Townhall: We’ve Been Blacklisted, Again
Conservative news outlet Townhall has warned of the US federal government and Big Tech's partnership in censoring news outlets, punishing political opponents, and influencing elections. A recent op-ed by a retired Navy Captain warning about the dangers of Joe Biden's open border policies was flagged as "hate speech" and removed from Facebook. Additionally, the site has been blacklisted for advertising revenue by major media investment group Group M, and the State Department has worked with foreign entities to censor Townhall articles. These incidents demonstrate the left's crusade against free speech, alternative media, and the importance of supporting independent media.

National Review: Turkey Appears Set for Runoff Election as Erdogan Falls Short
Turkey's presidential election did not result in a definitive win for either incumbent president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan or rival Kemal Kiliçdaroğlu. A third nationalist candidate, Sinan Oğan, garnered 5.3% of the vote. Both main candidates have claimed they are ahead and disputed the election figures, while Oğan has expressed concerns over alleged manipulation of overseas votes. A runoff election will take place on May 28, with Erdoğan holding a slight lead of 49.4% over Kiliçdaroğlu's 45%. A victory for Kiliçdaroğlu would likely signal Turkey's move toward a more democratic and secular path.
Fox News: Biden allegations were once the 'bread and butter' of the DOJ fraud and corruption unit: Former US Attorney
House Oversight Committee releases information alleging Biden family members received funds from foreign sources through over 20 companies, but mainstream media has shown no interest. Fox News' Trey Gowdy and former U.S. Attorney Brett Tolman express their concerns over potential criminal activity and DOJ's seeming reluctance to prosecute cases.
Red Wave Press: US ‘Has to Default’ on Something If Debt Ceiling Isn’t Raised Before Deadline: Yellen
Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen warns that the US government will have to default on some payments if Congress fails to raise the national debt ceiling before June, which could trigger a downgrade of the country's credit rating. Yellen urges Congress to raise or suspend the debt limit once again, as interest rates have been seen to rise as the limit may bind. While the Biden administration insists on a "clean" debt ceiling increase, Republicans remain cautious on defaulting national debt. The remarks come after Yellen argued that a US government default might spark a global downturn and weaken consumer confidence.
The Federalist Papers: Byron Donalds Takes Shot at Host of 'The View,' Dares Panel to Invite Him On as a Guest
"The View" host Sunny Hostin criticized CNN's decision to hold a town hall event with former President Donald Trump, while CNN's Anderson Cooper defended the decision, stating that we need to listen to the other side of the political debate, even if we find it outrageous. In response, Florida Republican Byron Donalds blasted Hostin for her authoritarian views and challenged her to a talk. Donalds stated that Hostin and people on the left who share her views demonstrate an authoritarian mindset of shutting down opposition and picking and choosing who gets heard, making Hostin's attacks on CNN for airing the Trump town hall problematic.
Donalds also criticized CNN's focus on anything but the years since Trump left office, claiming that Americans do not care about 2020 as much as they care about issues such as the fentanyl crisis, crime, and the price of gas and groceries, among other troubles. Donalds' argument calls for more Republican voices speaking out to offer opposition to the far left.

With Tony Pollard as the clear starting running back, the team is considering several options to complement him, including veteran Ronald Jones, second-year back Malik Davis, and rookie Deuce Vaughn.
