There are discussions about exiling Hamas leaders rather than killing them, but this is not currently a concrete proposal. In separate incidents, violent clashes erupted in Rafah after Hamas gunmen shot and killed a young Palestinian man who approached an aid truck, leading to protests against Hamas and calls for accountability. There have been reports of Hamas stealing humanitarian aid and resources meant for Gaza, causing anger and frustration among the Gazan population. Many people in Gaza are starving due to insufficient food supplies.
