The Federalist Papers: Black Graduate Stands Up During Biden Commencement Speech, Shows Brutal Message Written on His Cap
At a commencement address at Howard University, some graduates held up signs and turned their backs to President Biden, with one sign reading "Biden and Harris don't care about black people." This is a major blow for the president as he relies heavily on black voters for his party's support, and highlights his unpopularity and potential vulnerability in seeking a second term. This gaffe echoes Kanye West's criticism of then-President George Bush during Hurricane Katrina, and could have lasting cultural impact.
Flag And Cross: Black Graduate Stands Up During Biden Commencement Speech, Shows Brutal Message Written on His Cap
Biden faces backlash at Howard University graduation, with some graduates turning their backs and holding signs that read "Biden and Harris don't care about black people." This gaffe is a bad sign for an unpopular Democratic president seeking a second term in 2024, especially since Democrats rely heavily on black voters. Despite his establishment media allies, Biden's appeal to skin color and little else appears to be backfiring. This presents a window of opportunity for Republicans if they can stop squabbling and strike while the iron is hot.

Erdogan has governed Turkey for two decades and the election has been centered on domestic issues such as the economy and civil rights. Both candidates have pledged different paths: Erdogan hoped to win a five-year term while Kilicdaroglu campaigned for a more democratic direction.
