GB News: Man, 30, charged over fatal hit-and-run which killed boy, 2, and left 4 injured
A 30-year-old man, Sharjeel Shahzad, has been charged in connection with a fatal hit-and-run in Smethwick that resulted in the death of a two-year-old boy and serious injuries to four others. The incident involved a stolen Porsche that collided with a Toyota Auris.
Shahzad faces multiple charges, including causing death by dangerous driving, and is currently remanded in custody. He is scheduled to appear in Birmingham Magistrates' Court. Two of the injured adults remain hospitalized, while the others are stable.
