Donald Trump denounced the Hush Money trial as a "witch hunt" after a judge set his sentencing for January 10, just before his potential inauguration as the 47th President. 

Judge Juan Merchan rejected Trump's bid to dismiss the verdict, stating there would be no jail time or fines. 

On Truth Social, Trump condemned the ruling as unconstitutional, citing the judge's supposed bias linked to his daughter's ties to Democrats. He claimed the legal challenges against him are politically driven and criticized previous cases that were dismissed.
