The grant, awarded to Southern University Agricultural & Mechanical College, aimed to address concerns about menstruation and explore natural fibers for hygiene products.
Rollins announced the cancellation on social media, highlighting it as part of a broader effort to reduce federal spending on similar grants. The study was initially set to continue until April 2027.

Adidas has sold its remaining Yeezy sneaker inventory, concluding its partnership with rapper Ye, which ended due to his antisemitic remarks in 2022.
