On Valentine's Day, a woman in her 40s was shot dead at the Three Horseshoes pub in Knockholt, Kent. The suspect, believed to know the victim, fled the scene, leaving a car and gun behind. 

Police are focused on one suspect and have ruled out any ongoing threat to the public. Investigations include reports of a man entering the water at the Dartford Crossing. 

The community is in shock, as the pub has a reputation for being safe and well-managed. Support is being offered to the affected families.
