New speed cameras will be installed across the West Midlands to address the high rate of road fatalities caused by speeding. The initiative, under the "Joint Working Agreement," aims to cut road deaths and serious injuries by 50% by 2030.

Authorities will deploy enforcement technologies, such as Automatic Number Plate Recognition, to identify speed violators. Fines will vary, reaching as high as £2,500 for severe offenses. 

This effort seeks to improve road safety and ensure that reckless drivers face consequences for their actions.
