The two-state solution in Israel is losing its credibility among politicians in London and Washington, who only support it for appearance's sake. However, for those affected by the conflict, the idea of a Palestinian state seems detached from the horrors they have endured. The obstacles to achieving a resolution run deep, as the Palestinian cause represents larger divisions within the Muslim world. Unfortunately, progress is impeded by the refusal to acknowledge the pervasive Israelophobia deeply ingrained in Palestinian society.
