Daily Wire: Hundreds Of Unprocessed Migrants Released In Arizona City After Wave Of Illegal Crossings: Report
Hundreds Of Unprocessed Migrants Released In Arizona City After Wave Of Illegal Crossings: Report
Hundreds of undocumented migrants seeking entry into the US have been released in Arizona without being fully processed. According to the Daily Mail, 140 people were released at the Yuma Public Safety Training Facility while another 140 were dropped off at two other locations. Mayor Douglas Nicholls claimed that those released had been vetted and did not include criminals. Supervisor Jonathan Lines, however, criticised the move and blamed it on President Biden’s policy of open borders.

The US Border Patrol reported that a record-setting 83,000 illegal migrants had crossed from Mexico into the US in one week, following the end of Title 42, a Trump-administration immigration policy. The failure of the Biden Administration to manage the problem created by its open border policy has provoked criticism, and the release of undocumented persons into Arizona has further fuelled controversy. Republican Mayor Nicholls has called on President Biden to declare a national emergency at the border leading up to the expiration of Title 42.

Red State: Biden Exploding Over Border Failures, Unable to Sit Still at Howard Commencement
Biden Exploding Over Border Failures, Unable to Sit Still at Howard Commencement
Joe Biden is facing criticism for his handling of the border crisis after Title 42 was lifted and he appeared to have no real solution. Reports suggest that Biden "exploded several times" over what he thought was his team's failure to deal with the crisis, and former officials have expressed concern that the administration is not ready for the consequences of lifting Title 42. Biden has been accused of not taking the border problem seriously and throwing everything President Trump did under the bus, and now faces a fix of his own making as the problem continues to worsen.

At Howard University's commencement address, Biden claimed that white supremacy is the most dangerous terrorist threat to the homeland, raising some eyebrows and prompting criticism. He also appeared to be unable to sit still or focus on the speaker, leading to speculation about his behavior. Overall, Biden's handling of various issues has come under scrutiny, and it is hard to see things getting better any time soon.

The Federalist Papers: Town Hall Voter Sets CNN Straight and Calls Out Network's Narrative in Sit-Down Interview
Town Hall Voter Sets CNN Straight and Calls Out Network's Narrative in Sit-Down Interview
Former President Donald Trump appeared on a CNN town hall meeting, which turned out to be a "hit job" against him. CNN's Gary Tuchman sat down with a panel of voters after the town hall, hoping they would turn against Trump but they actually turned against CNN, pointing out their propaganda by asking the first question about the 2020 election instead of current issues.

The media continues to dwell on the past, with the first question Trump was asked about the 2020 election result, and in opposition to CNN's hopes, the panel of voters turned against them and called out their left-wing propaganda. Despite lies from Joe Biden and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the only people who died as a direct result of the Capitol riot on Jan. 6 were Trump supporters, and it seems that Trump would have been happy to talk about the 2024 campaign and his plans for a second term, but instead, the media turned the conversation towards the past.

Independent Sentinel: Fox Wants to Cover Donald Trump in Iowa After the CNN Bonanza
Fox Wants to Cover Donald Trump in Iowa After the CNN Bonanza
Fox wants to boost ratings and cover Donald Trump's rally today after weak numbers on Thursday, according to Trump. Cable ratings for Friday will come in on Monday, but Tucker Carlson's slot only landed 1.4 million viewers on Thursday, compared to his previous 3 million.

Recent polls show Trump leading DeSantis with 50 percent support in a head-to-head match-up, while several Republican candidates record support in the single digits. However, when asked about a hypothetical Biden-DeSantis matchup, 45 percent of respondents said they support Biden, and 42 percent support DeSantis. DeSantis is holding a competing event to Trump's rally in Iowa this weekend but Trump noted that he's 30 points ahead in Iowa, according to his personal pollsters.

Fox News: I left California 9 years ago. But the state is keeping my business hostage in bureaucracy hell
I left California 9 years ago. But the state is keeping my business hostage in bureaucracy hell
Born in Sacramento in the 1980s, the writer remembers taking road trips with his family to see the tar pits in Los Angeles, watching the prehistoric mammals trapped in bubbling muck. Recently, he feels the same way, stuck, suffocated, and suspended in time by California’s state government.

Despite moving to the Pacific Northwest nine years ago, the writer has spent the last 18 months trying to dissolve his old nonprofit corporation in California, facing bureaucratic incompetence and greed. He argues that the state's leadership is squandering the productive capacity of the past, creating an iron cage where residents are trapped, and warns that eventually, there will be a reckoning. The author hopes to complete his exit before that happens.

Fox News: Publix grocery chain apologizes after store bakery refuses to write pro-trans message on cake
Publix grocery chain apologizes after store bakery refuses to write pro-trans message on cake
Publix supermarket in Florida has apologized to a trans advocate customer after its bakery declined to write a pro-trans message on a cake. Yasmin Flasterstein attempted to buy a cake decorated with a pro-trans message, but was told by the bakery manager that it wouldn’t happen. The bakery decorated the cake with the words "people deserve joy" and provided the customer extra icing so she could add the word "trans" herself. Flasterstein complained about the incident on Facebook and said that she would no longer be using Publix for events. The supermarket has since apologized and claimed that it wasn’t against corporate policy to write the pro-trans message. Flasterstein has called for Publix to be accountable and to make sure this doesn't happen again.

Meanwhile, a Starbucks employee in Houston has been fired because they wrote "defund the police" on a coffee cup of an officer. When the officer received the cup, they took a picture and shared it on social media. The employee was then fired for violating company policy of staying neutral on social issues. The Starbucks' policy states that it does not allow employees to place personal messages or beliefs on customer orders. The officer has now cancelled his Starbucks Rewards account.

Flag And Cross: 'Sick and Upset' Vegan Brutally Mocked After Sending Threatening Letter to Neighbor
'Sick and Upset' Vegan Brutally Mocked After Sending Threatening Letter to Neighbor
A family in Australia left two letters for their neighbor, one complaining about the smell of cooking meat and the second taking a threatening tone. The first letter asked the neighbor to shut their window while cooking as the smell of meat made the vegan family feel "sick and upset". The second, titled "LAST WARNING", accused the neighbor of being rude and disrespectful, threatening to report them and their social media posts if they continued to have BBQs and cook meat with the window open. Both letters were met with mocking and dismissive responses on social media.

The neighbor, Kylie, denied purposely trying to upset the vegan family, explaining that she had organized a party for King Charles III's coronation weeks before the alleged BBQ and offered to compromise with the family. The threatening tone of the second letter triggered a wave of negative comments on the Hey Perth Facebook page, with users calling out the family's entitlement and harassment. There were also sarcastic responses to the threat of reporting and taking complaints to social media, questioning who Sarah would report them to.

The Epoch Times: Airbnb Posts $117 Million Profit, but Q2 Outlook Disappoints
Airbnb Posts $117 Million Profit, but Q2 Outlook Disappoints
Airbnb reported $117 million in earnings during the first quarter, with revenue increasing as travel continued to recover. Despite this, the company's outlook for late spring and early summer disappointed investors, resulting in a nearly 12% drop in share prices. The company predicts that its bookings will grow more slowly than its revenue in Q2, with the average daily rental rate being "slightly lower" than a year prior.

Airbnb's profit in Q1 compared to a loss of $19 million in the same period a year earlier, with revenue climbing 20% to $1.82 billion. Although it is seeing increased bookings from customers who are taking advantage of the ability to work remotely, the company remains concerned about rising rates that could price out some consumers. Overall, Airbnb is trying to accommodate younger travelers who cannot afford to rent an entire house and hopes that renting rooms in hosts' houses will provide a solution.

Carlos Alcaraz Expected To Be No. 1 Seed At French Open
Spain's Carlos Alcaraz will become the top-ranked men's tennis player in the world on 22 May after securing a victory against fellow countryman Albert Ramos Viñolas at the Italian Open. Alcaraz, aged 20, will take over from current world number one, Novak Djokovic. He will also most likely be the top seed in this year's French Open, marking the first time since 2003 that a non-Big Four member — Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Andy Murray — will be the tournament's top seed.

Nadal, aged 36, has had to withdraw from the Italian Open due to injury, and as a result, will make his clay court debut in 2023, if he plays. Djokovic and Nadal have won a combined total of 36 Grand Slam singles titles and currently hold tied records for all-time men's Grand Slam titles.

Track Star Dies After Collapsing During Practice - Day Before, He Did Something Amazing
Hunter Palmer, an 18-year-old high school athlete from Nebraska, died suddenly after collapsing during track practice. The cause of death has not been revealed. The day before his death, Palmer competed in two events at a track meet and cleared a personal best of 6 feet 1 inch in the high jump to win the event. He also played basketball for his high school and was an all-district running back in football. According to his obituary, Palmer also enjoyed golf, wrestling, and baseball.

Midland coach Jeff Jamrog posted a tribute to Palmer on Twitter, stating that "he was a dynamic young man who was an absolute pleasure to be around. Hunter was someone so special and will never be forgotten." Palmer had planned to attend Midland University in the fall. The Wisner-Pilger community was encouraged to check in on their children during this difficult time and to be aware that grief can affect each child differently.
