Flag And Cross: 'Chaos and Confusion': NBC Host Tears Biden Border Chief to Shreds On-Air Over Border Crisis
DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas faced tough questioning from NBC's Savannah Guthrie about the border crisis, with Mayorkas giving spin and failing to answer why the Biden regime made no move to prepare for the ending of Trump’s Title 42 rules. Guthrie also slammed Mayorkas from the left for continuing Trump's asylum policy despite Joe Biden calling it un-American during his campaign, with Mayorkas blaming the drug cartel criminals and Congress for the crisis. Mayorkas' spin revealed he is not offering serious resolutions for the crisis and there is talk of impeaching him.
Daily Wire: ‘They Do Not Expect This Lull To Last’: Reporter Bill Melugin Says Border Crossings Will ‘Crank Back Up’
Border Patrol agents expect a drop in illegal border crossings to be temporary, despite a recent decrease in numbers since the expiration of Title 42. CBP contacts predict numbers will increase again, but not as high as the record-setting levels seen in the past week. Among those who did cross illegally was an Afghan national on the FBI's terror watchlist, who was arrested by Border Patrol agents in San Diego and confirmed as a match by the FBI. Congressman Darrell Issa (R-CA) criticized President Biden's "reckless policy" for inviting even the most wanted terrorists to come to America.
Fox News: Biden says border looks ‘much better than you all expected’ after Title 42 ends, has no plans to visit
President Biden stated that the state of the U.S.-Mexico border was "much better than expected" after the end of pandemic era policy Title 42. Border patrol agents have seen a 50% drop in migrant crossings since Thursday, with Mayorkas attributing this to the criminal penalties for illegal entry resuming under existing law. However, the Biden administration's post-Title 42 plan requires migrants to schedule an appointment or seek protection from countries they passed through, with prison terms for other violations. Despite straining resources, border communities are not seeing the large influx of migrants they feared.
Daily Wire: Mark Green Hammers DHS Secretary Mayorkas Over Claims Illegal Border Crossing Have Dropped
Rep. Mark Green (R-NC) criticized Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas over claims that illegal border crossings have decreased recently, after the U.S. Border Patrol witnessed the highest number of crossings in its history at approximately 83,000 last week. Green stated that Mayorkas had neglected to mention that there were more crossings this week than at any other time, and that “the drug cartels have responded, and the numbers have fallen off for a couple of days.” Green believes that Congress needs to address border security before working to overhaul the immigration system. He plans to hold Mayorkas responsible for his “dereliction of duty.”
The Federalist Papers: 'Chaos and Confusion': NBC Host Tears Biden Border Chief to Shreds On-Air Over Border Crisis
In a rare move, NBC anchor Savannah Guthrie held Alejandro Mayorkas' feet to the fire over the border crisis. Mayorkas faced mostly friendly interviews but faced pointed questions about the border crisis from Guthrie. Mayorkas tried to spin for all he was worth, but Guthrie was undaunted by all that and grilled him on why the Biden administration hasn't prepared for this moment even after two years of foreknowledge that this policy was going to end. The hard questions revealed Mayorkas to be engaging in naked political spin, instead of offering serious border crisis resolutions. There is more and more talk of impeaching him from his position due to the massive crisis at the U.S. border, and both Alejandro Mayorkas and President Joe Biden are making it all far, far worse.
Red State: Judge Mocks Biden Admin's 'Chicken Little' Arguments, Refuses to Revoke Restraining Order on Key Border Policy
A federal judge in Florida issued a temporary restraining order on a Biden administration border policy allowing the release of illegal immigrants into communities without court dates. The White House called the ruling “sabotage”, but the judge refused to stay his ruling and criticized the administration’s inaction at the border. The policy in question is known as “parole with conditions”, which would allow for the release of migrants without an alien registration number or court date, making them untraceable. Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody had sued the Biden administration and requested the restraining order. The administration plans to appeal to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Breitbart: ZOA Slams Bernie Sanders for Hosting Rashida Tlaib's Antisemitic 'Nakba' Event
Senator Bernie Sanders is facing criticism from the Zionist Organization of America for hosting an event commemorating the “Nakba,” an annual observance by Palestinians that denies the right of Israel to exist, which they claim is not only anti-Israel, but antisemitic. The Nakba refers to the defeat in 1948 of Palestinians and other Arab forces who sought to crush the newly-formed Jewish state during its declaration of independence. In response, Sanders offered the use of a conference room in the Senate for an event marking the 75th anniversary of the war, organised by left-wing radical Representative Rashida Tlaib, angering the ZOA, who are calling for Tlaib and Sanders to be removed from their congressional committees and accusing Schumer of inaction.

Another video showed a man identifying as a woman telling his daughter that he is her mom. Some online threads also emerged on the topic. NBA player Ben Simmons, who was traded from the Philadelphia 76ers to the Brooklyn Nets, seemed to relish the Sixers' loss against the Boston Celtics on Instagram. In the Game 7 matchup, Simmons posted a shot of the game late in the fourth quarter with the Celtics leading 107-78 and a wine glass in hand. Jayson Tatum dropped 51 points in the victory, while Boston advances to face the Miami Heat for a trip to the NBA Finals.
