GB News: Reeves’ farm tax will ‘radically change’ our favourite British landscapes as 'big corporates' move in, warns MP
A rural MP has criticized Rachel Reeves' inheritance tax on farms, warning it could lead to corporate buyouts of family-owned farms, threatening the landscape and food security in the UK. Many farmers struggle financially, and the tax may force them to sell their land to large corporations.
Labour defends the tax as a means to fund public services, despite pushback from experts and farmers who argue it unfairly targets those with low incomes but high asset values. Critics contend the policy will harm rural communities and the agricultural sector.

The Western Journal: Reminder: You'll Need Federal Government 'Real ID' if You Want to Fly in 2025
Starting May 7, 2025, travelers will need a federally compliant "Real ID" to board domestic flights and access certain federal facilities. This requirement stems from a 2005 law aimed at enhancing security post-9/11, but its implementation has faced significant delays.
The case of David O’Connor highlights potential issues with the Real ID process, as he struggled to prove his citizenship despite living in the U.S. for decades. Critics argue that the Real ID initiative may create unnecessary bureaucracy without effectively increasing security.
