Flag And Cross: Fired-Up Ted Cruz Asks AOC the Perfect 'White Pantsuit' Question While Standing at the Border
Fired-Up Ted Cruz Asks AOC the Perfect 'White Pantsuit' Question While Standing at the Border
Senator Ted Cruz is criticizing Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for not drawing attention to the border crisis, despite her having previously worn a white pantsuit while visiting a detention facility in 2018. Cruz is arguing that Ocasio-Cortez and the Democrats do not care about the situation, and that the crisis is due to a decision made by President Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to open up the border.

Meanwhile, Ocasio-Cortez is advocating for work permits for those crossing the border, as New Yorkers and small businesses have made clear their willingness to employ their migrant neighbors. Some migrants entering the US illegally have been given court dates as far out as 2035, and monthly apprehensions could potentially reach up to 400,000 in a worst-case scenario. Democrats, however, have yet to take concrete action on the issue.

Over 60 Families of Illegals Found Living in a Greenhouse - Headline USA
Dozens of illegal immigrant farm workers and their families were discovered living in a dilapidated greenhouse at a Northern California nursery. Officials found 62 makeshift dwellings inside the greenhouse, made from plywood, sheetrock and other materials. The conditions were dangerous, with exposed gas lines and wiring, and no proper sewer. The nursery owner faces a fine of nearly $60,000 per day until the property is brought up to code.

It is unclear if the workers were employed at the nursery or just living there. Some residents were paying up to $2,000 per month in rent, and investigators have not yet determined where the illegal families are from, though some speak indigenous languages native to the Mexican state of Oaxaca. The property was investigated after an anonymous complaint.

Fox News: Biden tells Howard grads 'White supremacy' is the 'most dangerous terrorist threat' to the United States
Biden tells Howard grads 'White supremacy' is the 'most dangerous terrorist threat' to the United States
Biden said at Howard University, "White supremacy" is the "most dangerous terrorist threat" America faces. He spoke of the harsh reality of racism, and the need to choose love over hate. Biden received an honorary degree from Howard University for his years of service as U.S. Senator, Vice President, and now as President of the United States.

Conservatives criticized Biden's speech on social media, questioning the priorities of the administration and calling him a pathological liar propped up by the media to fuel racial division. Biden's approval ratings also slipped to 36%, according to a new survey. The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital.

The Federalist Papers: Federal Judge Strikes Down Age Limit on Handgun Purchases with Reminder of America’s 'History and Tradition'
Federal Judge Strikes Down Age Limit on Handgun Purchases with Reminder of America’s 'History and Tradition'
A federal judge has thrown out a law that prohibited anyone under the age of 21 from buying a gun from a licensed federal firearms dealer. U.S. District Court Judge Robert Payne ruled on Wednesday that no federal court has established that Second Amendment rights apply only to those over 21. The judge focused heavily on the U.S. Supreme Court's 2022 decision in New York State Rifle & Pistol Association v. Bruen, which overturned a New York state ban on carrying handguns, stating that gun control laws must align with the Nation's historical tradition of firearm regulation.

The Gun Control Act of 1968 and regulations from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives had been challenged by plaintiffs, including 20-year-old John Corey Fraser, who had been prohibited from purchasing guns. While Fraser's attorney, Elliott Harding, described the ruling as significant, gun violence prevention advocates have expressed disappointment. Clark, an attorney with the Giffords Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence, condemned Payne's ruling, stating, "there is compelling scientific evidence showing that teenagers are more impulsive and face unique elevated dangers from firearms."

Fox News: Biden blasted for calling ‘white supremacy’ ‘most dangerous terrorist threat’ at college speech: ‘Pure evil’
Biden blasted for calling ‘white supremacy’ ‘most dangerous terrorist threat’ at college speech: ‘Pure evil’
Conservative Twitter users criticized President Biden for claiming that White supremacy is the "most dangerous terrorist threat" in America during a commencement address at Howard University, accusing him of inflaming racial tension. During the speech, Biden addressed the graduates from the historical Black college at Washington D.C.’s Capital One Arena, warning them of the threats they face from division in their own country and the continuing battle with racism in America.

Biden hammered home the dangers of White supremacy, assuring his audience he wasn't just saying that because he was at a Black school. Conservatives found his remarks divisive and disturbing. They took to Twitter to denounce the president's comments, with one conservative influencer calling his statement "completely bonkers."

Flag And Cross: Video: Dem Congressional Staffer Thinks His Boss is 'Lying' About Her Record, Like Santos
Video: Dem Congressional Staffer Thinks His Boss is 'Lying' About Her Record, Like Santos
Democratic Rep. Lauren Underwood of Illinois has come under scrutiny after a Project Veritas video showed one of her staff members saying he thinks she's been lying about her nursing background. Legislative Correspondent Clay Connor Elmore said "between you and me, I feel like my member is lying about being a nurse," referring to Underwood. Elmore did not offer specific support for his comment, but in a 2018 campaign, Republican Rep. Randy Hultgren accused Underwood of falsely portraying herself as working with patients.

The Twitter video from Project Veritas, a conservative activist group, has focused attention on fabricated backgrounds amid the scandal surrounding Republican Rep. George Santos of New York. In contrast to Underwood, Santos has been criticized for being honest about his corruption, said Elmore. However, Elmore added that he has not called out Underwood because "my security is there."

Fox News: Housing association discovers body of tenant six years after death
Housing association discovers body of tenant six years after death
Robert Alton's body was found in his British home nearly six years after he died, according to the Bolton At Home housing association. The 70-year-old tenant appears to have remained undiscovered since his automatic rent payments continued to be funded after his death. The association, which apologised for not detecting Alton's death earlier, has changed procedures to prevent similar cases and is reviewing Alton's account for missed opportunities to act sooner.

After a number of attempts to contact Alton and arrange gas safety checks, officials discovered Alton's body along with a pile of unopened mail, 2017 food, and reading glasses on a TV guide. Although police investigations concluded that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death, the cause of death could not be determined.

Red State: REPORT: Top German Newspaper Killed Major Corruption Story to Please Joe Biden
REPORT: Top German Newspaper Killed Major Corruption Story to Please Joe Biden
German newspaper Bild, which has a reputation for muckraking journalism, has killed a major corruption story about Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, purportedly to please US President Joe Biden. Rama, the far-left leader of Albania’s Socialist Party, has been accused of several crimes, including drug trafficking and money laundering. Albania has become Europe’s leading narco-state under Rama’s leadership. The Bild report was set to expose Rama further, but the entire story was scuttled, the newspaper’s top editors explaining that “Washington stands by Rama” and so the report cannot run.

The relationship between Biden and Rama comes under scrutiny, as it’s unclear why the US would back a corrupt socialist leader in a largely uninfluential European nation. The US press has been accused of being shamelessly in the tank, leaving unanswered questions about European corruption. While the relationship between Biden and Rama might be perceived as political, the issues that are apparent in Albania beg the national interest question - what does the United States stand to gain from the influence they're exerting over a country embroiled in corrupt practices, organized crime, and drug trafficking?

Daily Wire: Former NBA Star Dwight Howard Apologizes To China After Calling Taiwan A Country
Former NBA Star Dwight Howard Apologizes To China After Calling Taiwan A Country
NBA star Dwight Howard has apologized to China for referring to Taiwan as a country. The former NBA player, who now plays for the Taoyuan Leopards in Taiwan’s T1 basketball league, used the phrase in a promotional video filmed with Taiwan’s vice president. Following coverage of the video on Weibo, a Chinese social media platform, angry citizens accused Howard of disrespecting China. Howard has since apologized, clarifying that he did not intend to harm or disrespect anyone with his words.

Howard’s apology follows a similar incident in which actor and wrestler John Cena apologized to China in 2021 after calling Taiwan a country during a promotional video. In Howard’s case, the video was promoting an opportunity to win a night’s stay at Taiwan’s presidential office. According to a Taiwan presidential spokesperson, Chinese visitors would be welcome to stay and learn more about the country, adding that Taiwan did not intend to “break their hearts”.

Fox News: Fatal Army helicopter crashes occurring as pilots fly 'significantly' less than decade ago: report
Fatal Army helicopter crashes occurring as pilots fly 'significantly' less than decade ago: report
Army pilots have seen a significant drop in flight time over the last decade, with Apache pilots experiencing a 50% decrease in flight time, Chinook pilots seeing 36% less time in the air, and Black Hawk pilots flying 25% less, according to military.com. This comes as the Army is investigating a recent string of fatal helicopter crashes, with much of the decrease in flight time attributed to the winding down of the Global War on Terror. However, the Army's aviation stand-down in early May came after several fatal helicopter crashes and close calls since February.

US Senator Kirsten Gillibrand has written a letter to US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin about the helicopter crashes, saying "it is critical we make every effort to avoid these accidents." She has asked for a response to her questions by August 1. The recent crashes in Alaska remain under investigation, according to the Army.

Baseball Player Ejected Over Home-Run Antic - Then the Coach Comes Out and Makes Things Worse
Drake Siens of Gustavus Adolphus College was ejected from a baseball game, along with his manager Brad Baker, after performing an extravagant bat flip following a home run during a game against St. Olaf College. The umpire gestured Siens off the field and Baker was ejected after running from the dugout to argue with the umpire. Fans were divided over the umpire’s decision to eject Siens for the bat flip, with some criticizing it and others claiming it was a dangerous toss that could have injured other players.

Baseball etiquette has come into question recently, with Major League Baseball implementing a pitch clock to speed up the pace of games. The debate over trick plays, bat flips and on-field celebrations continues to divide purists and those who want to see the sport broaden its appeal. Gustavus Adolphus and St. Olaf ended up splitting a doubleheader on Monday.

'There was blood everywhere': 13-year-old Florida girl explains how she fought off shark attack that landed her in the hospital
A 13-year-old girl named Ella fought off a shark attack at Fort Pierce Beach in Florida after feeling a sharp pain in her stomach. Ella was sitting in shallow water with her friend near a jetty when the attack occurred. She describes the pain as the shark hitting her stomach really hard but says she wasn't afraid because of the adrenaline. Ella needed 19 stitches on her stomach, arm, finger, and knee but was calm even when they got to the hospital.

Ella's mother thought it was a prank until she saw all the blood and realised it wasn't a joke. Devin said that Ella remained calm throughout the ordeal and told the nurses they could take pictures. Within 24 hours of the shark attack, Ella returned to the same beach and said she plans to go back into the ocean as soon as her stitches are removed.
