The Federalist Papers: Reporter Can Be Heard Asking About Dead Migrant Child as Media Is Herded from Room - Biden Just Smiles
Silence and a smirk were all that met a reporter's question about a dead, illegal immigrant minor during a White House photo op with President Joe Biden and Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez. While offering brief remarks alongside Sanchez, Biden held a card and spoke of their support for Ukraine, signing a defense cooperation agreement, and facing the challenges of migration in the Western Hemisphere. The media was then ushered out, and amidst a flurry of unanswered questions, Biden appeared to smirk.
The death of Ángel Eduardo Maradiaga Espinoza, a 17-year-old unaccompanied child from Honduras, was referred to Health and Human Services care and placed in a Florida shelter, where he died Wednesday. A 4-year-old Honduran child also died while in custody in Michigan in March, with Biden having criticized the previous administration in 2019 after six children died in US custody at the border. However, when a reporter asked him about Espinoza's death, Biden remained silent.

Fox News: Trump cancels Iowa rally due to tornado warning: 'Be safe out there!'
Former US President Trump has cancelled a rally in Iowa due to inclement weather caused by tornado warnings in the Des Moines area, according to a post on Truth Social. The event was set to take place at the Lauridsen Amphitheater, but Trump claims that safety is paramount. Trump's campaign spokesperson said that they will reschedule the event as soon as possible.
While Trump cancelled his rally, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was in Iowa holding events in both the eastern and western parts of the state to raise funds for Republicans. Iowa has already witnessed a great deal of campaign traffic this year, with various visits from other high-profile Republicans, such as Nikki Haley, Mike Pence, and Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina.
The Right Scoop: BREAKING: Trump cancels campaign rally tonight due to inclement weather
Trump Rally in Des Moines canceled due to tornado warnings. Tweet deleted, rescheduling soon. Tornado DeSantis visited Iowa this weekend. Interesting coincidence. Stay safe.
Forbes: Abortion Ban Divides North Carolina: Gov. Cooper Vetoes Limits—GOP Legislature Pressed To Override
NC Governor Roy Cooper has vetoed the bill banning abortions after 12 weeks of pregnancy, saying that the bill has nothing to do with making women safer and everything to do with banning abortion. Cooper called on four Republican legislators to vote against overriding his veto. State Rep Tricia Cotham supported a bill in January expanding access to abortions and previously suggested she wanted to codify Roe v. Wade into state law, though she voted in favor of the 12-week abortion ban.
Republicans in North Carolina will be tested after Democrats suggested they would protect abortion rights. If just one Republican in the state's legislature keeps a campaign promise to protect women''s reproductive health, Cooper's veto will be upheld. The state bans access to abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy, though state Republicans argued a 12-week ban would be a compromise compared to other states passing bans after six weeks, according to the New York Times. Cooper previously condemned the Supreme Court's decision overturning Roe v. Wade, indicating “it’s now up to the states to determine whether women get reproductive health care.” Some states have recently passed bills banning abortions after six weeks, including Florida in April.
Independent Sentinel: Biden at Howard U: “Stand up against the poison of white supremacy"
Biden gave a speech at a Black College about "white supremacy" being the greatest terrorist threat in America, which he claims is not specific to the Black community. However, this is a lie fabricated by Democrats and the media, and Biden is an old racist who targets white people to maintain the Black vote. He falsely claimed to have taught at the University of Pennsylvania, which has been repeatedly debunked.
Biden's speech was divisive and spread hate and lies to students who were excited about their graduation day. He is a congenital liar and engaged in cronyism to earn $900,000 from Penn without teaching a single class. Colleges should stop engaging in this type of cronyism to lower their tuition. Biden's speech was nothing more than pandering and race-baiting at a Black College.

The New American: Ghetto Culture is a Mind Virus That Must be Eradicated
The black community in America is infected with a "mind virus" that keeps them in a perpetual state of victimhood, poverty, and ignorance, making them easier to control. This virus is caused by the culture of lasciviousness, ignorance, violence, materialism, and victimhood that has been perpetuated by entertainment, the media, and race-baiting demagogues. The "ghetto culture" popularized by gangster rap is a key part of this virus, with its glorification of violence, lawlessness, and promiscuity.
To eradicate this virus, the entire ghetto culture must be eliminated. Psychological conditioning en masse, including language and music, keeps those in the inner city in a lowly state, but if they embraced proper language and classical music, they would feel more dignified and see themselves as having higher purpose and potential. Changing clothing and postures can also help build confidence and self-assurance. Political solutions to problems facing the black community will never be comprehensive unless the deep cultural issues at the heart of them are dealt with.
Fox News: Princess Diana's brother honors late royal after King Charles’ coronation
Earl Charles Spencer shares a reminiscent video of Princess Diana’s childhood home, Althorp House, on social media. The video captures the serene view of the lake with blooming trees and spring flowers in the background, honoring the late Princess of Wales’ memories. Spencer’s photos and videos showcase Diana's final resting place at Oval Lake, and royal fans pay tribute to her in sweet responses to the video.
The reflection on Princess Diana comes after her ex-husband King Charles III’s coronation and Prince Harry’s memoir release that detailed his family’s royal riff. Amidst the royal tension, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, stepped back as members of the Royal Family to take up a new life away from the notorious British tabloids and media coverage, and Prince Harry also noted in his book that he had taken Meghan to visit his mother’s final resting place at Althorp House.

Red State: San Francisco Reporter Angered by Dave Chappelle Telling the Truth About San Francisco
Dave Chappelle performed a show in San Francisco, prompting mixed reactions from the audience and critics. One reporter, Dan Gentile, wrote a review heavily criticizing Chappelle's alleged transphobia and insensitivity towards the homeless. However, others enjoyed the virtuosic storytelling of the comedian, unaware of the controversies surrounding him. Chappelle's style is to point out the obvious and not avoid goring someone's sacred cow, making him a master of comedy.
Chappelle's job is not to mollycoddle the mirth-deficient or avoid offending someone's beliefs. He will make you angry, but how you reflect on that anger is up to you. Chappelle is not the enemy of the transgender community or homeless advocates, as they have themselves for that. Ultimately, the reception of Chappelle's show depended on the individual lens through which each person viewed it.
The Epoch Times: Yeats’s ‘Adam’s Curse’: The Dignity of Work
Yeats's poem "Adam's Curse" explores the importance of work in making life meaningful. The poem opens with a conversation among friends discussing poetry, where Yeats asserts that the work of a poet is even more challenging because it must seem effortless and natural. The conversation then shifts towards beauty in general, with the idea that a woman's beauty is the result of work, even if it cannot be discussed, as it would break the illusion of being effortless.
While the conclusion of the poem is melancholic, with the awareness that nothing, no matter how well-crafted, is permanent, Yeats highlights the importance of work, and how it confers dignity and brings the reward of rest. The alternative to work is to join the frenzied servitude to the world, numbly accepting our inevitable end, but to work towards beauty is to fight against time and to give our efforts unreservedly.

The Epoch Times: Illegal Immigration a 'Serious Problem': Analysis of Its Economic Impact
The man went fishing in the early morning mist, his rod and bait at the ready. He cast his line into the water and waited patiently for a bite. Suddenly, there was a tug on the line and he reeled in a large salmon. He smiled to himself as he removed the hook and released the fish back into the water.
Later that day, the man sat by the river, watching the sun set behind the mountains. He savored the silence and beauty of nature, reflecting on the simplicity of life. As the stars emerged in the sky, he packed up his gear and walked back to his cabin, content with his day's catch and the peacefulness of the outdoors.
