A wind energy project, supported by the Biden administration, has been canceled due to inflation, interest rates, and supply chain disruptions. The Empire Wind 2 project off the shores of New York was terminated by developers BP and Equinor, citing changed economic circumstances. The Department of the Interior and Department of Energy had previously praised the project. 

The UNSC held a meeting to address Houthi attacks on Red Sea shipping. Calls were made to stop the attacks and release a hijacked cargo ship, but no action was taken against the terrorists or Iran. 

Despite accusations of Hamas using its facilities, the White House continues to support UNRWA. Critics argue that UNRWA perpetuates conflict and indoctrinates Palestinian children. A White House correspondent questions this support, urging others to be aware. President Biden restored funding to UNRWA after it was cut by Trump. 

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant presented a plan for Gaza's post-war administration. Neither Hamas nor Israel would govern the territory after the conflict. The plan includes continued warfare until specific goals are achieved, after which local Palestinian bodies would assume governance while Israel retains the right to operate in the territory. This proposal was made ahead of Secretary of State Antony Blinken's visit to the region. 

Representative Jamie Raskin accuses Trump of violating the Constitution's foreign emoluments clause. The report claims to have concrete evidence of Trump accepting payments from foreign governments without Congress's consent.
