Breitbart: AZ GOP Chair DeWitt: Hobbs Rolling Out ‘Red Carpet’ for Migrants
AZ GOP Chair DeWitt: Hobbs Rolling Out ‘Red Carpet’ for Migrants
Arizona Republican Party Chairman Jeff DeWit criticized Arizona Democrat Gov. Katie Hobbs for making it easy for illegal immigrants to enter the US. Speaking to Breitbart News Saturday, DeWit estimated that around 700,000 “military-aged men” were waiting to cross from Mexico into the US since Title 42 expired. He faulted President Joe Biden’s administration for incentivizing border crossers through taxpayer-funded benefits, and explained that those entering the country are being given court dates as late as four years from today. DeWit believes the Biden Administration’s promotion of unfettered immigration will ultimately help the GOP’s chances of securing the White House in 2024.

DeWit confirmed to Boyle that he and the Arizona Republican Party are working on securing resources to build the “ground game” for an operation that could match the Democrat’s “ballot harvesting,” or “ballot chasing,” efforts. Breitbart News Saturday airs on SiriusXM Patriot 125 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Eastern.

Breitbart: Abbott: Dominion Must ‘Answer’ Questions About Role in Carlson Firing
Abbott: Dominion Must ‘Answer’ Questions About Role in Carlson Firing
Texas Governor Greg Abbott has called on Dominion Voting Systems to answer questions regarding its alleged involvement in the firing of conservative news host Tucker Carlson from Fox News. Carlson's legal team sent a letter to Fox News accusing the outlet of breach of contract and fraud, alleging that the network fired Carlson as part of its settlement with Dominion. The letter also alleged that Fox News had broken promises not to settle with Dominion in a way that would indicate wrongdoing on Carlson's part or harm his reputation. Abbott has said that Dominion must answer for its role in Carlson's firing before being allowed to do business in Texas.

However, Dominion has denied that it insisted on Carlson's firing as part of the settlement, and a Fox News spokesperson has called the reports about Dominion's involvement "categorically false". Carlson himself has moved to bring his show to Twitter, with his legal team possibly arguing that Fox News had violated its contract with him first, freeing him from it. Abbott has said that while he may disagree with others' positions, views contrary to his own should never be silenced improperly.

Daily Wire: DeSantis Arrives In Des Moines For Unplanned Stop To Meet Conservatives After Trump Cancels Rally Over Weather
DeSantis Arrives In Des Moines For Unplanned Stop To Meet Conservatives After Trump Cancels Rally Over Weather
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis made an unscheduled stop in Des Moines, Iowa, after former President Donald Trump canceled a rally due to inclement weather. DeSantis greeted supporters and took photos at a barbecue restaurant near where Trump's rally was set to be held. He made a brief speech, stating that if Republicans demonstrate "the courage to lead and the strength to win" and provide a positive alternative for the future, they will win in the 2024 election.

Trump had released a list of endorsements from pro-Trump activists and elected officials who endorsed him in Iowa, while the pro-DeSantis super PAC Never Back Down had released a list of 37 state-level Iowa lawmaker endorsements. DeSantis urged Republicans to make the 2024 election a referendum on Joe Biden's failures and to avoid distraction and focus on side issues. He warned that freedom is fragile and difficult to recover if lost.
