saddles could never be made now due to the "death of comedy" brought about by political correctness. The hypersensitivity of cancel culture means that comedy, which requires a thick-skinned audience to work, is a casualty of the Left's psychological fragility. This is a steeper cultural price to pay than we may realize, as a people who cannot laugh at themselves are an unhappy, fragile bunch.

The Epoch Times: Canada Faces Shortage of Medication to Treat Coronary Heart Artery Disease
Health Canada warns of a current shortage of nitroglycerin tablets for treating chest pain in patients with coronary heart artery disease due to an increase in demand and a shortage of raw materials used to make the spray version of the drug. The three companies that market Nitroglycerin Sublingual Spray, Mylan, Sanofi, and Sandoz, are all reporting shortages because of these reasons. Health Canada is working with partners such as the Canadian Pharmacists Association, the Canadian Cardiovascular Society, and the Heart & Stroke Foundation to conserve existing supply, expedite resupplies, access foreign-authorized supply or alternatives, keep expired products, and only obtain the necessary amount of the product. The increased demand may be due to Canada's aging population and reduced medical appointments due to COVID-19.
Red State: Now We Know What NIH Was Funding At Boston Children's Hospital
The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) has been identified as the driving force behind the fast pervasiveness of transgender imagery and ideology in western culture. Its Corporate and Healthcare Equality Indexes score hospitals and firms based on inclusion and diversity policies. The indexes are funded by trade associations that lobby on behalf of pharmaceutical companies, such as PhRMA, and big pharma, such as Pfizer. To earn a perfect score, hospitals must enact several practices, such as explicitly providing gender dysphoria treatment and not allowing medical conscience exemptions. In related news, almost a dozen youths in a study for experimental transgender medical intervention experienced suicidal thoughts and ideation, while two committed suicide, and the drugs used may sterilize them. The National Institutes of Health granted $477,444 in a five-year grant to the study, which was published in January in the New England Journal of Medicine .
