Dr. Dimitrios Psaroudakis, a gynecologist, has been suspended by the General Medical Council for three months after making racially offensive remarks about Jewish colleagues and patients. He called colleagues "yews," "big nose," and "leprechaun," and suggested that Hammersmith would be better if it were "yew free." The tribunal concluded that while he is not racist, he is comfortable using discriminatory language. Dr. Psaroudakis will be able to practice again in April.
