Le Monde: Guinea-Bissau president calls deadly violence earlier this week 'attempted coup'
Guinea-Bissau's President Umaro Sissoco Embalo declares the recent violence as an "attempted coup," as the army orders members of the National Guard back to barracks. At least two people were killed in the unrest. Embalo, who was attending a climate conference in Dubai, promises serious consequences for the coup attempt.
