American Thinker: Who are the real 'Involuntary Celibate Violent Extremists'?
Who are the real 'Involuntary Celibate Violent Extremists'?
The Biden Regime's open-border policy has allowed over six million illegal immigrants, mostly young single Spanish-speaking and unskilled males, to enter the US, making it challenging for them to assimilate and leading to the formation of violent criminal gangs like MS-13. The FBI and DHS published a guide on "Involuntary Celibate Violent Extremism," but their definition only applies to white male citizens, and their focus on domestic violent extremism creates prejudice against a specific segment of US male citizens.

The cultural attack on masculinity and influx of low-status foreign males weakens men and leads to instability and violence, requiring totalitarian measures to strip personal freedom. Secret meetings by DHS and city mayors on "domestic violent extremism" and promises to dispatch DHS experts to cities to prevent it bring to mind Spielberg's Minority Report. Despite authorities claiming that the border is secure, it remains open to criminals and terrorists, and Director Mayorkas has inverted Homeland Security's charter, targeting US citizens as the threat.

American Thinker: Corrupt influence: The Biden family vs. Clarence Thomas
Corrupt influence: The Biden family vs. Clarence Thomas
The White House says Joe Biden only has a problem if it's proven that he changed policy decisions due to money received from foreign adversaries, despite evidence from his business partners suggesting he did receive money. It's difficult to prove if Biden changed his policies, as you can't x-ray someone's brain to determine their motives, and Supreme Court justices should recuse themselves if they have a conflict of interest.

The tens of millions of dollars paid to the Biden family by US adversaries were likely paid for political influence, which they tried to hide by using intermediaries and shell companies. Critics of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas suggest that he should have recused himself from cases involving people who paid for his vacations, even though they had no business before the Court. However, foreign adversaries who paid the Bidens millions of dollars had business before Joe Biden, as he was the Vice President and the point man for the US in their countries.

Washington Free Beacon: The Reactionary Feminist vs. the Meat Legos
The Reactionary Feminist vs. the Meat Legos
Mary Harrington, a self-described "reactionary feminist" and author of Feminism Against Progress, is challenging the idea that progress necessarily means positive change. Harrington's view is that not every change that free markets enable, or that societies embrace, is an improvement on what came before.

Harrington takes issue with some major changes we have seen in the relations between the sexes in the past 60 years, arguing that dating apps, "gender affirming" medical interventions, and even the Pill could be detrimental to humanity in the long term, despite offering instant gratification. Feminism Against Progress is a thought-provoking read that challenges modern feminist assumptions while acknowledging much of what has gone wrong with the modern world's approach to sexual matters. However, the book offers little in the way of political strategy or solutions beyond advice to focus on stability over freedom in family life, refuse the Pill, and reject men who are untrustworthy.

American Thinker: Death by Abortion
Death by Abortion
Does the devaluation of life through abortion lead to a cultural suicide? The mind that is willing to throw away potential life like garbage is both pathological and criminal, undermining the very foundations of society. The separation of mind and heart that permits a woman to reject the life growing in her womb can be seen as evidence of a mental disorder. Love and empathy are critical to the wellbeing of every human life, yet they are often switched on and off at will. The issue of abortion ultimately boils down to whether to snuff out a life or prepare for its miraculous arrival, and the consequences of choosing the former may lead to the devaluation of all human life.

Washington Free Beacon: From World Wars to the Cold War to Ukraine: How Central Europe Survives
From World Wars to the Cold War to Ukraine: How Central Europe Survives
Martyn Rady's new book, "The Middle Kingdoms: A New History of Central Europe," delves into the history of a region that has frequently hit the news headlines, ranging from the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand in 1914, to the Russian occupation of Ukraine in 2014. The book covers two thousand years of history, beginning with the Roman Empire and ending with Russia's aggression against Ukraine. It analyses the peculiarities of its people, traditions, and geography, and hints at the reasons for its geopolitical vulnerability, its uncertain borders and the impact of its diverse national identities.

Rady notes that Central European nations have grown separately from the state. Despite the pining of Machiavelli and other thinkers, there would be no Italian nation without the forceful unification of the peninsula by the Savoy rulers in the late 19th century. In Central Europe, national consciousness was seeded often without the state. Many, such as the Ukrainian nation, have developed despite not having their own state until recently. Some survived and prospered at least culturally as independent national entities even when under the political domination of others.
