American Thinker: When reality hits, it will hit hard
When reality hits, it will hit hard
"Super-saturation" occurs when a liquid is mixed with a solid beyond saturation, causing the excess to precipitate to the bottom of the liquid. This phenomenon is similar to the false prosperity of societies which survive until reality sets in and they become super-saturated with debt and breakdown of morality. The end will be a happy one, but until then, individuals are required to attend to their own spiritual development to find impossible courage and strength.

The fall of the Weimar Republic of Germany and the present situation of the US, which has a debt of over 30 trillion dollars, signals an impending disturbance that will bring everything crashing down. The solution to the impending catastrophe is not collective but rather individual, requiring each person to attend to their spiritual development and seek strength and courage to do the right thing, no matter how small their reach may be. Ultimately, there is hope, but it will require blood, sweat, toil, and tears to achieve.

American Thinker: Remember all of our favorite TV mothers
Remember all of our favorite TV mothers
Happy Mother's Day to all, including those yet to be. We loved TV mothers like Mrs. Cleaver in Leave it to Beaver, who reminded us of our own mothers. Mrs. Ingalls of Little House on the Prairie represented the courageous frontier mother, while Mrs. Adams of The Adams Family brought a more humorous note with Mrs. Morticia Adams. Salute to all mothers on this special day.

Washington Free Beacon: Latin Lovers
Latin Lovers
Et tu, Brute?: The Best Latin Lines Ever is a book by British classicists Harry Mount and John Davie that aims to show Latin is worth learning. The authors highlight Latin's concision, demonstrating its aptitude for brevity, and set Latin lines alongside English translations. However, the book also includes explicit poetry and lewdness, testing the stomach of readers. While the book is a readable highlight reel of Roman history for novices or for those looking to brush up, it is less likely to convince readers to learn Latin themselves.

Overall, the book attempts to entice readers with its "shock value and education on Roman social mores," but its connection to Latin can sometimes get tenuous. The authors succeed in demonstrating the beauty and pithiness of Latin, but they also include some ideas that work against the book as a whole. Ultimately, while the book may not convince readers to learn Latin, it does provide food for thought about the language's impact on Western civilization.

RV Lifestyle: WHAT IF You Crash Your RV? What's Your Plan?!
WHAT IF You Crash Your RV? What's Your Plan?!
Top Contributor in an RV Lifestyle Facebook group got into an accident and it taught her the importance of having an emergency plan in case your RV crashes. She shared several important questions that every RVer should be able to answer before they get into an accident, such as where they would stay if they were left homeless by the accident, how they would get back home if they were not a full-timer, and whether their RV insurance covers the cost of temporary lodging and transportation.

The post also raised questions about personal belongings, cancellation policies, and medical attention. The writer encouraged everyone to review their insurance policies and come up with an emergency plan that can be put in place if the worst should happen. RV Lifestyle recommends the RV Tech Course to help RVers learn how to maintain and repair their RVs.
